Truly it is exciting to be a part of a ministry that is on the move for Christ. A ministry that has a leadership in place that is determined to teach, preach and live the word of God. Bread of Life is a ministry that has an unconditional love for God s people as well as a genuine concern for the health of their body, mind, and spirit. Throughout 2012 we each endured our own set of trials and tribulations. Each of us stumbled, some of us fell but all of us made it. We made it out stronger, wiser and so determined not to make the same mistakes again. Not to cry tears for that again. Not to repent for that incident again. Many vows of will not, cannot, and am not were made at the end of 2012 and now here we stand at the cup of a new year. It is a new year not just in number, but spiritually it is a time of new beginnings and opportunities for the Believers of Christ. As we embark upon this new path towards our divine destinies we are armed with the Word of God, the Holy Spirit and a fierce determination to go forward towards higher heights and deeper depths in Jesus Christ. For long enough have we allowed doubts and fears to become a dividing barrier in our lives, blocking us from the blessings of God. Too scared to move forward and too afraid to turn back. Wanting to hear from God but to fearful of what He has to say. In the mist, We became our own barriers because we could not forgive ourselves of a past that God had already forgotten. But today my friend, your Bread of Life family proclaim to you that the victory shall be yours. We will pray with you and intercede for you. We will love you until you realize that you are worthy of love. We will praise God beside you until the Holy Spirit in you links up with the Holy Spirit in us and cries Righteous Child of God and rejoices. For we are one in Christ and as one we will press toward the mark of the high calling which is in Christ Jesus. Straining but attaining the higher heights and deeper depths of God. Tearing down walls, breaking barriers determined to be who God called us to be. 2 P A G E 2 Ministerial Moments by Minister Tara Rowlett Finding the will of God I desire to do Your will, O my God; Your law is within my heart. - Psalm 40:8 How would you describe the process by which you find and do God's will in your life? For some, finding God's will is like playing bumper cars. We keep going in one direction until we bump into an obstacle, turn, and go in another direction. It is a constant process of elimination, failure, or success. Is this the way God would have us find His will? No. There is much more relationship between hearing God's voice and living within the mystery of His omnipotence in our lives. Perhaps this process is more like water in a streambed. The water is constantly flowing to a final destination. As it presses against the streambed, it gently points the water toward its final destination. There are no abrupt head-on collisions, simply slight modifications of direction. Occasionally, we come to a sharp turn in the contours of our life. For those times, God allows us to stretch our normal response to change. A popular Bible study says that we cannot go with God and stay where we are. Finding and doing God's will always require change. What changes are necessary in your life to join God in what He is already doing? There is a direct connection between finding and doing God's will and having God's law in our heart. A friend once complained that he did not know what God wanted of him in his life. My immediate response was, "How much time do you spend with God in Bible study, prayer, and meditation on Scripture?" "Only a few minutes a day," he replied. How can we expect to hear and discern God's voice if we don't spend focused time with Him? If you have a spouse, how did you get to know him or her before you were married? You spent time together. You got to know everything about each other. Our walk with God is no different. It isn't enough to have a desire to follow God; we must put our energy into getting to know Him. His will for us flows out of our relationship, it is not an end in itself. Commit yourself to seeking Him more in your life by spending more time with Him. "Call to Me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know"(jer. 33:3)

