1 477 Surah Al-Mumun In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. 1. Successful deed are the believers the Most Merciful. durg the Most Gracious, (of) Allah, Those who 1 (are) the believers In (the) name successful Indeed, 2. Those who are humbly submissive durg their prayers, 3. Those who turn away va talk, Those who 2 (are) humbly submissive, their prayers 4. Those who are doers of purification works, of purification works Those who 3 turn away, the va talk 5. And those who guard their modesty (are) guardians of their modesty they rightfully possess what beyond seeks whoever And those who 7 And those who 4 (are) doers, or their spouses Except 5 6 blameworthy. (are) not then deed, they (are) the transgressors. then those that 6. Except their spouses or what they rightfully possess, then deed, they are not blameworthy. 7. whoever seeks beyond that, then those are the transgressors. 8. And those who keep their trusts and their promise(s) And those who 8 (are) observers and their promise(s) of their trusts 9. And those who guard their prayers 10. Those are the heritors (are) the heritors Those 9 they guard their prayers over 11. Who will herit the Paradise. They will abide there forever. So blessed is Allah, the Best of Creators. 15. deed, after that, you will surely die. 478 then We created (to) an embryonic lump, the clgg substance then We created then (with) flesh; the bones then We clothed (to) bones, the embryonic lump, (the) Best Allah So blessed is another. (as) a creation We produce it surely (will) die. that after deed, you 14 (of) the Creators. 16. deed, you will be resurrected on the Day of Resurrection. will be resurrected. (of) the Resurrection, (on the) Day deed, you And deed, We have created above you seven paths, and We are not unaware of (Our) creation. and not paths seven above you We (have) created And deed, And We send down water the sky (due) measure then We cause it to settle the earth. And deed, We are Able to take it away. 19. We produced for you therewith gardens of date-palms and grapeves, where are abundant fruits and them you eat. the sky And We send down 17 unaware. the creation of We are on And deed, We, the earth. then We cause it to settle (due) measure water, gardens by it for you We produced 18 surely (are) Able. takg it away, and them abundant (are) fruits it for you, and grapeves, of date-palms 20. And a tree that sprgs forth Mount Sai which produces oil and (it is a) relish for those who eat. And deed, Mount Sai 20 (that) sprgs forth And a tree for those who eat. and a relish oil 19 you eat. (which) produces 21. And deed, for you the cattle is a lesson. We give you drk that which is their bellies, and for you them are many benefits and of their (meat) you eat. (is) you eat. what We give you drk surely, (is) a lesson. and of them many (are) benefits them the cattle and for you for you their bellies, 22. 3 479 Worship O my people! and he said, his people, you fear? will not other than Him. to god Nuh (is) any We sent for you And verily not Allah; 23. And verily, We sent Nuh to his people, and he said, O my people! Worship Allah; you have no god other than Him. will you not fear (Him)? his people, among disbelieved (of) those who the chiefs But said 23 assert (his) superiority to he wishes like you, a man but This is not Not Angels. surely He (would have) sent down Allah had willed and if over you, 24. But the chiefs of his people who disbelieved said, This is not but a man like you, he wishes to assert his superiority over you. And if Allah had willed (to send Messengers) surely He would have sent down Angels. We have not heard of this our forefathers. (is) but a time. he until Not 24 concerng him our forefathers. of this so wait (is) madness, him we heard a man 25. He is not but a man possessed with madness, so wait concerng him for a time. 26 they deny me. because Help me My Lord! He said, He (Nuh) said, My Lord! Help me because they deny me. and Our spiration, under Our eyes, the ship construct That to him, So We spired to it then put the oven, and gushes forth Our Command comes then when those except and your family, two (of) mates every (kd) of address Me And (do) not thereof. the Word agast whom (has) preceded 27 (are) the ones to be drowned. deed, they wronged, those who concerng 27. So We spired him (sayg), Construct the ship under Our observation and Our spiration, then when Our Command comes and the oven gushes forth, then take on board a pair every kd and your family except those agast whom the Word has preceded. And do not address Me concerng those who wronged; deed, they will be drowned. the ship [on] (is) with you and whoever you, you (have) boarded And when (has) saved us Who (be) to Allah, Praise then say, Surah 23: The Believers (v ) Part And when you and those with you have boarded the ship, then say, Praise be to Allah, Who has saved us

And say, My Lord, cause me to land at a blessed landg place, and You are the Best of those who cause to land. cause me to land My Lord, (of) those who cause to land. 480 And say, 28 the wrongdoers. the people - (are) the Best and You blessed, (at) a landg place 30. Indeed, that are Signs, and deed, We are surely testg (people). We are and deed, surely (are) Signs, that Indeed, We produced after them another generation. another. a generation after them We produced 30 surely testg. 32. And We sent among them a Messenger themselves (sayg), Worship Allah; you have no god other than Him. will you not fear (Him)? Worship you fear? [that] themselves a Messenger will not other than Him. among them And We sent god (is) any for you not 31 Allah; 33. And the chiefs of his people who disbelieved and denied the meetg of the Hereafter while We had given them luxury the life of this world said, This is not but a man like you. He eats of what you eat and drks of what you drk. 34. And if you obey a man like yourselves, then surely you will be losers. and denied disbelieved who his people of the chiefs And said 32 the life while We had given them luxury (of) the Hereafter, (the) meetg of what He eats like you. a man but (is) this Not (of) the world, And surely if 33 you drk. of what and he drks [ it], you eat 34 surely (will be) losers. then deed, you like you, a man you obey 35. Does he promise you that when you are dead and become dust and bones, you will be brought forth? dust and you become you are dead when that you Does he promise you Far-fetched, farfetched is what you are promised! 37. There is no other life but the life of this world, we die and we live, and we will not be resurrected. far-(fetched) Far-(fetched), 35 (will be) brought forth? that you and bones our life (is) but it Not 36 you are promised! is what (will be) resurrected. we and not and we live, we die (of) the world, Surah 23: The Believers (v ) Part - 18

