1 Token no 10 The Life, not the chemistry August 9, 2015 Brian Kocourek, Pastor This morning we will pick up at paragraph 39 of The Token and begin reading. 39 Notice, for the animal life could not come back upon the human being. We find that in Genesis 1:11, the law of Life or the law of reproduction, "every seed after it's kind". Genesis 1:11 is the Law of Life, which means God set a law in the earth that you are not to mix seeds or seed life to produce altered Life forms. God is the author of Life, but since the garden, man has broken the laws of Life, and introduced Hybrid Life beginning with the serpent producing hybrid life by mixing His seed with Eve's seed. That is why God said to him, 13 And the LORD God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat. The word beguiled was translated from the Hebrew word "Nasha" which means to lead astray, i.e. (mentally) to delude, but (morally)it means to seduce: Notice mentally she listened to His lie, and morally He then seduced her. because seduction is not rape, seduction is a willingness on the part of the person that is seduced. The word Seduce means: 1. to lead astray, or corrupt. 2. to persuade or induce to have sexual intercourse. 3. to lead or draw away, from principles, faith, or allegiance: So Eve listened to the Serpents lie first, and was seduced by his words. That is what took place first, and that led to her moral seduction which when she agreed to have immoral sexual intercourse with the serpent. 14 And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life: Notice that this serpent was an upright creature before the curse. And losing his limbs is a result of the curse. Now, I have heard there are some pretty awful venereal diseases out there, but this one he lost arms and legs. Whew. And notice next what God says to the serpent. 15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. Notice, God said the serpent had a seed. And as part of His curse upon the serpent He said there would be enmity between the serpents seed and the seed of the woman. 1

2 And then listen to the very next thing God says in verse 6 Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee. Now, why would there be a curse upon her conception if she only ate a piece of fruit from some tree. Therefore what Genesis 3 is speaking of, was the hybridization attempt by the beast to hybridize his seed with the woman's seed. And it worked. It produced Cain, who was the seed of the serpent. And his lineage can be traced in Scripture and the attributes and characteristics of that lineage was very different in their nature to the lineage of Seth who was the result of a union between Adam and Eve. Therefore hybridization of seeds and seed life is totally against God's law. That is why GMO food, "Genetically Modified Organisms" are killing the people slowly, because there's no life in it. Or what life it does have is perverted life, and science is finding a lot of diseases are caused in people and animals that eat Genetically Modified foods. In fact the other night I was listening to program on the radio where they were interview the Director of the Institute for Responsible Technology, who is considered the leading spokesman on the health dangers associated with Genetically modified foods. The program discussed the evidence that GMO foods are actually the cause of many health problems in people and animals who consume them. Crops like soybeans, corn, sugar beets and cotton are now primarily genetically modified, and corn and soybeans are the primary food that is fed to animals like cattle, pigs, chickens, etc. And then the products these animals produce like eggs, milk, cheese, butter, and meats are eaten by humans, affecting them and causing many illnesses in the body. The American Academy of Environmental Medicine reviews studies of lab animals that are fed GMO foods and they reported GMO foods are causing problems with the immune, reproductive, and gastrointestinal systems, contributing to organ damage, and these animals that eat GMO foods were aging faster. Among the symptoms associated with GMO consumption in humans are fatigue, allergies, weight problems, infertility, stomach issues, and migraines, and doctors who've prescribed non-gmo foods to their patients say that GMOs cause inflammation and increased allergic responses. One doctor in Chicago said that 100% of her patients get better on non-gmo diets, he cited. Now if eating a diet that consists of Genetically Modified foods can cause all these illnesses, then what about the spiritual application as well. Brother Branham said in his sermon, Knoweth it not P:62 Did you read this month's "Reader's Digest" that men and women of this day, little girls from twenty or twenty-five years old is in menopause; that you go through the change of life in the middle-age of life, according to science, between twenty and twenty-five. It used to be 2

