REPENT YE AND BELIEVE THE GOSPEL Repent ye and believe the Gospel, (Mark 1:15) was the words of our Lord Jesus when He started His earthly ministry. It is important to note that our Lord Jesus said repent ye and believe... (The ye here means all of you because The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9. That is, everyone should change their mind and accept our Lord Jesus Christ and His Gospel. WHAT DOES THE WORD REPENT MEAN? The word repent, is translated from the Greek word metanois, which simply means to change your mind. This is also a derivative of the word metamorphosis, which means to transform. Like a grub in the cacoon being transformed into a new creature, it is not a new creation as the new corrupt Bibles tell us because it is the same grub that is transformed into a beautiful butterfly.. I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Romans 12:1-2 Most modern unbelieving scholars and theologians are trying to convince Christians that the word repent means to turn from your sin. They are trying to get you to believe that to get saved and receive eternal life; you have to repent of your sin. That is not the truth because that is a salvation which is of your own selves, and is of works. If you have to repent of your own sin to get saved and receive eternal life, you have to do a work for it. The Holy Bible tells us that it is by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. Ephesians 2:8-9. Nowhere in the whole of the Holy Bible does it tell us that we have to do an initial work of repentance of our sin to get saved. The truth is; if you try to get people to repent of their own personal sin to get saved and receive eternal life, makes them focus their attention upon themselves and their own works. Most do not know what sin is, so, when people hear this, most reject the idea that they are sinners. However, to change their mind and believe in and accept our Lord Jesus Christ and His Gospel, changes their focus and has a much more powerful and broader meaning on a whole lot of issues other than just focusing on a person s own personal sin. Having a constant emphasis that a person must repent of their sin in order to be saved, (which requires the effort of selfworks), is an issue that must be dealt with. Initially, we do not have to repent of our sin in order to get saved; we only repent of our sin after we truly believe in our Lord Jesus Christ and His Gospel. EXAMPLE: The Veil in the Temple stood as a barrier to stop sinners entering into and having direct access into the presence of our Holy God. When our Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross He said, It is finished, (John 19:30) and The Veil in the temple was rent from top to bottom, taking away ALL the effort of self-works of Repentance of sin to be saved; a teaching that excludes sinners from easy access into salvation and eternal life through believing in our Lord Jesus Christ. JESUS DID IT ALL FOR US BY HIS DEATH ON A CRUEL CROSS. The PROBLEM IS that The Temple Veil is still in the minds and hearts of those who do not believe that our Lord Jesus Christ s death on a cruel cross tore it apart, allowing all sinners direct access into the presence of our Holy God despite their sin and sinful nature. To deny this is to prevent the GOOD NEWS of salvation which is called the GOSPEL reaching everyone whosoever they may be. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. John 3:16-17 To hide their crime, the Jews stitched up the torn veil; so to make His intention plain through the death of His only begotten Son, in AD 70, God had the temple destroyed. The barrier caused by repentance of our sin to be saved has been removed by the death of our Lord Jesus Christ and is NO LONGER a barrier that prevents sinners from being saved. Having to repentance of our sin in order to be saved no longer applies to anyone seeking salvation and eternal life through believing in our Lord Jesus Christ. 1

So is now only UNBELIEF in our Lord Jesus Christ and His Gospel that prevents sinners from taking that step of faith through the torn veil of Christ s flesh into the Holy presence of God our heavenly Father and His salvation and eternal life. Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; Hebrews 10:19-20 Because God has taken away the veil, sin no longer prevents a person from becoming a Christian and receiving eternal life in heaven with our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore the self-works of repentance of our sin for salvation does not achieve anything; and forgiveness of sins by a pastor or priest is folly when God, Who is the only One who can and has, at the cross of Christ, already done this for us. The barrier of sin was removed at Christ s death when the Veil in the Temple was torn from top to bottom. The real issue now focuses our attention upon our belief or who we believe in. Do we in belief, look to our Lord Jesus Christ for our salvation and eternal life? For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. John 3:16-17 We can confirm that the correct definition of the word repent means to change your mind and think differently; or to change your mind and transform your thinking from unbelief to belief concerning our Lord Jesus Christ and His Gospel. Unrepentance simply means that you did not change your mind and