Is it a guidance for them: how many generations, We have destroyed before them whose dwellg they walk about? that are Signs. Then do they hear? 27. Have they seen that We drive ra to a barren land, then We brg forth thereby crops which their cattle and they themselves eat? Then, do they see? 28. And they say, `When will th decion be, you are truthful?` 29. And (the enemy) had entered upon them all its sides, and they had been asked to (commit) treachery, they would have done it, and they would have hesitated over it a little. 15. Among the believers are men, true to what they promed. And among them he who has fulfilled h vow, and among them he who awaits. And they did alter (the terms of their commitment) by any alteration That may reward the truthful for their truth and punh the hypocrites He wills or turn mercy to them. Oft- Forgivg, Most Mercul. 25. And turned back those who dbelieved, their rage, they did obta any good. And sufficient was for the battle, and All-Strong, All- Mighty. 7 26. And He brought down those who supported them among the People of the Scripture their fortresses and cast terror to their hearts, a group you killed and a group you took captive. 27. And He caused you to herit their land and their houses and their properties and a land which you had trodden (i.e., set your foot before). And on everythg All- Powerful. 28. O Prophet! Say to your wives, `If you desire the le of th world and its adornment, then come, I will provide for you and release you with a good release. 29. But you desire and H Messenger and the Home of the Hereafter, then deed, has prepared for the good-doers among you, a great reward.` 30. O wives of the Prophet! Whoever of you commits a clear immorality, for her the punhment will be doubled. And that easy for.