3 around thirty or thirty-five in my age; in my mother's age, a woman never struck menopause till she was forty or forty-five. What is it? It's through science, and the food, the hybrids that's perverted the whole human body till we become a bunch of, a mass of corruption. Well, if the physical being is corrupted, isn't the brain cell in that physical being? And again from his sermon, Christ revealed in His own Word M P:17 Brother Branham said, "My mother and your mother struck that age about forty-five to fifty. My wife struck that age about thirty-five. Now, it's down to twenty. The whole human race is rotten. Well, if them physical beings of our body is tearing down like that from eating hybrid foods, tensions, that rotten it, does not that also rot the brain cell? Then we can see how women can get on the street naked. We can see how they can speed through the streets at a hundred and twenty miles an hour, all these things. It's come to a place where the whole nation, the whole world, not only this nation, but everywhere, mentally gone. And then in his sermon, God's power to transform P:63 brother Branham said, "Now, how the poison has struck the church, struck the earth. Satan's poison upon the seeds, has put cavities in it and caused it to be deformed. More and more he sinks deeper into the hearts of the churches, in the hearts of the people and everything, science, science. Until it's become a place where the human race, by being interbred... I believe "every seed should bring forth of its kind". And the human race, and the plant, and all being interbred, has brought us to a place; in eating our food from the earth, which our bodies is made hybrid; it's put our whole minds... Now, if our bodies are falling from twenty to twenty-five years old, because of degenerated cells by hybrid foods, don't our brain cells degenerate? Isn't that cells also? That's why Ricky runs through the street here with this hot rod; why Ricketta, Elvita's, and many of them, as we'd call name, out here half naked before the people, mentally gone, no more conceptions of decency or morals." Now, in getting back to our study in the Token, brother Branham continues in paragraph 39 by saying, "When the blood was shed, the life went out, of course, 'cause it was a unit. And when the life's blood was gone from it, the life being different from the blood... Now, the blood is the chemistry of the life, but the life is something different from the blood. But the life is in the blood. And the animal life could not come back upon the worshipper. When he shed this blood of the lamb, he had to apply the chemistry, because that the life was gone and could not come back. Because it could not come upon a human being, 'cause the animal life doesn't have a soul. The animal doesn't know that he's naked, and he doesn't realize sin. It knows none. So therefore, it is a living being, but not a living soul. Therefore, that animal life could not come back upon a human life, because it didn't have a soul in that life. In other words, the lamb sacrifice in the Old testament could never produce a genuine son of God life in the person, because the two life's could not mix or God would be breaking His own law against Hybridization. But God demanded the life of a lamb. 3

4 Now, listen, because a lamb is an innocent animal, and God demanded innocence. So God had to bring forth a Son that had the same innocence as an attribute of His own life. So God predestined His Son as a lamb slain before the foundations of the world. O, this is rich. I hope you are getting this. The chemistry would never work. The hybridization of the nature of a lamb with the nature of a human could never work because God's law demands "every seed after it's kind". So God had to send forth a human with the nature of innocence that was required by God, for only that nature would God accept. From his sermon, Satan's eden P:45 brother Branham said, "What if your father told you... And you are a loyal son to your father, and he told you, "Son, don't you go in that water out there, swimming, because there's 'gators in that water."and a fellow comes back and says, "Surely, such pretty water as that, there's no 'gators in it."now, who are you going to listen to? If you're a genuine son, you'll listen to your daddy. And a genuine son or daughter of God takes God's Word first. I don't care what anybody else says about it; they take God's Word first. There's poison in the cup, and they believe it. Having faith in all His Word, His Seed, brought a Eden of holiness, love, and Eternal Life. That's