Here is our report for the month of June and July.

1 Thank you for continue prayers, love, and support. May the Lord be glorified for only He is worthy. Here is our report for the month of June and July. We are excited to share some of the things the Lord has blessed us with over these past months. We pray that for all of you had summer mission trips and vacations arrived home safely and are ready for a new school year in the states. God bless!!! We are excited to let you know of two more souls saved by the grace of God. Vinicius and Priscila from Teresopolis decided to obey the gospel of our Lord by their faith. They are cousins. Josue and others started a group study with them on Friday nights, which has grown and moved to Saturday nights to allow more people to come. They have been inviting their friends and relatives and we are excited to see them all hungry for the Word. Ju and I hosted the group as well one Saturday night at our house. Most of the people who are coming are not Christians and the field is ripe. Pray that the Lord continue to work on the hearts and minds of this fertile soil as we continue to sew the seed. (The pictures above show the baptism of Priscila and Vinicius, and the group from Teresopolis that met at our house, (sitting on the stairs and with cold temps), Praise God that the church in Teresopolis is being blessed with new brothers and sisters in Christ!)

We participated in a baby shower in June as well at the house of Marcio and Simone. Marcio works with Adilson, and his wife, Elisangela, is expecting twins.

If you remember, they were the couple that we took of a picture of in one of our prior reports.

We were excited to see the church wanting to reach out and help this couple as well and they were impacted by the love from the brothers.

2 We participated in a baby shower in June as well at the house of Marcio and Simone. Marcio works with Adilson, and his wife, Elisangela, is expecting twins. Marcio and Simone, who have been coming to Agronomia since their move, have been studying with Adilson and Elisangela. If you remember, they were the couple that we took of a picture of in one of our prior reports. Elisangela is very open for the gospel while Adilson is beginning to open up since he comes from a background of spiritism. We were excited to see the church wanting to reach out and help this couple as well and they were impacted by the love from the brothers. Continue praying for her pregnancy and conversion of this sweet couple. Marcio and Simone also opened their house for one of last couple meetings at the end of June. At the baby shower, the Lord opened the opportunity to speak about the importance of family and God s plan for salvation. (The pictures above are from the baby shower and the couple s meeting) We also had in our house in June the monthly women s meeting where Ju spoke about the man who been born since birth. The women enjoyed the time in the word and in fellowship with one another. They also had more than thirty women in the last meeting in July. May God continue to bless this work among the women. The group of women that Ju meets with weekly in prayer and service continues to be a great encouragement for one another and the others the Lord has opened up for them to serve. They have visited many women who have been going through hard times and pray with them and spend time with them. They have visited Carolina, whose husband passed away a couple of months ago in a fire, Claudette, who is in chemotherapy right now being treated for hepatitis C, Michele, who lost her mother recently, Santa, etc., as well as having their time of

opportunity to show a little of the culture of the Northeast part of Brazil here in Porto

The youth also invited their friends and many members came also to our house.

We have four brothers and sisters from the church in the Northeast that are congregating

3 study and prayer. This is a ministry that Ju has been very blessed by and pray that they can continue to be a blessing to all. (The pictures above are from the women that Ju meets with weekly) We also had an opportunity to show a little of the culture of the Northeast part of Brazil here in Porto Alegre. We had a (Festa Caipira) (Hillbilly party) at our house for the youth. The youth also invited their friends and many members came also to our house. The theme was (Sem Joao com Jesus) (Without John, with Jesus). We have four brothers and sisters from the church in the Northeast that are congregating with us now and they enjoyed being able to show their culture. (These are some pictures from the hillbilly day in full costume) We continue to study the Word weekly with people and praying that they will come to faith by Hearing the Word of Christ. We also continue to visit those who are struggling in faith, in life, and to encourage with the Word of God. We ask for your prayers for the church in Agronomia as we are planning an all church retreat at the end of September. We are happy that Alan Nalley, a missionary for many years in Curitiba, accepted the invitation to come and speak at the retreat. The theme of the retreat will be Covenant. The church is very excited

about the upcoming retreat and the couple s for the the couple s retreat in November. This past Sunday we had a co fraternization in Agronomia to invite friends and relatives to hear the Word of God.

This past Sunday we had a co fraternization in Agronomia to invite friends and relatives to hear the Word of God. Praise God that every seat was taken at church and Josue was invited to preach for us this Sunday. He did a great job preaching about the grace of God and how the grace of God calls us to live different than this world. His text was based in Titus Chapter two. I will be Lord willing preaching in Novo Hamburgo this next Sunday and the Sunday after that in Teresopolis in the morning as well. The Lord also opened the opportunity for me to preach in Viamao a couple of weeks ago. The brothers from Viamao send their greetings. Continue praying for them in a time of transition since Rogerio is now in Sao Gabriel and Angelo and his family decided to move to Belo Horizonte, and the recent passing way of our beloved Barbosa. Talking about Barbosa, I am so thankful to God that I had the opportunity to visit him Sunday afternoon along with his family at the hospital before he passed away Sunday night. I thought about waiting to visit on Monday morning, but I am so glad I went Sunday afternoon. His funeral was full of people who have been impacted by his life and Word of God that he always sowed to those around him. He was a true example for everyone. Continue praying for Santa, she is doing well. I am also thankful for the time the youth had with him before he went to be with Christ. We thank you again for your continued prayers, love, and support. We pray that in all that we do that the Lord our God is glorified and to His honor.

We ask you to pray for us that the Lord continue to protect us as a family, that we can be attentive to the opportunities the Lord is giving us, and that the Word continues to be preached and that we

Be praying for us as we plan to visit you on furlough at the end of the year. We are ready to see our friends and family. The girls are ready to see their grandparents.
