2 VIRTUE: Defined VIRTUE is Moral Excellence (Latin: virtus ; manliness, manhood, virility) A virtue is a trait or quality deemed to be morally excellent and thus is valued as a foundation of principle and good moral being.

8 VIRTUE: Why Teach It? Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy meditate on these things. 9 VIRTUE: Why Teach It? 2) Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, 3) as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, 4) by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. 5) But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, 2 Peter 1: 2-5

Then even if they accuse you of doing wrong, they will see your honorable behavior, and they will give honor to God when he judges the world. For it is God's will that by doing good you should silence the ignorant talk of foolish men. I Peter 2:12, 15

12 VIRTUE: Why Live It? But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. Galatians 5:22-23 The man of integrity walks securely, but he who takes crooked paths will be found out. Proverbs 10:9

16 Self-Discipline (the instruction of Proverbs) for acquiring a disciplined and prudent life, doing what is right and just and fair Proverbs 1:3 But I discipline my body and keep it under control, lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified. 1 Corinthians 9:27 Self-discipline begins with the mastery of your thoughts. 17 Self-Control A man without self-control is like a city broken into and left without walls. Proverbs 25:28 It (the gospel of Christ) teaches us to say "No" to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live selfcontrolled, upright and godly lives in this present age, Titus 2:12 Every athlete exercises self-control in all things. They do it to receive a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable. 1 Corinthians 9:25

23 Godly Self-Esteem For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them. 27 Gratitude - Thankfulness And give thanks for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. 29 Kindness & Compassion Therefore, as God s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.