believe in our Lord Jesus Christ and His Gospel, the consequences of such a choice may end a person up in hell. In Mark 1:15, our Lord Jesus unites the entire components of this verse and focuses our attention upon believe the Gospel. Thus the whole verse tells us how we are saved, and that is by simply changing our mind and believing in our Lord Jesus Christ and His Gospel. The evidence is clear, the person who changes their mind and truly believes in our Lord Jesus Christ and His Gospel has also repented, they happen simultaneously. You don t have to repent of your sins to be converted, if you truly believe in our Lord Jesus Christ and His Gospel, you will be converted. Praise God. If you truly believe you will be converted or born again. See Acts 8:35-38 and John 3:3 REPENTANCE OF SIN DOES NOT MEAN THAT YOU WILL BE CONVERTED Example: Judas Iscariot repented of his sin and brought forth fruits meet for repentance: (Matthew 27:3) He returned the money to the Scribes and the Pharisees, but was not a believer like Peter was. (John 6:68-70) This is because he did not believe in our Lord Jesus Christ s teachings about His death on a cruel cross would save him. It was unbelief that caused his downfall. Without believing, the repentance of his sin counted for nothing. Had he truly believed and went back to our Lord Jesus like Peter did, he would have been saved. This is because on the cross, our Lord Jesus died for Judas too. Through the Confessional, many Roman Catholics repent of their sins, but they are not converted or born again. This is because they do not through faith, believe that the death of our Lord Jesus on a cross is sufficient for their salvation, neither are they taught it. Their repentance is based around Catechisms, the Rosary Beads, Penance and the Sacraments etc. Repentance of our sins (self-works) does not necessarily result in conversion, and Penance will not save you, but truly believing in our Lord Jesus and His Gospel does both. Repentance of our sin does not fix our sins; it is God Who does this for us through the shed blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. (See John 1:29) And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood; Revelation 1:5 All over the world people repent of their sins, but they are not converted or born again because they do not associate their repentance of sin with forgiveness from our Lord Jesus before He died on the cross. Roman Catholics repent, criminals repent, all over the world, people repent but do not necessarily believe in our Lord Jesus Christ and His Gospel. Esau tried to repent but found no place of repentance. For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears. Hebrews 12:17 If you have the right definition of the word repent, ( to change your mind ) and the change or transformation of your mind concerns your belief and acceptance of our Lord Jesus Christ and His Gospel, this saying is true. If you repent, (that is to change or 2

transform your mind about our Lord Jesus and His Gospel) you will be a believer, and visa-versa, if you are a believer, your mind and heart will have been changed or transformed in your belief about our Lord Jesus Christ and His Gospel, and you will be truly saved. See Romans 12:1-2 THE REMISSION OF SINS The Scriptures divides sin and sins into five main groups. These are: 1. FORGIVENESS OF SINS. Ephesians 1:7 2. REMISSION OF SINS Matthew 26:28, Mark 1:4, Luke 1:77 Luke 3:3, 3. PURGING OF OUR OLD SINS. Psalms 51:7, Proverbs 16:6, Malachi 3:3, 4. SINS BLOTTED OUT Acts 5:31, Acts 13:38, Acts 26:18, Ephesians 1:7 5. THE COMPLETE REMOVAL OF THE PRESENCE OF SIN FOREVER (1) THE FORGIVENESS OF ALL OUR SINS The real issue is the fact is that God has already unconditionally forgiven every one of their sins. This happened at the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ when He said; Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do. Luke 23:34. When our Lord Jesus said this, He did not make any conditions for us to receive either His or His Father s forgiveness for all our sins. This is the Good News called the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. And He (our Lord Jesus) is the propitiation (means merciful sacrifice ) for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. 1 John 2:2 When were we forgiven for all our sins? Before our Lord Jesus died on the cross when He said, Father, forgive them, for they know what they do. Luke 23:34. In this statement, our Lord Jesus was asking our heavenly Father to forgive us for all our sins before He died on the cross. This means that it was through His great unconditional love for us, that our Lord Jesus had already unconditionally forgiven us of all our sins and was requesting our heavenly Father to do the same. By forgiving us of all our sins, our Lord Jesus was carrying out what He had instructed us to do, and that was for us to forgive everyone their trespasses and sins too. Mark 11:25-26, Matthew 6:14-15 This same kind of unconditional forgiveness occurred when Steven was being stoned to death. And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord; lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep. Acts 7:60 The request for the unconditional forgiveness of their sin by Steven was through love, directed to our Lord Jesus who has also forgiven us of all our