1 HEALING: A NON-NEGOTIABLE KENNETH AND GLORIA COPELAND JUNE 4 8, 2018 DAY 1 HEALING IS A PROCESS All healing is a process that comes from God. Words play a vital role in healing. The WORD of God is the most precious and powerful thing on this earth. The cure for unbelief is hearing God s WORD. Keep it in front of your eyes and going into your ears. STUDY IT I. All healing is a process that comes from God. Our bodies were created to heal themselves. God built healing into our natural bodies. o The natural healing of the physical body is a process. o Doctors set a broken bone and expect it to heal. That healing process happens over a period of time. Divine healing is also a process; however, the healing time is faster. o Miraculous healings go through the same process, but the healing time compresses to be instantaneous. The prescription for healing is found in the Bible (Proverbs 4:20-21). o Listen and pay attention to God s WORD. II. Words play a vital role in healing (Psalm 107:20). Words come first, but without hearing, you can t benefit from words. If any man has ears to ear, let him hear (Mark 4:23-25). o When the Bible says man, it s talking about mankind, not gender. o Any person who listens can hear what God is saying. It s our choice to listen or not. o Be cautious about what you hear. The way you hear it is the way it s going to come back to you. He who has ears to hear will get more. When you hear, satan comes immediately to steal God s WORD from your heart (Mark 4:15). III. The WORD of God is the most precious and powerful thing on this earth. Jesus is The WORD incarnate. He is called The WORD (John 1:1).

2 This universe is WORD-created. It was created by The WORD of God, and it is upheld by God s WORD (Hebrews 1:3). Life and death are in the power of words (Proverbs 18:21). That is a spiritual law that won t change. o The words you speak bring life or death. You can improve your life by changing the words you speak. Jesus said God s WORD is a seed that must be received to produce. We deny the devil access to our lives, because we have ears to hear (Mark 4:14-20). Faith in God s WORD comes by hearing His WORD (Romans 10:17). People came to hear Jesus and to be healed (Luke 5:15, 6:17). Jesus didn t heal just anyone. He healed those who were open to receive healing. o Jesus preached: The Spirit of The LORD is upon Me to preach the gospel to the world (Isaiah 61:1). o Their unbelief caused them to miss The WORD and miss their healing (Matthew 13:58). IV. The cure for unbelief is listening to God s WORD. Keep it in front of your eyes and going into your ears. We have the written WORD and many electronic ways to hear it. We also have a relationship with the Holy Spirit who has been sent to teach us all things. Begin to meditate on what God said. Make it personal. Talk to yourself in the mirror, and tell yourself you are healed. Go through the healing scriptures every day. Make God s WORD the final authority in your life. Grace came first, 2,000 years ago. Your salvation and healing come by grace, and they are received and appropriated by faith (Romans 4:16). Don t focus on the symptoms; focus on what God said. Declare that you re healed! Your healing comes from inside you where God is solidifying His WORD in your spirit. Feed your faith with The WORD of God, so that your faith grows before you have symptoms of sickness. Additional scriptures: 1 Peter 2:24; Isaiah 53:4-5; Ephesians 2:8 MAKE IT PERSONAL Meditate each day on 1 Peter 2:24 and Isaiah 53:4-5. Let the Holy Spirit show you in depth what Jesus sacrifice did for you, and how you can receive healing every day!

