Background: Healing for the Nations International Convention is an annual activity organised and hosted by World Shine Ministries [WSM] in partnership with Churches, Christian organisations and other established institutions. Healing for the Nations International Convention 2016 was the third, having the first one held in 2014, and the second in Both the first and second conventions have taken place in Kampala City of Uganda, however, the 2016 convention was held in Rwentobo, Ntugamo District-Western Uganda. The Healing for the Nations International Convention 2016 was from 11 th May- 15 th May 2016 at World Shine Foundation School Rwentobo. The convention theme was Arise and Shine based on Isaiah 60:1. The reasons behind the convention being held in Rwentobo western Uganda were first of all reviving the

old western alter and taping the East African Revival anointing, secondly was to open a convention centre which would serve Uganda, Burundi, Congo, Rwanda and Tanzania. Thirdly Uganda had been hit by political confusion and hatred born from the recent concluded elections so the convention was deemed fit to bring healing and reconciliation. It should also be well-known that Western part of Uganda has many Shrines, Occult, Sorcery practices and high level of sin. There was a very treacherous religious spirit combined with denominational hatred, the convention therefore was focussed on rekindling the revival spirit and bringing unity for the church to arise and shine. There was a move to have rotational conventions around all the Ugandan regions i.e. Central, Western, Eastern and Northern. As it is a culture, the Healing for the Nations convention normally runs concurrently with Forum meetings, these are organised for professionals and other established and special groups that are unable to attend the main convention. This time round Forum Meetings included meeting with Government officials, Boda Boda and Taxi Drivers, Church leaders and married couples. In a special way, we also held crusades in different towns around the area for the traders that would not travel to the convention site as our Mission says; we REACH, RAISE and RELEASE people into their destiny. World Shine Ministry (WSM) is a Christian inter-denominational, non-profit, nonpolitical, non-racial, non-governmental revival oriented International Christian organisation reaching out to the nations preparing the church for the healing of the nations. It exists to raise Godly men and women to lead Uganda and influence the nations for Christ, it seeks to reach, raise and release people into their destinies and in to the seven mountains of the society. World Shine Ministries was founded by Rev. Dr. Birungi ByaYesu and his wife Connie Birungi. Rev. Dr. Medad BirungibyaYesu PhD is a senior lecturer at Kyambogo University, an Anglican priest, international evangelist of the gospel of Jesus Christ, and a scholar. The Convention s Objectives: 1. Mobilising, Motivating and Preparing the Church for Revival and Healing of the Nations; 2. Empowering, Imparting and Equipping the Church for Ministry; 3. Networking, Partnering and Collaborating for Ministry; 4. Fellowshipping, Renewal and Revival of Apostolic Christianity; 5. Reaching Western Uganda region with the Gospel of Jesus Christ; 6. Bringing Christians Together for the Common Aim of Shining for Christ. Activities On Wednesday 11 th of May 2016, Rwentobo trading Centre came in encounter with a strange occurrence, for it has never been imagined or thought about; and what was this?, The Healing For the Nations International Convention People of all races, ages and colours converged at the World Shine Foundation

School to level ground with this new incidence. The session begun with a Brass Band Procession around Rwentobo town as of course the melody produced by the band coloured the entire march. THE BRASS BAND MOVING AROUND RWENTOBO TOWN ON THE GRAND OPENING OF THE CONVENTION To set the ball rolling, the hardened Intercessor Pastor Agaba Patrick led the congregation into a session of Prayer that was intended to open the heavens. Without any further hesitation the Praise and worship team took-over and led the congregants in songs exalting and honouring God for the marvellous day.