what God's Eden produces: holiness, and it brought an Eden of holiness, of love, understanding, perfection, and Eternal Life. That's what God's planning: His Word, His Seed, that's what His Church will be at the end. It'll be the same thing. Spoken word original seed M P:96 I'm a Branham because I was born of Charlie and Ella Branham. That makes me a Branham because I'm their seed. Their two agreements with their sperm together made a seed, and that made me. When God and His Word becomes one (Hallelujah.) that's when God's Spirit waters the Seed of God, the Word of God, It produces God; and it's not the individual; it's God. For what? you are dead; you're not yourself no more. You reckon yourself dead, hollowed out, waiting for the Seed germ. Then what is it? It isn't you no more; isn't the man; it's God in the man. It's a Seed germ like the beginning spoken Word. God's Word made manifest in the man; then it isn't the man; it's the man that's died. He can't be a hybrid and a son at the same time. He's either a son of death or a son of Life. So if he's a son of death, give it over to the devil and let him kill it. Give over to God a minute and let Him kill the devil that's in you, run him out: hollows you out. Then let God plant His Own Life in you, then it's not you no more; it's God's Life, because it's God's Word, watered by the Holy Spirit will produce the same thing. You see it? Show us the Father P:21 This is what I think about Him. I believe that He is the inexhaustible Fountain of Life, and every seed that falls in there, will certainly produce what it says. God is in His Word. He made promises hundreds of years, and it comes to pass. Everything that He says, it'll produce just what it says. Do you believe God is in His Word? The Bible said, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And the Word was made flesh and dwelled among us." 4

5 Spoken word original seed M P:135 Then the kind of seed you have planted in your field will be the kind of crop you will reap. If the denominations wants more members, that's what they're going to get. That's what they have gotten. The Pentecostals wants more Pentecostals; that's what they're going to get. That's right. But the Word's going to produce sons and daughters of God. Uh-huh, uh-huh. That's coming too. Watch, look at that great latter rain supposed to be done, how they would run over the wall, and leap over, and how they'd be an army coming. Just wait a minute. Uh-huh. The kind of crop you'll get is the kind of seed you put in your field. I will restore A P:35 Jesus said, "Every Word of God is a Seed." Is that right? A sower went forth sowing seed. He said, "I, the Son of man, has sowed the Seed, and the seed's the Word of God." And every time you see this Bible say anything, it's a Seed, and it's absolutely... And we're sowed with the incorruptible Seed of God. And if a man will take any Divine promise of God in his heart and water it with faith, it'll produce just exactly what it said it would do. Amen. Don't care what it is. Just take God's promise in your heart and there... Why I am a holy roller A P:46 Even put it back in the ark, in the destruction of the world. There was the crow and the dove setting on the same roost. One was just as much bird as the other one was. Is that right? But what was it? One was a crow by nature, and the other was a dove by nature. One could fly just like the other one. But their natures, their appetites were different. The crow was satisfied eating the old dead carcasses, and going from place to place, cawing around. He was just as happy and probably as religious as the dove thought he was. But the dove couldn't stand that smell and returned back again. Amen.Many people today think that they're religious and go to church and something and another, and drink and carry on and immoral actions, and still think they're religious. That goes to show what kind of a nature you are. If a man's borned with the Spirit of God he becomes a son of God, a nature of God; and the things of the world dies out, when you do it. That's right. Oh, how wonderful.here a grain of wheat can't do nothing but produce wheat. Its seed, its beginning is a wheat.and we're sowed with the incorruptible Word of God. And if we're sowed with the incorruptible Word of God, and the Holy Spirit watering this seed, it can bring nothing forth but reproduce the life of Jesus Christ in every one of His believers. God help the day that when men and women will be just what they are.so many... I'd rather leave this pulpit this afternoon... If I wasn't a friend of Christ, I'd be an enemy. I'd be against it. And if it's worth believing, it's--and worth testifying of, it's worth living for and dying for. "By grace are you saved." Spoken Word is the original Seed 89 The works that Jesus did--if a man has the Seed of God in him with the Spirit of God watering that Seed, the same works that Jesus--was manifested in Jesus, Him being the original Seed of God, His death brings you back to the original Seed of God, and if the same Spirit that was within Him is in you, then the same works will be manifested. You don't believe that? All right, let's turn over to Saint 5

