4 Church Announcements HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO Olivia Yrineo Dec 25 Mini DeLuna Dec 26 Three-Fold Communion: Please plan to spend New Year s Eve with us as we come together to celebrate Communion in our Three-Fold Communion Service following our morning worship service. We will bring in the New Year with prayer and a shared love for our Savior, Jesus Christ. Pastoral Search Committee: Thank you to all who filled out our Pastoral Search Surveys. They will be extremely helpful to the Pastoral Search Committee in seeking a Shepherd to lead our congregation. Gifts for our Pastoral Staff: If you would like to give a gift to our Pastoral Staff, Tim Lansing (Youth Pastor) or Joey Ramirez (Worship Leader), you may do so by placing your monetary gift in an envelope and dropping it in the morning offering today. They will be presented at the close of today s service. 5 Mary s Great Adventure Imagine for a moment that you ve traveled all the day; you have covered miles of desert as your husband led the way. The night so dark and chilling and you know your time is near; your little one is moving; with God s help you face your fear. Oh, just imagine for a moment this long journey nears an end; you anticipate a place to rest is just around the bend. The lights shine through the darkness as you approach the city wall; but no room is found at any inn; you accept the sheepfold stall. Oh, just imagine if you can the sweet smell of manger hay as you place your weary head down at the waning of this day. God s own son will soon be born here in the darkness and the damp; alone you ll bring the world new life; just a star will be your lamp! phyllis fisher