5 Allah about who (has) vented 481 a man but (is) he Not He is not but a man who has vented a lie about Allah, and we will not believe him. He said, 38 (are) believers. () him we and not a lie, 39. He said, My Lord! Help me because they deny me. After a little while He said, 39 they deny me. because Help me My Lord! 40. He said, After a little while, they will surely become regretful. truth, the awful cry So seized them 40 regretful. with the people - So away (as) rubbish of dead leaves. surely they will become and We made them 41. So an awful cry seized them truth, and We made them like rubbish of dead leaves. So away with the wrongdog people. a generation after them We produced 41 the wrongdoers. 42. We produced another generation after them. and not its term, nation any can precede Not 42 another. 43. No nation can precede its term, nor can they delay (it). () succession. Our Messengers We sent 43 they (can) delay (it). they denied him, its Messenger, (to) a nation came Every time narrations. and We made them others, some of them so We made (them) follow - We sent 44 they believe. not with a people - So away clear and an authority with Our Signs Harun and his brother Musa 44. We sent Our Messengers succession. Every time there came to a nation its Messenger, they denied him, so We made them follow one another, and We made them narrations. So away with a people who do not believe. 45. We sent Musa and his brother Harun with Our Signs and a clear authority but they behaved arrogantly and his chiefs, Firaun To To Firaun and his chiefs, but they behaved arrogantly and were a haughty people. Shall we believe they said, 46 haughty. a people and they were 47 (are) slaves. for us while their people like ourselves () two men Surah 23: The Believers (v ) Part they said, Shall we believe two men like ourselves while their people are our slaves.

6 48. So they denied them and became of those who were destroyed. 49. And verily, We gave Musa the Scripture so that they may be guided. 50. And We made the son of Maryam and his mother a Sign and sheltered them on a high ground, havg tranquility and water sprgs. 51. O Messengers! Eat of the good thgs and do righteous deeds. Indeed, I Am All-Knower of what you do those who were destroyed. of and they became So they denied them be guided. so that they may the Scripture Musa We gave And verily, a Sign, and his mother (of) Maryam (the) son And We made 49 and water sprgs. of tranquility a high ground, to and We sheltered them righteous (deeds). and do the good thgs of Eat O Messengers! And deed this, your religion, is one religion, and I Am your Lord, so fear Me. 53. But they cut off their affair (of unity) between them to sects, each faction rejoices what it has. this, 52 what And deed so fear Me. faction each 51 All-Knower. you do of what your Lord, And I Am one. (is) religion (to) sects, between them their affair (of unity) Indeed, I Am your religion, But they cut off 54. So leave them their confusion for a time. until their confusion So leave them 53 rejoicg. they have 55. Do they thk that what We extend to them of wealth and children of [with it] We extend to them that what Do they thk 54 a time. 56. We hasten them good? Nay, they do not perceive. the good? to them We hasten 55 and children wealth 57. Indeed, those who (live) cautiously for fear of their Lord those who Indeed, 56 they perceive. not Nay, 58. And those who believe the Signs of their Lord And those 57 (are) cautious. (of) their Lord (the) fear 59. And those who do not associate partners with their Lord with their Lord And those 58 believe (of) their Lord (the) Signs 60. And those who give what what give And those who 59 associate partners. And We do not burden any soul except to its capacity, and with Us is a Record which speaks with truth; and they will not be wronged. over confusion (are) (are) doers for it they behold! with the punishment, their hearts Nay, 62 be wronged. that, besides (are) deeds and for them their affluent ones We seize when Until (will) not this, Nay, their hearts are confusion over this (Quran), and they have deeds besides that which they are dog 64. Until when We seize their affluent ones with punishment, behold! They cry for help. Indeed, you today. cry for help (Do) not 64 cry for help. They 65. (It will be said), Do not cry for help this Day. Indeed, you will not be given help Us. My Verses were Verily, 65 will be helped. turn back your heels (to) on but you used speakg evil. conversg by night, about it, not Us to you, recited (Beg) arrogant 66. Verily, My Verses were recited to you, but you used to turn back on your heels 67. Beg arrogant regardg it (Quran), conversg by night, speakg evil. not what has come to them or the Word they ponder, do not they recognize (do) not Or 68 (to) their forefathers? (had) come they say, Or 69 (are) rejectg him? so they their Messenger, but most of them the truth, he brought them Nay, (is) madness? In him Surah 23: The Believers (v ) Part do they not ponder over the Word or has there come to them that which had not come to their forefathers? 69. Or do they not recognize their Messenger, so they are rejectg him? 70. Or they say, In him is madness? Nay, he brought them the truth, but most of them
