2 God s purpose is more important than our plans God has placed His word above even above Himself God will never violate or break His word

3 Proverbs 19:21 (NKJV) 21There are many plans in a man s heart, Nevertheless the Lord s counsel that will stand. What is the difference between the your plans and the Lord s counsel?

4 Here is the one you must understand Psalms 138:2 (NKJV) I will worship toward Your holy temple, And praise Your name For Your lovingkindness and Your truth; For You have magnified Your word above all Your name.

5 In effect, whenever God speaks, He Himself is willfully obligated to obey His own Word. Therefore, any law of God is a law to God, He can not break it. WOW!!!

6 Isaiah 55:11 (NKJV) So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. He has to do what He says He is going to do.

7 Genesis 1:26 (NKJV) 26Then God said, Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth. With This let them God created some boundries.

8 Boundaries The legal authority to dominate the earth was given to mankind only. God did not include Himself in this authority Man is a spirit with a physical body; therefore only spirits with physical bodies can legally function in the earth realm.

9 God Himself, who is a spirit without a physical body made himself subject to this law and rule. The creator and the heavenly beings cannot interfere in the earth realm without the cooperation and permission of man.

10 What then is prayer Prayer is man given God legal right and permission to interfere in the earth realm. Prayer is man giving heaven earthly license to influence earth. Prayer is man s using his legal right to get heaven involved.

11 Let us see if this makes sense Chronicles 7:14 (NKJV) if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

12 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (NKJV) Rejoice always,17 pray without ceasing,18 in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

13 Luke 18:1-5 (NKJV) Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart, 2 saying: There was in a certain city a judge who did not fear God nor regard man. 3 Now there was a widow in that city; and she came to him, saying, Get justice for me from my adversary. 4 And he would not for a while; but afterward he said within himself, Though I do not fear God nor regard man, 5 yet because this widow troubles me I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.

14 Can we explain this parable? 1. What do you think the widow was doing while before the judge changed his mind? 2. Did she argue or fuss with is first decision? 3. Did God get involved

16 ka^ bash kaw-bash' Subdue A primitive root; to tread down; hence negatively to disregard; positively to conquer, subjugate, violate: bring into bondage, force, keep under, subdue, bring into subjection.