Receive it, knowing it is God talking to you. Keith Moore has an outstanding book, God s Will to Heal, filled with biblical reasons God wants to heal you. Read them out loud every day. STUDY IT I. It s a good thing to be healed. Bible teachers agree that the No. 1 hindrance to receive healing is to refuse to accept that it is God s will to heal you today. It is God s will for every living thing to be well. He is the Author of well. God has no purpose in you being sick. II. Give attention to God s WORD. Receive it, knowing it is God talking to you (Proverbs 4:20). Your thoughts and your words have to become the same as God s thoughts and words that are found in the Bible. Make what God says the final authority in your life. o Circumstances may look different than God s WORD; but God said things are His way, so circumstances must change to agree with Him! God s WORDs are life to those who seek them, find them, meditate on them and say them; and health to all their flesh (Proverbs 4:22). The WORD of God has not changed. Jesus Christ, The WORD of God, is the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13:8). o The truths in the Bible are the same yesterday, today and forever. III. Keith Moore has an outstanding book, God s Will to Heal, filled with biblical reasons God wants to heal you. Keith Moore spent 17 years at Brother Kenneth E. Hagin s side in Healing School at Rhema Bible Training Center. Brother Moore taught healing for years. o Brother Moore wrote the song, The Glory Is Here. That song came from his experience seeing a woman healed. She had an esophagus problem and hadn t been able to eat solid food in months. When she heard Brother Hagin teach, Brother Moore remembers seeing her reach up and take it. o Later, she came back and gave her testimony.

4 When she heard that she could have healing, she took it. Then she ate two Mexican dinners solid food! She believed what Brother Kenneth E. Hagin was teaching and took her healing as if it belonged to her. IV. Kenneth Copeland reads from Keith Moore s book. God is no respecter of persons; He never changes. God s WORD is God speaking to me. Here are some of the 101 things God said about healing. o Exodus 15:26; Genesis 6:3, 15:15; Job 5:26; Exodus 12:13, 23:25-26; Deuteronomy 7:15, 11:9, 21, 23:5; Nehemiah 13:2. God will prolong the number of your days. God said man s life shall be 120 years. The Israelites said they would die in the wilderness, and they did. God set the limit for disobedient people at 70 or 80 years. o Psalm 90:10; Deuteronomy 28:61; Galatians 3:13; Deuteronomy 33:25; Job 33:24-25; Psalm 30:1-2, 29:11, 41:2-3, 43:5, 91:10. No plague shall come near your house. To languish means to be weak with a long-term sickness. No matter what, don t quit believing God. o Psalm 91:16, 103:3, 107:20, 118:7, 147:3; Proverbs 4:10. God s WORD stops osteoporosis and gets rid of leukemia. o Proverbs 3:8, 4:22, 15:30, 16:24, 17:22; Nehemiah 8:10; Isaiah 32:3-4, 35:5-6, 38:16, 20, 40:29, 31, 41:10, 46:4, 53:4-5, 10, 57:19, 58:8; Jeremiah 30:17, 33:6; Ezekiel 34:16, 37:5, 14, 47:9; Amos 5:4, 6; Malachi 4:2. Here are more reasons God wants to heal. o Matthew 8:3, 17, 8:12; Exodus 15:26; Matthew 14:14, 4:23, 9:29, 10:1; Luke 9:1; Matthew 12:15; Hebrews 13:8; Matthew 14:36, 15:26. MAKE IT PERSONAL It is God s will to heal you from every disease and sickness. That s why He allowed Jesus to be beaten, crucified and sent to punishment to heal you and make you righteous and acceptable to God. Write what your faith expects Jesus to do in you and for you, and on what scripture you base your faith.

Keith Moore s book, God s Will to Heal, gives reasons you can and should be healed. Healing belongs to you, but you have to receive it. STUDY IT I. God s prescription to receive healing is to pay attention to His WORD (Proverbs 4:20-22). Words are always first before healing, because divine healing requires faith; and faith comes by hearing and hearing words The WORD of God (Romans 10:17). o People came to hear Jesus, and then they were healed (Luke 5:15, 6:17). o The WORD is always first. People are saved by the hearing of God s WORD. o The law of attention is vital. We must pay attention to (listen and obey) God s WORD. Jesus said His WORDS are spirit and life (John 6:63). The life of God is the healing force. Jesus came to give us abundant life (John 10:10). God s WORD is life and health to all your flesh (Proverbs 4:22). II. Keith Moore s book, God s Will to Heal, gives reasons you can and should be healed. Brother Moore spent 17 years teaching at Rhema Bible Training Center and saw outstanding miracles. Brother Copeland reads from Brother Moore s book beginning with reason No. 51. o Matthew 8:3, 17, 9:12; Exodus 15:26; Matthew14:14, 4:23, 9:29, 10:1; Luke 9:1; Matthew 12:15; Hebrews 13:8; Matthew 14:36, 15:26; Mark 7:37, 9:23, 11:23-24, 16:18; Luke 4:18; Isaiah 10:27, 61:1; Luke 9:11, 56, 10:19, 13:16; 2 Corinthians 6:2; John 1:4, 6:33, 35; Deuteronomy 30:19. God has done His part; He sent Jesus to the cross. Jesus died and went to hell. After three days, He was raised from the dead and seated in heavenly places. Jesus Name was given to us as a mighty weapon of power to cast out the devil. We have to make the choice; we have to believe we receive. We have to appropriate by faith what grace has already provided.