PASTOR AGABA WARMING UP THE STAGE WITH PRAYER On invitation to stage, Rev. Dr. Medad BirungibyaYesu (Host) welcomed the assembly with the powerful song Webare Yesu, Webare Kunduhura(Thank you Jesus, Thank you for redeeming me); this sort of opening enticed the excited crowd to show their rare dancing strokes. In his remarks, he said that Bishop Nathan Ahimbisibwe of South Ankole Diocese was not able to come and officiate the grand opening of the Convention, for he had urgently been invited to attend the Swearing in Ceremony of the President which was to occur the following day. He also extended the Prime Minister s apologies in the same regard. REV. DR. MEDAD BIRUNGI (HORST) WELCOMING ALL THE GUESTS TO THE CONVENTIOON

JOAN BOSMAN (AFRICAN COORDINATOR) AND STEVE HAPP (USA CORDINATOR) AT THE CONVENTION Dr. Howard Barnes an International Evangelist from (UK) stepped in for the Bishop on the Grand opening. In his submission revealed that he last came to Uganda fourteen years ago. When I was young my Mother dedicated me to preach the Gospel the whole World and when I grew up God instructed me to sell my house and go everywhere to Preach the gospel, Howard said. Dr. Howard who moves with a trumpet wherever he goes, revealed that it is an instrument that when it is sounded, God hears; to this effect he ended the grand opening with the sounding of the trumpet and declared that every word spoken in sincerity on the convention ground will be to bring transformation in peoples lives. CONNIE BIRUNGI (LEFT) AND DR. HOWARD BARNES ON THE OPENNG OF THE CONVENTION.

Joan Bosman (Co-host) aka Mama Africa introduced Apostle Joseph Elwyn the Speaker of that very evening. Apostle Joseph Elwyn is originally born from India but resides in Australia and carries out ministry across the World. Apostle Joseph who was excited to be in Uganda and Africa for the first time was convinced that something new was going to happen. Joseph revealed that while they were at the Prayer Mountain in Kampala God assured him that something new was going to happen and as he was landing at the Ugandan Airport, God instructed him to pray over Lake Victoria the source of River Nile and God said that wherever that river passes; all people of that land will be transformed. Remembered by many as the Hallelujah preacher, Apostle Joseph said for his purpose as the first speaker was to set the gathering for the coming days. He said that when you arise and shine, the glory of the Lord shines upon you. JOAN BOSMAN aka MAMA AFRICA, REV.DR MEDAD BIRUNGI (HOST) AND APOSTLE JOSEPH ALYWN JOAN BOSMAN aka MAMA AFRICA AND APOSTLE JOSEPH ALYWN SPEAKING It s a common understanding in the believers world that Man shall not live by bread alone but also every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. The convention had a full package of the physical and the spiritual food. Whenever it approached one o clock, the expectant congregation would already be in the mood of ministering to their stomachs. The word hungry was never in the convention vocabulary; kind people big-heartedly contributed food items including animals for meat, people ate meals at all times ranging from Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner except Friday when the entire convention was praying and fasting for Uganda. On Thursday 12 th May 2016, Mama Africa took to the stage as the first preacher and passionately talked about the fire of Elijah. Basing on the book of 1Kings 17, Mama Africa said that God is searching for men and women of Elijah type he can pour his Spirit, authority and power to trample over demons and to destroy the powers of witchcraft that has continued to claim God s people in Uganda and the world over. She concluded her sermon calling upon God s people to rearrange

alters as per God s command in their homes, families, nations in order to have revival. MAMA AFRICA SPEAKING AND BELOW IS THE HEALING AND DELIVERANCE SESSION The Thursday day afternoon, Rev. Irene Akankwasa the seasoned prayer Warrior from All Saints Cathedral Nakasero-Uganda took to the stage and broke down the workings of the prayer. In her teaching, Irene defined Prayer as the act of Worship by which we offer ourselves to God with our needs. It is a way we communicate with God. She revealed that prayer involves adoration, confession of sins and intercession. Her sermon was beefed up with various testimonies of how God has constantly delivered her and her family through prayer. Prayer is the strongest weapon a Christian can have to fight battles.