6 John 14:12.You say, "I'm a believer, Brother Branham. I sure am a believer." All right, I'm going to see if Jesus would call you one, see if the Word of God calls you one... Verily, verily,... (absolutely, absolutely)... I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go to the Father. 90 What is it? (what is what brother Branham? He's talking about John 14;12 that's what. And he says what is it? Speaking of John 14:12, what is it?) Same seed. Can't keep... How can you plant wheat here and wheat here and say, "I'm going to get cucumbers here and wheat here?" You can't do it. The only way you're going to get cucumbers is plant cucumbers. If you hybreed it, then it won't be a cucumber. It'll be a hypocrite. Is that right? It'll be a hypocrite, friends. This... You've got to say it. It isn't neither one. Isn't cucumber or what you bred it with. It's a crossbreed, and it is a bad product, and it's dead in itself, and it can't breed itself back no more. It's dead right there--back, won't go no farther. That finishes it; that's all. But if you want a cucumber, start with a cucumber. If you want a church, start with the Word of God. If you want a Life of God, start with the Word of God. Accept the Word of God in Its fullness, every measure of It. And then that's... And if that is the fullness of God in you, then the rain that's falling will produce exactly what's in your garden. See? Then the works will be manifested in Him are the same, for it is the same Seed Word of God. God's Son was His example Seed. And what His Life was when the Spirit poured upon Him after His baptism and the Holy Ghost come upon Him, the very Life that He produced will--that same watering Spirit of the Holy Ghost will bring forth the same kind of a Life, doing the same thing that He did; if it's the same Seed. Son of God Seed will bring forth a Son of God Seed.... Look, people, we are examining this sermon of brother Branham's on the Token, and he's talking about the very Life that was in Christ being in you. we saw in the Spoken word is the original Seed, the same thing. I do not understand how people can follow this message and not see that. Brother Branham came just as the Son of Man came sowing seeds. Seeds of God's Word, and if you receive that Son of God Seed into you, it has to produce the exact same life as it produced in the Son of God or you haven't received His Seed Life in you. He said Son of God seed will produce Son of God in you. Now, back to the Token, and we will pick up at paragraph 40 "Now, there's a life, a blood, a life, and a soul in the life. The soul is the nature of the life. Therefore it had no certain nature. It was an animal. Therefore, the blood stood for a token that the life had been given. But in this glorious place, under this covenant, there is a difference between the Blood and the Life. The Token for the believer today is the Holy Ghost, not a blood, a chemistry; but it is the Holy Spirit of God. That is the Token that God requires of the church today. God must see this Token. He must see it in every one of us. Therefore, as the evening shadows are appearing, and the wrath is ready to be poured 6

7 out from on high upon the ungodly nations, and upon the ungodly unbelievers, upon the--the professors without a possession, upon these things... And I've tried to unfold myself and live right among it to see where it was standing before I said these things. 41 Now, we are living in the shadows, and the wrath is ready to strike, and God's requiring a Token that you, yourself, have received His Token, the Holy Ghost. It's the only way and the only sign that God will ever pass, because It is the literal Life of Jesus Christ returned back into the believer. The animal life could not return back. Therefore, a blood had to be placed on the door, upon the lintel, upon the post of the door, that every passer-by, the whole public, everybody coming by the house, knew that there was a sign on that door of blood, that a life had died at that door. Amen. Can't you see why John 14:12 is so vital to the believer in this late hour. It is your assurance that the Life of Christ in you has been accepted by God, and God has recognized that the same Life that lived in His son is living in you, then ask what you will, see? Perfect faith E P:38 Jesus