3 P A G E 3 Inspiration by Sister Carla Bond Breakthrough How many times have you asked, God, I want to do or Lord, I need you to bless me with (you fill in the blank)? When you feel like he doesn t answer your prayer, you get angry at him. Have you ever stopped to think that the reason why those things have not happened is because you are in the way? Maybe the barrier that you are asking God to break isn t the barrier at all the barrier is YOU? What do you mean Carla? I m glad you asked. You want God to bless you with let s say a house for example, and you have been praying, shouting, and fasting for it, but you still don t have it. Instead of continuing to ask God, as if he didn t hear you the first 20 times you asked, take a step back and see if you are the barrier that is stopping your own blessing. God gave all of us two very important things that he intends for us to use on a regular basis sense and free will. You want that house; common sense has to be used so that you are not wasteful with the finances that have already been given and to make good decisions regarding your spending habits, credit, and the free will to pay tithe, as you should. How much time have you spent with him, not asking for anything, but just simply having conversations with him? I believe that sometimes God doesn t answer our every want when we ask him for immediately simply because he knows that is the only way to get some much needed time with you. Think about it like this, would you give your child everything he asks whenever he asks if the only time he speaks to you is when he wants something? Would you give him/her things that you knew they would not appreciate or couldn t handle? I know, I know, just keeping with the house example Why would God not want to give me a house? If he blesses you with the house and for instance you credit score wasn t what it needed to be, would you be wasteful with your money or would you even work to get your credit where it needs to be in order for him to open up more doors for you? If you wouldn t, you just became a barrier for yourself. God blesses us so that we can bless others, but in this case how would you be able to bless anyone if you are not where you need to be. So in essence you just became a barrier for someone else. How much more will you appreciate the blessing if you worked to get and keep your finances, credit, and most importantly your tithe in order and because of your work and faithfulness he blessed you with an even bigger blessing? So in your communications with God regarding your life this year ask Him to show you the areas of your life in which you are a barrier and begin to break through those issues that are hindering you from your blessings. Let God show you, and BREAKTHROUGH!!

As this year comes to a close; your Kings, Fathers, Sons and Brothers would like to extend our year long gratitude to our Queens, Mothers, Daughters and Sisters for your gracious support in our blessed Ministry s efforts of saving souls. Through the devoted and excellent leadership of Pastor and Elect Lady Lewis, we ve stood as witnesses to their vision and the continual blossom of our Ministry s growth. These, in the recent months, are just a few accomplishments of Bread of Life Ministry s work. As a body of Christ, BOLM has given thanks while feeding those in hunger, stood true to embracement while clothing those from the chilling elements and seeded in ourselves as the Lords faithful children. Through BOLM vision, and a constant watchful eye from our Father above, we are a giving Ministry. Again, as your Kings, Fathers, Sons and Brothers we would thank you from the base of our hearts for the warmth you bring us. Thank you Queens, Mothers, Daughters and Sisters for your everlasting support and strengthening encouragement. We love you. May the Lord continue to bless our Leaders and beloved Ministry. *************************************************************** Words of Wisdom By: Minister Brenda Guy Welcome and Happy New Year! I pray blessings on you and your families in the coming year. The theme for this year is Breaking Barriers, which means different things to different people depending on where you are in your walk with Christ. To me a barrier is a strong hold that tries to control you and your actions. However, regardless of where we are in our spiritual walks one thing that remains the same is that Jesus is still the Barrier Breaker. He is the force that allows us to be strong, unmovable and always abounding in the word of the Lord. That is why in 2013 I will allow God to be in control of my every situation for I know that there is nothing to hard for Him. I will stand up and let God know that even in the mist of my present.

5 Ladies Lets Talk Becoming God s True Women By Author Nancy Leigh Demoss P A G E 5 December Ladies Lets Talk meeting was a time of fellowship and celebration prior to the holidays. Elect Lady continues to pour into the women at Bread of Life Ministry as we learn how to Become God s True Women. She does this through fasting, praying and seeking the face of God to ensure that she hears what direction God wants His beautiful daughters to go in. Elect Lady further teaches the women here at Bread of Life Ministry how to give God our Ashes and trade them in for His Beauty. Fasting and praying is the key to seeking our Heavenly Fathers face as we learn to worship at the thorn of God and praise our way to victory. As we continue to read our book Becoming God s True Women and take heed to the teaching and guides from our Elect Lady Lewis, we will become all that God has truly called each and everyone of us to be. *********************************************************** Children of the King Youth Department We are excited to share with you all of the wonderful lessons that Bread of Life Ministry Youth Department have been learning over the past few months. We are very passionate about not only teaching our youth about the word of God, but we also teach them how to explain that scripture and where that scripture is located. Most importantly, we teach them how to apply God s word to their life and even to situations they may face. Let us share with you some of the biblical training that we have been teaching to our youth: The Ten Commandments The Lord s Prayer John 3:16 For we know that Proverbs 22:6 tells us to Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it. (NIV) Here at Bread of Life Ministry, it is our mission to teach and train each and every person how to become disciples for Christ in order to become an effective kingdom builder for God.