REV. IRENE AKANKWASA FROM ALL SAINTS CATHEDRAL - NAKASERO KAMPALA BLOWING THE TRUMPET History has it that near Rwentobo town in a place called Kiyanja was an alter where the revivalists of the 1940 s used to meet and pray but as time went by the revival died out and it was unreservedly at this moment that this alter was to be restored; Dr. Howard Barnes from UK led this session. The Alter that was established cuts across denominations, ages, races, tribes and clans. It is intergender, and intergenerational. Before this ceremony, Dr. Howard explained that an Alter is a place of God s presence, power and purity of his people. As it is his custom to blow the trumpet, Dr. Howard blew the trumpet to ceil this covenant. After the establishment of the Alter, a notable preacher from Kenya Bp. Simon Kamau stepped on the pulpit and started doing the needful. With a lot humour Bp. Simon narrated how he failed all the interviews in Kenya even that of becoming a bar attendant. He said from childhood, he has never known his father but acknowledges that Jehovah God is his father, against this testimony; Bp. Simon encouraged the gathering by telling them that By the end of the day, you will become what God has called you to be. Situations and conditions will never change your identity. Your background does not determine your future. Bishop Kamau Simon stressed that we arise and shine in the abundance of darkness. Before God said that let there be light, it means the whole universe was full of darkness. His message was moving and touching that when an alter call was made; over 300 people gave their lives to Christ.

APOSTLE JOSEPH ALWYN (LEFT) AND BISHOP KAMAU FROM KENYA Friday 13 th May 2016, the second speaker was Dr. Howard Barnes from UK, who passionately spoke about the mystery of becoming the bride of Christ. In the nutshell of his sermon, Dr. Howard observed that it is more blessed to be united than being divided; to this he quoted Psalms 133 saying where there is unity God commands a blessing. He said that Jesus is longing to walk with his bride and say this is the one I paid for my blood on the cross. To the bombshell of many, Howard revealed that they were in Jesus before the world begun citing that Jesus is the second Adam as the Church is the second Eve. In his assent, Dr. Howard disclosed that while he was in Uganda, he realised that there was a high level of familiarity to God to this effect, Uganda which has 85% of its population as Christians is the first in alcoholism and Road accidents in Africa. Third highest in Witchcraft, Sorcery, corruption as well as Teenage pregnancy, 5 th in police brutality, 7 th highest in domestic violence, where 80 men killed their wives and 37 women killed their husbands in the year There were 150 acid attacks and 2,900,000 people are living with HIV/AIDS. It is against this background that Dr. Howard invited all Ugandans to start crying to God for repentance.

THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE REPENTING THEIR SINS AND TURNING BACK TO CHRIST As obviously people had finished repenting and pouring out their hearts to God, Apostle Joseph Elywn took to stage and brought the message of assurance and affirmation saying that it was that day that God wanted to restore revival in Uganda. Apostle Joseph made it clear to the gathering that he over and over again uses the word, Hallelujah because it is a heavenly word and the reason it never changes with languages. Apostle Joseph, said that revival means sharing not just receiving, to this he challenged the congregants to go out and share what they have received. As opposed to the earthly fathers, Jesus Christ receives us when we choose to come back home. When the Holy Spirit comes over you, he will restore and believing God is the assurance of his blessings. APOSTLE ALWYN PRAYING FOR THE CONVENTION

Undeniably a distinguished teacher of the word indeed, Dr. KL Dickson from Fort Portal Uganda in the afternoon of Friday, took over the stage and thoroughly ministered to the congregants. Expounding on the book of Matthew 24:8-14, Dr. Dickson revealed that illuminati and false teaching have in the recent past rushed to take fame in Church and unfortunately some Christians are growingly succumbing to the whims of this manipulation. He said that today, there are many great men preaching the word of God but few of them are godly. Explaining on prophecy, Dr. Dickson said that Jesus was not a prophet of doom but a prophet of salvation. Prophecy is a will of God, it is not man induced. He encouraged Christians not to look for prophecy but for Jesus because whoever finds Jesus has seen the way. This teacher of the word noted that a slipup embraced by many Christians today is the thinking that trouble and difficult time don t come to believers, he said being in Christ does not exonerate you from meeting trouble but when this happens continue believing for the bible says that whoever holds out to the end shall be saved. Dr. Dickson ended his teaching by inviting three categories of people to be prayed for i.e. those with spiritual husbands, those who dream while in a casket and those who dream a snake biting them. At this point there was a warfare engagement that after it healing, deliverance and restoration of many kinds was reported. DR. DICKSON TAKING UP THE STAGE WITH A GREAT SURMON AND PRAYER.