sins; and He did this by His unconditional love before He died on the cross. When our Lord Jesus said, Father, forgive them, our Lord Jesus Christ did not place any conditions upon us to receive His forgiveness of all our sins. ***See Mark 2:5, Luke 7:48 and John 8:1-12 Because all have sinned and come short of the glory of God, I was there with the soldiers, and so were you; as were the Scribes and the Pharisees etc. Through our own personal sin and sinfulness, we were all there crucifying our Lord Jesus. Therefore, it is also fair to say that when our Lord Jesus said; Father, forgive them, for they know what they do; he was forgiving you and me too. This is the better hope (Hebrews 7:19) of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus, knowing that God really has unconditionally forgiven us of all our sins. Why is it so important for us to know that our Lord Jesus has unconditionally forgiven us of all our sins before He died on the cruel cross? This is because that was the only time that His unconditional forgiveness of all our sins by His great love for us could be witnessed and recorded publically and therefore would be heard by sinners all over the world. (See John 12:30-33) This universally declared His true and great love for us. (2) THE REMISSION OF SINS Our Lord Jesus said. For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins; Matthew 26:28, Hebrews 9:22 say s, And without shedding of blood is no remission. These verses are ABSOLUTELY CENTRAL for our salvation. They explain the reason for which our Lord Jesus Christ came to earth; mistranslate these verses and the whole purpose for which our Lord Jesus Christ came and shed His precious blood is made of no effect, destroying the very foundation of our salvation. This means that any bible that has mistranslated these verses is in very serious error and is a bible that should be trashed. 3

So, what does the word remission mean? It is often used in medical terminology to explain that a life threatening disease has become dormant or inactive in a person through treatment or some other means. The disease that is resident in the body is rendered inactive, its destructive power and influence over normal bodily functions is abated; but under certain circumstances, because it is resident in the flesh, it can revive and become active again. We can relate this to our Christian life when we know that even though we have become a Christian and our sins have already been forgiven and we are living in a life that is free from sin, ( Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness, Romans 6:18) sin is still resident in our flesh and if we yield to peer pressure, temptation or tribulation etc., sin can revive and take over again. For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died. Romans 7:9 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, (change your minds) and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. Acts 2:38-39 With the exception of the New King James Bible, (***See endnote) all the new translations of the bible mistranslate these verses by saying for the forgiveness of sins instead of for the remission of sins. (The forgiveness of sins does not stop people committing sins or remove our fleshly sinful desires; that would be like trying to cure cancer without any treatment). When it is understood that the remissions of sins means that sin is now under control by being rendered inactive in a person s life as explained above; helps us understand that the Authorised King James Holy Bible is the only right translation for all English speaking people. Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. Proverbs 4:7 Because most do not know that all their sins have already been forgiven at the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, they do not consider that repentance for the forgiveness of sins is a wrong translation. Most focus upon the forgiveness of their sins because they think that is the way that they are being saved; and that is what they are often taught. We are only saved when we change our mind and believe in our Lord Jesus Christ and His Gospel. The forgiveness of sins does not stop people continuing to commit sin or sins continuing deadly activity in us. Nor does it give us through the gift of the Holy Spirit, the ability to get sin under control, or to quit sinning like the remission of sins does. Our Lord Jesus Christ came and shed His precious blood to get rid of sin in us so that a holy life free from sin may be achieved by the gift of the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit. Forgiveness of sins does not enable us to get us control of our sin, whereas by faith that cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God, the remission of sins does. By receiving the gift of the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit, God deals with the problem of the sinful nature that is in our flesh. It is not our work of repentance of sin that takes away or defeats sin in us; it is the work of our Lord Jesus Christ that does this for us. Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. John 1:29 In our modern society, most people do not want to live a holy life; this is because their selfish and pleasurable lifestyles do not have any room for holiness or for the holy presence of our Lord Jesus Christ living in them. If Acts 2:38 is to be interpreted correctly, it should read like this. 1. Repent, that is, change or be transformed in your mind about our Lord Jesus Christ and His Gospel; that is His life, death and bodily resurrection; believe in Him and accept Him as both Lord and Saviour. By changing our mind and truly believing in our Lord Jesus Christ and his Gospel, we are saved. (See John 3:16-17) 2. Be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins. This is NOT for the forgiveness of sins because that took place unconditionally at the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ when he said, Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do. Luke 23:34 (See also 1 John 2:2) 3. By truly believing in our Lord Jesus Christ followed by the witness of baptism, the disease of sin and death that is resident in the flesh, is relegated into remission, making way for the reception of the gift of the Holy Ghost, who by His power and presence in us, enables us to live a holy life pleasing unto our Lord Jesus Christ. 4. When sin is in remission by faith that comes from hearing, and hearing by the Word of God, a holy life by the power and the presence of the gift of the Holy Spirit can be realised. Romans 6:6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. (See Romans 6:1-6) 4

5. Salvation does not come by our being baptised, ( baptismal regeneration is a wrong teaching) or from penance, or from the sacraments etc. Salvation only comes to us when we change our mind and believe in our Lord Jesus Christ and His Gospel. Our Lord Jesus said; Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed. Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent. John 6: Baptism is not for the forgiveness of sins, (that took place at the cross of Christ) but to confirm and bear witness of the remission of sins that results in the enabling of a holy life to be lived out by the presence of the gift of the Holy Spirit dwelling in us. 7. IN CONCLUSION. The forgiveness of all our sins does not stop a person actively committing sins, whereas by faith that cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God, the remission of sins does. (Romans 10:17) The unconditional forgiveness of all our sins took place at the cross when our Lord Jesus Christ said; Father forgive them; the remission of all our sins for which our Lord Jesus shed His precious blood, took place when we believed and were baptised. Acts 10:43 To him (our Lord Jesus Christ) give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins; By this verse we can understand that it is only those who believeth in Him that receive remission of sins, and therefore able, by the presence of the Holy Spirit living in us, live a holy life being made free from sin. This is a continual process throughout our Christian lives. Of course we recognise that the presence of sin, which has been placed into remission through our Lord Jesus Christ s sacrifice on a cruel cross; is still resident in our bodily flesh and fleshly desires. This is because if we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 1 John 1:8. Therefore, if you stop believing, sin can revive and take over again. (Romans 7:9) Sins activity is revived by doubt and unbelief. Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation (means merciful sacrifice ) through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; Romans 3:25 This verse is telling us that the remission is for sins that are past, therefore any sins that are committed when we are a Christian, need to be confessed to God and forsaken. This application comes from 1 John 1:9-10. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Our Lord Jesus does this for us by being our Advocate. (Our Lord Jesus Christ is our Advocate, not pastors or priests etc.) My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: 1 John 2:1 Note that this Scripture states And if any man sin. This means that it is not normal for a Christian to continue to commit sin. But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. Romans 6:18 It must be noted here that sin is singular and confirms that it is not normal for Christians to continue to commit sin. We only repent of sin after we truly believe. Because the remission is for sins that are past, we should be able to live by grace through faith, a holy life free from sin before our Lord Jesus by the presence of the Holy Spirit being active in us, Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy 1 Peter 1:16 (3) THE PURGING OF OUR OLD SINS What is the purging of our old sins? It is the removal of all those past sins that were things that we did knowingly or unknowingly, deliberately or by habit. These may include the following; Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. Galatians 5:19-21 These are purged out of our system by the incredible longsuffering and patience of our Lord Jesus Christ. Our Lord Jesus sits as a refiner and purifier of silver. 5

