10 Generosity Thoughts: Stewardship and Christian Vocation April 15: Easter 3 John 10:14 I am the good shepherd. I know my own and my own know me. What does it mean to know the Lord? It starts with being known by the Lord: He claims us as His own and calls us by name. Then, once we are His, we learn to know Him and in knowing Him we learn to imitate Him. 12 School News, Events, and Announcements: Scrip: There will be no scrip order the week of April 23. Bessie Bingo: The Bessie Bingo Festival is quickly approaching! Tickets will be available to purchase in the school or church offices or from any St. John s school family. Tickets are $100 for a chance to win 1st prize of $15,000, 2nd prize is one-year tuition for one child or $3,000, 3rd prize is 1/2 beef processed. The more tickets you purchase the better your chance to win! You do not have to be present to win!! That day we will have food, music, a dunk tank with local celebrities, free face painting and of course Bessie!!! We hope to see you all there! School Job Openings for the school year. St. John s School is now taking applications for: Full-time kindergarten teacher Part-time middle school English, language arts teacher Part-time before/after care teachers (hours vary) 6:30-8:30 am or 3:30-5:30 pm (No resume needed. Please get application from church office.) **You may also put in an application to sub for before and aftercare. Extra help is especially needed on days the school gets out early and we still offer aftercare. Hours would be 12:30-5:30 pm or 2:30-5:30 pm on those days.