This convention attracted people from all walks of life including celebrated academicians like Professor Yusto Kahwa of Makerere University who spoke fervently on the theme Arise and Shine. Quoting from the book of John 1:4-5 which says that In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it, to this Kahwa exhorted the congregants saying that Jesus is the source of light, when he shines in our lives he reveals all the filth in us. He said that when we arise and shine then the glory of God will rise upon us. The Physics professor illustrated using the physical science knowledge that the light you see from the sun and the lamp is called white light, its not pure it has many colours like the rainbow. When it is raining the drops of water can separate them. In science, there is a filter used to sort out colours to produce white light in the same way as Christians, Jesus Christ works as our filter constantly sorting us out. He ended by calling upon the assembly to let their light so shine before others, that they may see their good deeds and glorify their father in heaven. Friday evening is when the passionate Jan Winterburn taught on Christians as living stones. Jan comes from USA; she is married with children and grandchildren. Her beginnings in marriage were not easy as her fiancé was not only believing but also condemning her for believing. God is merciful, he miraculously saved her husband later alone and they have lived happily together for 44 years now. Basing on the book of 1 Peter 2:4-5, Jan said that our role as Christians is to believe in him and become living stones. When living stones stay together and relate to each other for God s mission, the church begins to be seen. Jan ended by telling the assembly that preaching the Gospel is not solely for priests but all of us. It is not a command to first be ordained in order to preach the gospel. JAN WINTERBURN (USA) AND WORLDSHINE ADMNISTRATOR CONNIE BIRUNGI

Saturday 14 th May, was a day of difference! The morning sky shining brightly radiating God s glory on the land, the congregation as the previous days gathered at the site and commenced the session with songs of praise and Worship. In a short while an opening prayer led by Rev. Gordon was made encircling Uganda s repentance to God and unity in the Church. REV. GORDON KARUHANGA At 9:30 Am Rev. Dr. Hartmurt Kopsch, a distinguished bible expositor took to the stage and expounded on the book of John 11 the topic; Jesus the resurrection and the life. In his discussion Dr. Hartmurt revealed that when Jesus delays, it does not mean that he is not hearing your prayer but wants you to mature in Spirit and Character. Jesus saying that he is the resurrection and life means that he can raise up a dead body and give it life as it the case in Ezekiel 37, the valley of dry bones. The bible exposition by this great man ran through from Thursday to Saturday. REV.DR MEDAD BIRUNGI WITH DR. HARTMURT KOPSCH-UK

Among the speakers was Pastor Allen Natalie- Karungi (Uganda given name), in her submission, Allen explained what God desires! Using the illustration of husband and his wife she said that when a husband marries a wife, he becomes one with his wife. It is a responsibility of a man to choose a wife to marry. Just as a man chooses a wife for marriage in the same way God chose us to be his bride. Before a man marries a wife she has to say yes to him. We were chosen long ago by God. What God wants is to say yes to him to be his bride. Allen said that Ugandans were chosen to go and shine to the rest of the nations in the world. It is in darkness where light shines well. When light enters into darkness, it leaves sick people healed, the discouraged encouraged, the sad and mourners receive comfort and joy. ALLEN NATALIE - KARUNGI SPEAKING ON THE CONVENTION