And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness. Malachi 3:3 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. Psalms 51:7 Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood Revelation 1:5 After I truly believed in our Lord Jesus and was saved by the saving grace of God, the Holy Spirit started dealing with my sin and my sinful nature. Is He dealing with your sin too? If God is not dealing with our sin and sinful nature after we truly believe and are converted, then the saving grace of God is not in our life and we are not saved or being sanctified. See John 17:17-19 Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; Colossians 3:9 Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul; 1 Peter 2:11 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; Ephesians 4:22 How does our Lord Jesus purge us of all our old sins? It seems that as trials come to us through circumstance etc., our Lord Jesus Christ, through the work of the Holy Spirit, is able to reveal to us what our natural lusts and desires are; and help us change our attitude towards those things until we no longer want them to be a part of our nature. Our Lord Jesus does this with great love, care, patience and understanding. John 15:1-2 and 1 Peter 1:3-9 Purging has the effect of changing our leavened nature into unleavened bread. Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our Passover is sacrificed for us: Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. 1 Corinthians 5:7-8 By mercy and truth *iniquity (*is lawlessness) is purged: and by the fear of the LORD men depart from evil. Proverbs 16:6 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins. Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: 1 Peter 1:4-10 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin; Romans 6:6 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; Hebrews 1:3 It is our Lord Jesus Christ who purges us of all our sin so that so that we will become like Him. We were originally made in His image and likeness, but it was sin that marred that image and likeness. John said, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. John 1:29 Our Lord Jesus Christ continually takes away the sin of the world. And God said; Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: Genesis 1:26 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Romans 8:29 The image of our Lord Jesus being in us is only possible when He has purged us from all our sins. This does not mean that our Lord Jesus has not forgiven us all our sins, He did that unconditionally before He died on the cross, it means that He is not finished with us yet until He can see His perfect image reflected in us. (4) SINS BLOTTED OUT The following verses are to do with both our sins and our transgressions. I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy transgressions, and, as a cloud, thy sins: return unto me; for I have redeemed thee. Isaiah 44:22 6

As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us. Psalms 103:12. That is, all our sins etc., never to be remembered forevermore. But he was wounded for our transgressions; he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. Isaiah 53:5 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; Acts 3:19 I do not know when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; will occur. However when it does, I will be glad that He is here. By our Lord Jesus blotting out all our sins, helps us to understand that in heaven, all our sins and transgressions will never again be remembered forevermore. (5) THE COMPLETE REMOVAL OF THE PRESENCE OF SIN FOREVER And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. Revelation 21:1-5 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless. 2 Peter 3:12-14 In heaven, there will no longer be any presence of sin. Every sin will have been removed forevermore. CONCLUSION 1. The Forgiveness of all our sins gives us a better hope by way of the Simple Gospel, For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God. (Hebrews 7:19) The Forgiveness of sins does not stop people committing sins, or get rid of the deadly activity of sin, whereas by faith that cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God, the remission of sins does. (Romans 10:17) 2. The Remission of sins helps us live, through the presence of the gift of the Holy Spirit living in us, a holy life that is pleasing unto our Lord Jesus. 3. The Purging of our sins means that it is our Lord Jesus Who removes through the process of sanctification, all our old bad habits, lusts and desires. 4. The Blotting out of sin helps us to understand that in heaven, our sins and our transgressions will never be remembered again forevermore. 5. The Complete removal of sin by our Lord Jesus Christ, means that we will have everlasting life in heaven without the presence of sin. Our Lord Jesus said; Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. ***Endnote: On page 4, it is noted that the New King James Bible agrees with the King James Holy Bible and therefore most think that the New King James Bible is a reliable or accurate translation. This is one of the only few places that it does agree. Almost 60,000 disagreements in total. The New King James Bible like ALL other New English Bible translations, completely ignores or avoids the very important issue of the present continuous tense being included in their translations like the King James Holy Bible translation does. Despite what some may think or believe, this makes the New King James Bible another one of those bibles that should be trashed. The Authorised King James Holy Bible is the only English Bible translation that does not fail in any part of its translation.
