Thanks Rob TAMALES We will sell tamales $11 per dozen for pork and $12 per dozen for beef. Tamales are from Desperados Restaurant. For pre-orders and to reserve they can contact me at sean.arrossa@gmail.com. Selling them the second weekend of December on Burrito Sunday. BABY BOTTLE DRIVE: Brothers we still have 800 baby bottles that have not been returned from this years baby bottle drive. Each bottle cost at least $1.00 to replace and that is $1.00 that is not going to support the respect life programs. Spread the word and help us get our bottles returned. Thanks for your help. Let me add that the generosity of the parishioners of SEAS is awesome. NEED TURKEYS: When you are out shopping for your Thanksgiving Turkey please look deals where you can buy a second turkey and bring it to the KC Hall for our use in making dinners for the poor and homeless. 3 UPCOMING EVENTS: November 14th - Friday Friday's for Life Event Mary's Angel's is hosting the event at 7:30PM at Pius Xii Catechetical Center. The Journey from Grief to Healing: When Miscarriage or Stillbirth Rocks Your World. How to navigate life when a joyous event turns into mourning. November 16th - Sunday KC Blood Drive. At KC Hall after Sunday Morning Masses. We will need volunteers after Masses for the two Saturday and Sundays prior to the drive to sign up parishioners to give blood on November 16th. Please consider giving blood you can have a profound effect on a person's life. November 20th - Thursday Council 759 Officers Meeting 7:00PM KC 759 Hall. All Knights in good standing are invited. November 22th - Saturday The next Saturday of Prayer will be at 8:30 AM. We'll be meeting at the Pius XII Center (PCC) (Formation Building), 7:30 AM on Saturday to go as a caravan to at Planned Parenthood in Forth Worth. We seek to defend the unborn until we have secured their right to life, protected in law. Every time we pray in front of an abortion mill we are proclaiming the Gospel of life in a public square. We are also, prayerfully, making an abortionist concerned of us and accountable to God November 23rd - Sunday Knights of Columbus Corporate Communion Mass, 9:00AM Mass.The Knights and their family will attend mass together as a group in the area marked off for the Knights. November 24th - Monday Cook for Beautiful Feet at KC Hall 4:00PM Monday prior to the LAST WEDNESDAY OF THE MONTH. November 27th - Thursday HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!! December 4th - Thursday Monthly Business Meeting Council 759 at KC Hall. Rosary at 6:30, Meeting at 7:00PM December Thursday - Sunday The Men's Advent Silent Retreat at the Jesuit Lake Dallas Montserrat Retreat House is Dec 4-7. Attendees need to RSVP through the Evite to all council members. Also, attendee are asked to bring appetizers or finger foods to share. The GK will provide the Christmas "spirits." Social 5:30PM Dinner 6:30PM December 14th - Sunday Burrito Sunday The council monthly breakfast burrito & sausage sale. Preparation begins at 5:00am Rolling of burritos at 6:30am We sell after all morning Masses. Please come out and help; selling only takes about minutes. Ticket are $65/couple and $35/single. St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish is invited to celebrate the closing of 2014 and welcoming in 2014 with the Robert M. Nolan Council #759 of the Knights of Columbus at the Council Hall. 8 Scripture reading - Jonah 1:1-3 How do you respond to the call of God? Jonah said "no" and then ran away. Imagine that - he tries to run away from God. There is nowhere you can go that God is not there already. How silly we can be in trying to run away from God. Like Jonah, we only end up hurting ourselves. And when we finally stop running, we discover that God is right beside us asking if we're ready to trust him. Are you running from God in any area of your life right now? Most of you know Mike as he is one of the officers at themasses and him and Michelle are members of SEA's. We will have up to 150people including all of the Keller Police department and some from FortWorth. They have requested that we serve the drinks and meals. Richard andlarry will handle the bar. I need an assistant to manage the serving of thefood. We have had a lot of success with the husband wife teams serving andi would like to continue with that. We will need 2 more couples.
