As the momentum and excitement build for the Creation Museum, I wanted to give you a glimpse of what will be in store for people when it finally opens here in the Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati area. The following is a small part of the storyline from which our exhibit designer is working feverishly to design startling exhibits to present vital teaching. We trust this peep hole will enthuse you to pray for this important project. Here are some of the questions the museum will tackle: Where did we come from? Is there any purpose and meaning to life? How did the universe come into existence? What happens to us when we die? We have a problem! We live in the present. but we want to know what happened in the past... What remarkable events occurred to form the Earth? Why did plants and animals come into existence? Where did the sun, moon and stars come from? Who were the first humans? AND Why are there fossils? by Ken Ham, AiG President

Can anyone solve the mystery of the dinosaurs? What formed the different races? Answers in Genesis presents... The true history of the universe! If you want the answers to these and many other questions if you want to see mysteries solved before your very eyes come through the vision gate! Did you know that everyone really wears glasses? You see, whether we are talking about dinosaurs, fossils, animals or stars, the facts are all the same, BUT we understand or interpret these facts depending on the glasses we have been taught to wear. There are only two types of glasses. 1. Secular glasses. These represent the beliefs that fallible humans use to try to explain how and why the universe exists. These beliefs cause us to see these facts in a particular way, to view them through this account of supposed history: The 7 Es of history EVOLUTION the universe began without any supernatural intervention life evolved on Earth by random processes EVIL death, disease, violence and suffering have existed through time EARTH the Earth has been molded by billions of years of processes including laying down of the fossil layers EVERYONE people and languages evolved from an ape-like ancestor ETHICS religion, and ideas of right and wrong, evolved ESCAPE death ends man s existence END the sun will run out life will cease the universe may die. 2. Biblical glasses. These glasses cause people to view the universe through this account of history: The 7 Cs of history CREATION God created everything perfectly at the beginning CORRUPTION the first man rebelled against God (called sin) and corruption (death and disease) entered the universe CATASTROPHE God judged the Earth with a global Flood CONFUSION God gave different languages, causing people groups to form and spread over the Earth CHRIST God, in the person of His Son, stepped into human history to become a man the God-man CROSS Christ died on a cross to save people from their sin, and was raised from the dead CONSUMMATION one day the universe will be remade to be perfect. After you enter the door, you will discover that the Bible s history is the best explanation for the facts. You ll see the facts as they should be seen. It will change your life Come through the time gate! You are about to embark on the greatest adventure of all time, as we go back to the beginning. Did you know that every inch of the 50,000 sq. ft. of space planned for AiG s Creation Museum must be carefully designed with the museum s mission in mind? The mission: to point visitors to Jesus Christ as Creator, Redeemer and Sustainer (the complete statement is at To do so effectively, each display must grab the attention of visitors and convey its message clearly. AiG is blessed to have a museum design director Patrick Marsh who knows how to do just that. In the words of supporter D.K., who manages an art instruction studio and gallery in Florida and is familiar with Patrick s work and reputation, I m so thrilled with the choice of Mr Marsh as the designer of the museum. [he] is a master at grabbing your attention and making you part of the action. From the very moment visitors enter the museum, they will be drawn into the Biblical history of the universe, observing the Creation Week, witnessing what it was like when the world was very good, and seeing the Curse on the world when Adam and Eve chose their own way instead of being obedient to their Creator. The exhibits will walk visitors through major Biblical themes from Genesis to Revelation, providing Artist rendering by Dan Tullius support for the authority of Scripture along the way. It started with a movie & an ice cream ad in the Island Breeze, the island s newsletter. SATURDAY NIGHT AT THE MOVIES! One Blood, a powerful new video, answers questions such as, if we all came from Adam and Eve, how do we explain the different races of people today? Showing at the chapel, Sat., 7 pm. Come and get a free booklet, Where Did the Races Come From? (Free ice cream too!) Donna O Daniel (holding Creation magazine in the photo) is a seabird biologist. She has been burdened to get out the Gospel to her colleagues on this US island, made up of over 1,000 civilians, military personnel and visiting scientists. The video showing went very well! Donna rejoiced. Afterwards, several people sat around eating ice cream, asking questions and discussing the video. * Page 5 In an outstanding Web commentary, Donna challenges all of us to come up with ideas to present the Creation/Gospel message in our own areas. For some of her suggestions, read Be creative for the Creator! at creative_ideas Origins battle heats up in schools! Educators in several states are scrambling to raise the standards that students are expected to achieve in public schools. Science standards, especially those related to biology, are posing a special challenge. The spotlight is now on Ohio. Proevolutionists have squared off against advocates of intelligent design. The issue is whether teachers should be allowed to explain the weaknesses of evolutionary theory and discuss alternative explanations of the facts (e.g. the complexity of life shows intelligent design). While it would be good to guarantee the academic freedom to critique evolution and to discuss alternatives, at the same time we need to be aware of the downside of forcing instructors to teach creation (imagine how unbelieving teachers would distort the position). *Full article: island_outpost *For a more detailed look at the controversy brewing in Ohio, go to

6 Page 6 Answers radio blankets the nation! There s hardly an area in the country now where you can t tune in to hear the Answers with Ken Ham radio program. Praise the Lord, who continues to open the airwaves for His message! AiG recently sent a demo CD to over 1,000 Christian radio stations in the US. AiG also had a wonderful opportunity to pass out demos and make good contacts at the National Religious Broadcasters convention in February. New station signups are pouring in. In just three months, the number of stations carrying Answers with Ken Ham has skyrocketed to over 430, an increase of 90 stations (the newest ones are listed below)! Looking for VBS ideas? Teachers in Vacation Bible School (VBS), for instance, have conducted Creation Week themes, featuring studies about dinosaurs or Noah s Ark. At the end of the week, they have taken up an offering from the children to support the museum. Their dimes and quarters really add up and are very much appreciated! The undisputed winner was the excellent teaching panel below. Accurate science? Dan s first labor of love has been Creation- Wise, a sermon cartoon that appears monthly in this newsletter (p. 3). This funny series has teaching value, too. I m not just interested in getting a laugh, Dan likes to say. I always want a solid Biblical foundation! Curious about the runners up? 9 In the Beginning bears fruit! A year ago, well-known Christian artist William Hallmark decided to sow more seeds for the Lord s work. He allowed prints of his beautiful painting In the Beginning to be offered to partners of AiG s Creation Museum. Mr Hallmark s unique gift is now bearing fruit for God s kingdom. So far over 360 prints have been ordered, helping to raise over $165,000 for the museum! As a missionary in Italy several years ago, John often used creation evangelism to pave the way for presenting the Gospel.