Immediately after the bible exposition, the great Revival Choir of Lift up Jesus Church took to stage and led in praise songs that ushered in the next preacher. Bishop Nathan Ahimbisibwe (Co-host) opened his sermon with a word of Prayer and invited the renowned artist Musimenta Florence to minister in one song. The inspirational speaker who was interpreted by Ev.Samuel Bakutana begun with a question; why did you give your life to Christ? To this he answered that God chose us and gave us an assignment. REV.DR MEDAD BIRUNGI (HOST) WITH BISHOP NATHAN AHIMBISIBWE (CO-HOST) UGANDAN GOSPEL ARTIST - MUSIMENTA FLORENCE

The Bishop urged people to arise and shine and bear fruit. Basing on the book of Luke 13:6 he said that God commissioned us to make disciples of all nations; when we arise and shine we have to bear fruit or else God will cut us down. As stipulated in the bible Christians should posses love, joy, peace, patience, goodness, faithfulness, meekness and self control, the Bishop insisted. His sermon ended with a quote from the book; Come into your calling. God created you as an original, don t die as a photocopy. LUNCH TIME As soon as the swallow-ship session ended, Dr. Dickson once more came up to teach the word of God; in his opening he remarked that the position you give to God in your life, is the response he gives you. The God you are looking for is where you are, so behave as he is seated with you! He further mentioned that everything you desire is in the word of God. Expounding on the book of Matthew 24:9-14 once more Dr. Dickson said that some things happen so that scriptures can be fulfilled, you believe, confess and then you are saved. He further said that salvation is not self made but the work of God. Dr. Dickson giving various testimonies on how God has prospered him, asked the congregants not to be comfortable with poverty for it is a vice of the devil. The teacher said that when you want something from God make a vow with him and when he answers fulfil the promise. He highlighted that what saved Job from Crisis were the numerous vows he made to God. God must be involved in your business if you want him to bless you. Dr. Dickson wrapped up his sermon asking the assembly to embrace the custom of jotting down their vows with God in small secret books. Saturday afternoon the environment was already promising as the youth were getting ready for the Explosion. Earlier on Friday evening the World Shine Youth led by Barnabas Kiruhura; the youth coordinator had engaged the Rwentobo

youth in a soccer match that ended in favour of the Rwentobo youth for purposes of mobilising them for the youth explosion. At exactly 3:00PM, youth from all corners gathered at convention site to level ground with this event. There was a session of praise and worship led by Abaho Solomon and then a word of Prophecy by Isaac Olowo. The prophecy proclaimed was about the restoration of the land after the enemy s alter was destroyed, God promised to establish his own alter (Prayer Mountain) in the land and then Rwentobo will arise and shine. YOUTH EXPLOSION BEING LED BY THE WORLDSHINE YOUTH MEMBERS

The speaker of the Youth Explosion was Bishop Aloysius Kiiza of the Lift Up Jesus Church who came to the stage and stirred up the congregation in unusual way. He said that we shouldn t be amazed seeing miracles but instead be amazed when there are no miracles. He added that miracles are acts of grace and violation of natural laws. I don t preach what if hear but what I have seen Jesus do. The demeanour of his preaching ushered in a prolonged moment of healing, deliverance and experiencing God s love. BISHOP ALOYSIUS KIIZA AT THE CONVENTION

HEALING AND DELIVERANCE ON THE YOUTH EXPLOSION Sunday 15 th May 2016, was the celebration and worship service; different choirs and teams sung praises to God including the World Shine Foundation School Choir. It is at this point that the Head master of the same school gave a brief about the school and expressed his desire to all the parents in the congregation to bring their children to study from the school for both their spiritual and academic wellbeing.

WORLDSHINE FOUNDATION PRIMARY SCHOOL CHILDREN LEADING THE PRAISE AND WORSHIP After an interlude of praise and worship led by Oliver Akia, Bp. Ogwang Stephen who led the service invited several speakers awarding them fifteen minutes each to give a wrap up message to the convention. The Speakers included Pr. Benedict Musindi from Kenya, Pr. John Fiki from Zambia, Apostle Elywn from Australia, Bishop Simon Kamau of Kenya and Bishop Emmanuel Ntazinda of Kibungo Diocese who closed the Convention officially.