6 God did His part, but faith has to appropriate it to us individually. As far as God is concerned, Jesus obtained eternal redemption for us with His blood and salvation for every person; but God s gift has to be accepted. Take it by faith. o John 10:10, 11:25, 14:14; Acts 3:16, 4:30, 9:34, 10:38, 19:12; Romans 8:2. God will heal your physical body. This is not just some kind of spiritual healing. The life force of God drives out sickness, disease and spiritual death. The curse is threefold (Galatians 3:13): spiritual death, sickness and poverty Redemption is also threefold: Eternal life (life is translated salvation), healing and deliverance. Healing belongs to the Body of Christ and the world. Jesus is God s gift to the world; the Holy Spirit is God s gift to the Church. o Romans 8:11; 1 Corinthians 6:15, 19-20, 11:29-31, 12:9; 2 Corinthians 4:10-11, 1:10; Ephesians 1:21-22, 6:3; Colossians 1:13; 2 Timothy 4:18; Hebrews 2:9, 14-15, 10:22; Ephesians 5:26; Hebrews 12:12-13; James 5:14-16; 1 Peter 2:24; 2 Peter 1:3; Revelation 22:17; 3 John 2. III. Healing belongs to you, but you have to receive it, take it (Mark 11:24). Repeat the six I s of faith: 1. I believe. 2. I receive. 3. I have it. 4. I take it. 5. I thank God for it. 6. I forgive. MAKE IT PERSONAL Pick out three scriptures that assure you it is God s will for you to be healed. Write them here and say them with confidence every day!

If your symptoms don t change, double the dose of The WORD! Walk in faith, not fear. When God comes into your life, everything changes. You can and should be healed! STUDY IT I. Learn how to receive healing by taking God s biblical prescription. The healing prescription is to attend to and obey God s WORD (Proverbs 4:20-23). o If the symptoms don t change, double the dose! You can t overdose on God s WORD. Healing begins with The WORD of God and ends with us matching our words with His WORD. Our words of fear and doubt can nullify God s WORD in our lives. II. It s impossible to walk in faith and fear at the same time. Fear tolerated is faith contaminated. You must get rid of fear. Love-filled faith casts out fear. Faith works in your life by love (Galatians 5:6). o Perfected love casts out fear (1 John 4:18). o Love casts out fear. You re the one who has to wield the sword, but you don t have to do the work. It s the power of God s love, Jesus and faith in His Name that does the work to cast out fear. Jairus asked Jesus to heal his daughter, and Jesus did! o Jairus servant came and said, Your little daughter is dead (Luke 8:49-50). o Jesus said to Jairus, Fear not, or Stop the fear, believe only, and she will be healed. You can apply those words to yourself Stop the fear. Kenneth Copeland s granddaughter Lyndsey was diagnosed with meningitis. Her mother, Kellie, announced, I refuse to fear! o Lydnsey didn t die. She was healed and grew up, and Brother Copeland performed her wedding just a few months ago. Faith comes by hearing God s WORD (Romans 10:17). You have faith. That s how you got born again. You are saved by grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8).