had perfect faith. He had it, and it come because He was the Word. And you become the Word; you become the Word, as you receive the Word. "If ye abide in Me, and My Word's in you. My Words (which this Word) abides in you, then ask what you will, and it'll be done for you." See? "And if ye say to this mountain, 'Be moved,' and don't doubt, but believe in what you've said, then you shall have what you said. When you pray, believe that you receive what you ask for, and you shall have it; it'll be given to you." Time, space, nothing else will ever change it. You know it's done. It's already over with. Look P:33 We must focus our lives. Not what somebody else says, but focus our lives to Him, and He is the Word. See? If we get our lives lined with the Word, then the Word and our life becomes the same. He said, "If ye abide in Me, and My Word in you, then ask what you will; it'll be granted to you. Verily I say unto you, If you say to this mountain, 'Be moved,' and don't doubt in your heart, but believe that that what you have said will come to pass; you can have what you have said (Oh, my.), not what I said, what you said." You can have, because you and He become the same, because the mind that was in Christ is in you. And the mind that was in Christ was to fulfill the Father's Word, which He was the Word. There you are. Then you and the Word are focused in together. You become a living unit of God. How great. God in simplicity M P:201 "If ye abide in Me and My words abide in you, then ask what you will; it shall be given to you." Where's the Church standing at? "Let there be frogs," and there wasn't a frog in the country. In a hour's time, they were ten foot deep in places. What was it? It was God, the Creator, hiding Himself in a simple man. I want to ask you something. If the blood of a bull or a goat be used for a bleach, which can only cover, could put a man in position to speak the creative Word of God and bring flies into existence, why would you stumble at the Bleach of Jesus Christ's Blood Who could speak a squirrel or something 7

8 into existence? Don't you do it. Don't stumble over simplicity. Believe that He still remains God. Oh, my. Pardoned of sin... Oh, how I wish I could... Then, Mark 11:22: "If you say to this mountain 'Be moved,' and don't doubt in your heart, but believe that what you said will come to pass (oh), you can have what you said." Three kinds of believers E P:99 "If ye abide in Me and My Word abides in you, then ask what you will." St. John 15. We know that's true. Look. "If ye abide (not in and out, in and out), but if ye abide in Me (and He is the Word) and It abides in you, then just ask what you will and it shall be given unto you." Ye shall have it."he that receiveth My Words, and believeth on Him that sent Me has already passed from death to Life." But can you receive the Word first? Can you receive the Word, all the Word, all of Christ? Christ is the anointed Word, He is the Word, anointed. "Christ" means "the Anointed One, the anointed Word for that day made manifest," the Saviour, the Redeemer. That's when He was to come, and He was that anointed Person to take that place. Why little Bethlehem P:46 "And if ye abide in Me and My Word in you, then ask what you will, it'll be done for you." God promised that. "If you say to this mountain, 'Be moved,' and don't doubt in your heart, but believe that what you said will come to pass, you can have what you said. "He that believeth on Me, the works that I do shall he also. Even greater than this shall he do, for I go to My Father." What promises. Notice, he says, "what promises". O, but brother Branham, we know that those are only for you! We know that because our pastor said so... Huh? He said what promises. Now, look, he said if God could take the faith of Moses which was there but under the chemistry of the blood of a lamb, then how much more when the very life of the Lamb of God, Jesus Christ your elder brother, and His life speaking out from you? What can you expect but what you ask God for. Uncertain sound P:93 It doesn't give an uncertain sound. It gives just exactly what the Bible said it would do, what Jesus said it would do. "Ye abide in Me, and My Word's in you, then ask what you will." Why? You're in Christ by faith, and the Word is in you. That's the Holy Ghost in you, and It is the Word. Then this printed word makes Itself manifest, brings It to life. Sure. Mark 16, after His death, burial, and resurrection, He was commissioning His church. He said, "Go ye into all the world, preach the Gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved, he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe..."no uncertainty. Not maybe they will, they ought to; they shall follow them that believe. Not they'll shake hands with the preacher, and take the kosher every once in a while, and lick out their tongue, the priest drink the wine. Never said nothing about that. It said, "These signs shall follow..."oh, they'll pay their debts, and pay their tithes into the church, and they're good, prosperous people. He never said that. He said, "These signs shall, shall follow them that believe; In My Name shall they cast out devils; they'll speak with new tongues; if they take up serpents or drink deadly things, it won't harm them; if they lay their hands on the sick, they shall recover." Amen. Nothing uncertain about that. It was true. 8