PASTOR JOHN FIKI FROM ZAMBIA HANDING OVER A GIFT TO CONNIE BIRUNGI BISHOP EMMANUEL NTAZINDA FROM RWANDA THE LATE BISHOP FESTO KIVENGERI MEMORIAL LECTURE: REV.DR. MEDAD BIRUNGIBYAYESU Before the official closure of the convention Rev.Dr. Medad BirungiByaYesu the president of World Shine Ministries delivered a memorial lecture on the late Festo Kivengere. Festo Kivengere, referred by many as "the Billy Graham of Africa," was a Ugandan Christian leader who faced the wrath of the brutal dictator Idi Amin. Unlike Janani Luwum, who had been killed by Amin, Kivengere and his family fled the country. He returned after Amin's downfall to continue an active ministry until his death by leukemia in Born in 1919 in a rural setting among the semi-nomadic rural pastoralists of southwest Uganda, Festo Kivengere belonged to a pagan ruling family. He spent his early life as a cattle herder, where he would read children's books about Jesus while herding calves. At about age ten he joined a mission school established in his village and was eventually sent away for higher education, after which he returned to his village as a teacher.

Converted to Christianity during a revival meeting 1940, Kivengere became a pastor and eventually Anglican bishop of Kigezi After study in England and a trip to Australia he was asked to translate into Swahili the sermons of the American evangelist Billy Graham, who developed such confidence in Kivengere that he told him, "Don't bother to translate literally. You know what I mean, get that across." Kivengere and Graham became lifelong friends. The young African evangelist shared the platform with Graham on American revival tours and eventually formed his own African Evangelic Enterprise. His own growth in the church coincided with the increasing excesses of the ruler who has been called "Africa's Hitler," and Kivengere was forced to flee his country. But he was not bitter because of the experience. He wrote a book called I Love Idi Amin in which he wrote, "On the cross, Jesus said, 'Father, forgive them, because they don't know what they are doing.' As evil as Idi Amin was, how can I do less toward him?" Kivengere had met with Idi Amin to voice his opposition to the killing in 1973 of three men from his diocese by a government firing squad on a trumped-up charge: February 10, 1973 began as a sad day for us in Kabale. People were commanded to come to the stadium and witness the execution. Death permeated the atmosphere. A silent crowd of about three thousand was there ready to watch. I had permission from the authorities to speak to the men before they died, and two of my fellow ministers were with me. They brought the men in a truck and unloaded them. They were handcuffed and their feet were chained. The firing squad stood at attention. As we walked into the center of the stadium, I was wondering what to say. How do you give the Gospel to doomed men who are probably seething with rage? We approached them from behind, and as they turned to look at us, what a sight! Their faces were all alight with an unmistakable glow and radiance. Before we could say anything, one of them burst out: "Bishop, thank you for coming! I wanted to tell you. The day I was arrested, in my prison cell, I asked the Lord Jesus to come into my heart. He came in and forgave me all my sins! Heaven is now open, and there is nothing between me and my God! Please tell my wife and children that I am going to be with Jesus. Ask them to accept him into their lives as I did." The other two men told similar stories, excitedly raising their hands, which rattled their handcuffs. I felt that what I needed to do was to talk to the soldiers, not to the condemned. So I translated what the men had said into a language the soldiers understood. The military men were standing there with guns cocked and bewilderment on their faces. They were so dumbfounded that they forgot to put the hoods over the men's faces! The three faced the firing squad standing close together. They looked toward the people and began to wave, handcuffs and all. The people waved back. Then shots were fired, and the three were with Jesus. Festo Meeting Medad During that year Bishop Festo Kivengere went as a guest speaker in the University Mission 1987, by this time Medad was a student of Makerere University where God had most recently visited him on 9 February 1987 in Complex hall. It was a very powerful and life-giving moment that when Bishop Festo preached, Medad was completely immersed in the spirit. In that afternoon, Bishop Festo decided to meet with all born again students who hailed from Kigezi where he was a Bishop and the main concern to address was why they leave

