2 2 An accepted supplication The book Taareekhu Al Khameese\ الخو ش حبس خ by the judge of Makkah Al Mukarramah\ هكت الوكشهت Al Deyaarbakree\ القبض الذ بسبكشي and others as well have reported from Abbaas ben Merdaas\ عببس بي هشداس that he said: In the afternoon of the day of Arafat\ عشفبث the Messenger of Allaah Sallaa Allaahu Alayhe Wa Alaa Aalehe Wa Sallam invoked Allaah\ هللا to forgive the sins of his nation. He, Sallaa Allaahu Alayhe Wa Alaa Aalehe Wa Sallam was told: "إ قذ غفشث لهن هب خال الوظبلن فإ آخزهن للوظلىم هي الظبلن." The Hadeeth means: I have forgiven them except the wrongs they did to each other, for I will take it from wrong doer and give his good rewards on the day of judgment to the wronged one. Then, Sallaa Allaahu Alayhe Wa Alaa Aalehe Wa Sallam said: The Hadeeth means: "أي وسب إى شئج أعط ج الوظلىم هي الج ت و غفشث للوظلىم." O my Lord if You want You give to the wronged one from Paradise and forgive the wrong doer. He Sallaa Allaahu Alayhe Wa Alaa Aalehe Wa Sallam got no response on that evening.عشفبث Arafaat\ in Next morning (The Eed Day\ الع ذ ( ىم while in Al Muzdalefah\ الوزدلفت at the Masjed Al Mash are Al Haraame\ الوشعش الحشام هضجذ he repeated the same supplication and it was accepted of him. Then, Sallaa Allaahu Alayhe Wa Alaa Aalehe Wa Sallam smiled. Aboo Bakr\ أبىبكش and Umar\ عوش saw him smiling and said: We ransom you with our fathers and mothers, this is not a time you used to laugh! Please share with us what made you laugh, may Allaah\ هللا make you laugh!

3 3 Sallaa Allaahu Alayhe Wa Alaa Aalehe Wa Sallam said: "إى عذو هللا إبل ش لوب علن أى هللا عز وجل قذ إصخجبة دعآءي وغفش ألهخ أخز الخشاة فجعل حث على سأصه و ذعىا بؤلى ل والثبىس." The Hadeeth means: The enemy of Allaah\ هللا Eblees\ إبل ش when he came to know that Allaah Azza wa Jalla\ هللا عزوجل Has accepted my supplication and forgiven my nation took dust and poured it on his head and said: Woe to me, I have been destroyed. This Hadeeth is reported by Ebnu Maajah\ هبجه,إبي Al Bayhaqee\ الب هق and brings good news to the Ummah of Prophet Muhammad Sallaa Allaahu Alayhe Wa Alaa Aalehe Wa Sallam.