8 Say, I have faith! Say it strongly! III. When God comes into your life, everything changes. When you got born again, you were made a new creature (2 Corinthians 5:17). Out of your spirit there is a fountain of faith. Activate faith with your words. Don t use fear to express yourself: I m afraid not, I m afraid so, Nothing ever works for me. The devil is a legalist and will accuse you before God for every idle word. Put The WORD in your mouth, and protect your heart with all diligence. III. You can and should be healed! Faith comes by hearing God s WORD (Romans 10:17). A man heard Paul preach the gospel and that healing is available through Jesus Christ; faith came and he was healed (Acts 14:1-10). o Paul said with a loud voice, Stand up! And the man leapt and stood on his feet for the first time in his life. He had never walked before. o No one laid hands on the man. Nobody touched him. It was faith that came by hearing The WORD, and he took his healing! He was ready! o If he had reasoned away what Paul was preaching, he wouldn t have gotten healed. o The man was listening with attention, and he was ready when Paul spoke the miracle. Kenneth Copeland shares there were times when he was preaching and, like Paul, The LORD would point someone out to him who was ready to receive. o Some people sit on the front row in a service; they are serious about receiving. o Sometimes they will step over into the spirit with Brother Copeland, and he sees they are ready to be healed. He speaks The WORD of God, and they receive! Additional scriptures: Galatians 3:13; 1 Corinthians 12:8 MAKE IT PERSONAL Make this confession with us: I refuse fear in any form. I cast it out of my mind, my thoughts, my words and my life! I trust in The LORD, so I am protected from all fear. God is my fortress; I will not be afraid! Thank You, Jesus, for defeating the devil and all fear!

God s prescription for healing is available to you in Texas, in Arkansas or anywhere you are. The rivers of God s revelations are coming together. To be healed you must believe God s WORD, and focus your faith on purpose. Here s the key: The promises of God in Christ are yes and amen. STUDY IT I. This broadcast was recorded in southwest Arkansas, about 2 miles from where Gloria Copeland was born. Not long after Kenneth and Gloria married, her granddad gave them 4 acres of land in southwest Arkansas. The LORD has done wonderful things with this property. o One thing The LORD showed Kenneth was where and how to put in a pond. The county had a water conservation plan, so the project only cost $600. o Gloria Copeland, a woman of faith, wanted a log cabin. o They were driving near their property, and she spotted an old house that they purchased for $500. o Someone had covered it with shiplap, but there were logs under it! o Mr. Wooten moved the old log cabin to their land, and they repaired it to its natural beauty. The Lord has a blessing for you, too! II. God s prescription of healing is available for you (Proverbs 4:20-23). God wants to give you health for your whole body. You just need to keep your heart locked in on His WORD. Protect your heart. Meditate on healing words. In Jesus day, people came to Him to hear The WORD and to be healed (Luke 5:15). The hearing came first. Jesus preaching brought faith to those who were listening. The words of your mouth should be The WORD of God on everything. Don t let your mouth (your words) be disobedient. Speaking God s WORD brings the possession of what you re saying. Believe that what you say will happen. You must say it out loud, out of your mouth.

10 III. The rivers of God s revelations are coming together. John and Carol Arnott pastor the church where the Toronto Outpouring happened. o They had a revelation of accessing the glory of God through praise and worship. Kenneth and Gloria Copeland majored on faith in God s WORD. Both ministries have expanded to include the revelations of the other one. Carol Arnott said, I see it! We believed God s WORD, but we were not speaking The WORD! IV. To be healed you must believe God s WORD, and focus your faith on purpose. Years ago, Brother Copeland had severe flu symptoms. He read in his Bible, By His stripes ye were healed (1 Peter 2:24). Brother Copeland said, LORD, I choose to believe this! He released faith, and he was healed. Let The WORD work by putting it in your mouth. Have the faith of God, or the God kind of faith (Mark 11:22-25). When you were born again, the faith of God was given to you. Whosoever can use the faith of God. Believe that those things you say will happen. V. Here s the key: The promises of God in Christ are yes and amen (2 Corinthians 1:20). Find the promise in God s WORD that pertains to your situation. Believe and speak it as if it s a reality in your life, and you will have it! God s WORD is the answer to your prayer, so put your confidence in His WORD. Nowhere in the Bible is anyone told that they must wait for healing. The only thing Jesus specifically called out as a hindrance to faith is unforgiveness. Healing is yours, now!
