To review scriptural sources demonstrating that peace-making is an integral part of several religious scriptures and traditions. There will be an opportunity to discuss several verses from the Holy Quran. To reflect upon how we meet the dispute resolution needs of our diverse communities. To develop a good level of competence in resolving disputes in commercial, community, family, intergenerational, probate, school and workplace contexts where the parties cultural and/or religious perspectives are relevant. To learn how to record terms agreed by the parties to improve the chances of legal enforceability of their agreement in the event of a breach. To build a network of faithful peacemakers in the UK and abroad. To achieve 40 CPD points (Civil Mediation Council) To convert this training into Civil Mediation Council certification through certification by ADR-ODR International (CMC accredited training provider) by attending 12.30pm Thursday 16th March 2.00pm Friday 17th March Anyone with experience of dispute resolution and a strong commitment to achieving the objectives listed above will benefit from attending this course.