9 Presuming P:20 It's written over in St. John, I think about the 15th chapter, "If ye abide in Me, and My Word in you..." See, the Word abides in you. See? "Then ask what you will, and it'll be done." Because it's not you; it's the Word that's in you. And the Word is God (See?), God in you. God is the Word. "In the beginning was the Word. And the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us."now, in the return of the Holy Spirit bringing the Word in us, and It abiding in there, then it's not you that speaks; it's the Word itself coming out. So, It, the Word will perform the work. Be certain of God P:26 Your own action proves what you are. "By their fruits you shall know them." If a man says that he is a Christian, and he still drinks, and smokes, and gambles, and tells dirty jokes, and says part of the Bible's right and part's not... He might preach the Gospel and deny part of the Bible; he's still a sinner. He's not right yet. But when you openly confess that God is the same God and your life applied in His hands to be, "Lord, I am the clay; Thou art the Potter," then ask what you will. Faith will never move; it'll stand right there. Though circumstances will seem to fall from right and left, but that faith never moves, because you're certain that He's God. And if He's God, He keeps His promise. He can't make a promise and break it. If He's God, He's got to keep His promise. Oh, I love that. He's got to stay with it. Ok, now in closing let's continue to read from the Token pp. 42 That's the way it has to be with every believer today filled with the Holy Ghost, a Token that the shed Blood of the Lamb, that Life that was in the Lamb, has returned back and is publicly sealed in there, that everybody passing by, talking to you, has any associates with you, is seeing that the Blood has been applied, and the Token of the Life that was in that Blood is upon you. You are safe from the wrath. That alone, not membership... No, sir. The animal life could not come upon the believer, because it was an animal, and it only spoke of a conscience showing that there would come a perfect Sacrifice. 43 And now, how could there be a more perfect Sacrifice than God Himself becoming the Atonement Himself? When God was made flesh and His Own creative Blood that it-- only way that a Life of God could ever come back, because all of us was born by sex. And therefore, the life that's in there is of the world, and that life will not stand. It's a thing that is already judged and condemned. You can't patch it up. There's no way to patch it. There's no way to smooth it out. There's no way to make it better. It's got to die. That's the only requirement there is. It's got to die, and the substitute, a Life of Jesus Christ has to come into you, which is the Holy Ghost, God's Token, that you have accepted the Blood of His Son, Jesus Christ. Therefore, in the days of Wesley, or the days of Luther, it was thought to believe, in the days of Wesley, the chemistry of the blood. But this is the last day where the Token is required. That makes together the whole unit for the rapture. You see it? 44 Water, blood and spirit come when a mother gives birth to the baby. The first thing breaks in a normal birth is a water; the second thing is a blood; and the next thing is life. There come from the body of our Lord Jesus Christ, water, blood and life. And the whole 9

10 church, the Bride, together has been made up through justification, sanctification, and the baptism of the Holy Ghost, which is the Token. 45 As Hebrews 11 says, "All these who wandered about in sheepskins, and goatskins, and was destitute, and all these things that they done, yet was not made perfect without us."and the church in this day that's received the Token of the baptism of the Holy Spirit, that the Blood has been shed, and that the Holy Ghost is upon the church. Without us then they could not raise, but they're depending on us. For God promised He would have it, and somebody's going to be there. I don't know who it's going to be, but somebody's going to receive it. Let us pray... 10