Kigezi born again after high school and when they go to University they disappear in oblivion. It is in this meeting where Bishop Festo called medad and looked him in the eye and said Young man, I am sick and will be dying soon. How I wish that you would raise up and take up the mantle of revival that does not die with us. That word swept through Medad s body like electricity and he started weeping profusely and said, Bishop, I agree to take up your mantle for evangelism and will preach the gospel and keep the revival burning he made a vow to him and to the Lord. Forgiveness, reconciliation, and proclamation were the three cornerstones of Kivengere's ministry, which continued until his death. Uganda, the country with perhaps the largest number of martyrs per square kilometer in Africa, also has one of the densest populations of active witnessing Christians. Conclusion and Acknowledgment. To him that our lives belong, the almighty father, we thank you that your love endures forever even in the darkest moments. We truly acknowledge that without you this success we boast with couldn t have been achieved, we therefore declare our total dependence on to you now and forever. Our warmest and sincere gratefulness goes to you all speakers who forfeited your time to come and be part of the convention, may God richly bless you. Our heartfelt gratitude goes to all you people who contributed food items including animals for meat and all you who reached your pockets and financially supported this convention, we love you may God keep blessing and using you at the same time. And to you our organising teams nothing much we can say that describes the great work you did, you were the engine of the whole event. And to you all our friends, comrades and fellow believers from all the corners of the World who came to congregate with us. Your presence served as a constant source of strength during this time. Our treasured Praise and Worship teams and gospel musicians, you remain the most dependable force for the advancement of the Kingdom. You persistently energised the entire agenda. Our acknowledgment would be incomplete without expressing our deep appreciation for the great contribution by our beloved service providers, your services were excellent and we are so grateful. Thanks for your sacrificial attitude while extending these services to us. To all you our partners And you shall eat in every place, you and your households: for it is for your reward for your service in the Tabernacle of the Congregation. (Numbers 18:31).

Dear friends, partners and sponsors! On behalf of Healing for Nations International Convention and on behalf of World Shine Ministries, am so grateful for your support and trust that you put before and during the convention where we saw thousands congregate, praising and worshiping God, Being ministered to, the sick getting healed, people crossing from darkness to the light of God, those living in the shadows of curses were miraculously delivered, those in deep pain were set free, shadows of sorrow were broken and people were seen jumping and glorifying the Lord, the convention was well planned, special thanks goes to Rev Dr. Medad Birungi and his dear wife for being there as vision bearers working selflessly putting in all what they have for the gospel, may the Lord bless you abundantly and exceedingly beyond what you ask or think. Personally I was highly blessed and this helped me to learn a lot on how to organise better meetings in future, since there were many areas to learn from which I think we shall polish and ensure any mistakes made cannot be repeated. One scholar one time said; "where there is good there is bad". so that there were no mistakes is still undeniable but ladies and gentlemen you will agree with me that in life where there is good there is bad, but as a matter of fact we have to keep working on the weak areas so that we achieve all what we want and with your support and guidance we trust that we shall make it. Our greatest strength that made us get this mighty breakthrough among others was, a well coordinated prayer team, availability of people willing to serve in different capacities voluntarily, the good equipments that we used at the venue, good weather, on the hand some of the weaknesses were that the program was not adhered to as there were many speakers all ready and armed to give the message. The greatest opportunity that there was a team spirit, hardworking members, high level of vigilance, all the speakers were able to deliver the message with a lot of passion to which they were able to get good reception from the congregation. The Lord on our side we promise to have a better Healing for nations international convention 2017, at the same venue running from the 10th-14th, may May God bless you all. Bp. Stephen Omiro Ogwang (Phd) National chairman conventions/ministry coordinator. Compiled by Ivan Twins: I.T & Communications Admin
