Epistles To The 21 ST Century Church The 21 st Century Church is perhaps in one of her most sensitive periods. Daily we are bombarded with new theological arguments on various subjects in the church. On any given day there are new arguments on eschatology, giving and generosity, fivefold ministry etc. Outside of the theological and doctrinal arguments of the Church we also dealing on a daily basis with the emergence of so called false prophets, false apostles and the Believers are in panic mode because the veil between true and false is so thin. It is on the premise of this that this book Epistles to the 21 st Century Church is written. These epistles try to establish a biblical position on several matters currently plaguing the Church and also seek to bring new momentum and strength to the things that are working in the 21 st Century Church. The Church of Jesus in the earth is in no ways in a defeated position, the church is advancing strong but from to time the Church needs a fresh perspective on current issues. This book seeks to bring such clarity to this generation of Believers. 2. SEPARATING DANIEL'S 70TH WEEK FROM HIS OTHER 69 WEEKS, INSERTING A TIME GAP OF INDETERMINATABLE LENGTH AND CALLING IT A FUTURE, 7-YEAR TRIBULATION PERIOD. Daniel's 70 Weeks of years [490 years] were literally, perfectly and sequentially fulfilled, within the time frame of his four world empires. Its starting point was the Decree of Artaxerxes in 457 B.C.. Its finishing point was in 34 A.D., when the time determined exclusively upon the Jews was over and the gospel was free to go to the Gentiles. There is no Scriptural warrant or precedent for inserting a gap of any kind or duration. 3. CLAIMING THE "THIS GENERATION" IN JESUS' OLIVET DISCOURSE, WHICH WOULD EXPERIENCE EVERYTHING HE DESCRIBED, MEANS SOME OTHER, YET-FUTURE GENERATION. In both its prologue and epilogue, it states, concerning the whole of its prophecy, that it was: "at hand," "obeyable" and, finally, "not to be sealed up." SPINNING OFF ATTRIBUTES OF DANIEL'S FOURTH WORLD EMPIRE, INSERTING A TIME GAP AND CALLING IT A FIFTH WORLD EMPIRE...A YET-TO-COME, "REVIVED ROMAN EMPIRE." The source of almost all endtimes error is in the failure of interpreters to recognize the significance of the historical events surrounding the predicted destruction of Jerusalem, the Jewish temple and biblical Judaism in 70 A.D....the real Endtimes. 7. LIMITING THE COMINGS OF JESUS TO ONLY TWO, OR THREE. The popular use of so-called "Second Coming" terminology has conditioned us to a flawed, two-advent mindset. Not only is this not the terminology of Scripture, it's not its pattern or concept, either. The many comings of Jesus run like a thread through both the Old and New Testaments. Many different and varied types of His comings are also promised. Remember, "hope deferred makes the heart [the Church] sick" (Proverbs 13:12). 8. POSTPONING ALL OR PART OF THE COMING [I.E. CONSUMMATION] OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD. Daniel prophesied the coming of ONLY ONE, everlasting Kingdom of God. It was to take place in the days of the fourth world empire [the Roman empire]. That Kingdom is THE Kingdom which John the Baptist and Jesus proclaimed as "at hand." What's more, Jesus' coming in power and glory consummated that Kingdom when the old Judaic system was completely destroyed. All this occurred exactly as and when Jesus said-- within the lifetime of those then living (Matthew 10:23; 16:28; 24:30-34; 26:64). Scripture is precise in its use of time statements. For 1st Century Believers, not being able to know the "day or hour" was no excuse. Jesus emphatically warned "when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies...get out" (Luke 21:20-21 But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation is near. 21 Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those who are in the midst of her depart, and let not those who are in the country enter her.). Armies surrounded Jerusalem four times in 66, 67, 68 and, lastly, in 70 A.D... Those who read this sign and acted in time, escaped. Those who didn't, or wouldn't, suffered the wrath of God's judgment at this particular, time-restricted and end-of-the-age coming of Jesus. 10. SUBSCRIBING TO A PAGAN, "END-OF-THE-WORLD" PARADIGM. Do you know what the Bible says about an "end of the world?" NOTHING. What do the historic creeds say? Again, NOTHING. What the Bible actually says is: o World without end, Amen Ephesians 3:21 Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen. CONCEDING BY DEFAULT THAT ALL 1ST CENTURY IMMINENCY EXPECTATIONS OF THE NEW TESTAMENT WRITERS, THE EARLY CHURCH BELIEVERS AND JESUS HIMSELF PROVED FALSE. The relatively new teaching of a "rapture-removal" from planet Earth is a distortion of key Scriptures historically interpreted to refer to a general resurrection. Jesus specifically prayed against the human weakness for removal (John 17:15 I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one.). And His prayer is still in effect. It is our prayer that as we launch into this new year, the ultimate before stepping into 2020; that this brief teaching would inspire some of you to take a deeper look into the Word of God. There is so much that we could gain from His Word once we study it correctly. That is from the position of understanding audience relevancy that it must have its greatest relevance to those that actually heard it spoken. Prayer Focus 1. Pray for our leaders of Canada to have courage and integrity to stand for what is right. Pray that they would humble themselves and ask God for wisdom to make wise decisions.

Pray that the Spirit of the Lord would surely move strong upon the hearts of those in power.

The entire world is watching the USA and as such we must continue to stand with our brothers and sister in that nation asking that we see a return to good sense and that righteousness might prevail.

6 Prayer Focus 1. Pray for our leaders of Canada to have courage and integrity to stand for what is right. Pray that they would humble themselves and ask God for wisdom to make wise decisions. Pray that righteous standards would be upheld in our nation. 2. Let us remember the United States in our time of prayer. Pray that the Spirit of the Lord would surely move strong upon the hearts of those in power. That we will see and experience such radical change that would bring glory and honour to the Name of the Lord. The entire world is watching the USA and as such we must continue to stand with our brothers and sister in that nation asking that we see a return to good sense and that righteousness might prevail. And while change is inevitable, let us prayer for good change! 3. Pray strongly over the Church of Jesus Christ that she will continue to grow strong and remain resilient in this hour! Pray for leaders of the Church everywhere; that God s Spirit would continue to have His way and that growth would be very evident. Let us wage some significant warfare against all deceptive moves to see the Church become compromised. This is the hour for the Church to rise to new heights and to demonstrate the Wisdom of God in significant ways. Let us resolutely pray towards this end! Jesus Christ The Apostle And High Priest Perhaps the idea of Jesus as Apostle is one that is foreign to you. But the writer of the Book of Hebrews declares to us that Jesus Christ is the Apostle and High Priest of our Profession according to Hebrews 3:1 There is a dimension to the apostolic nature of Jesus Christ that I would like to capture in Jesus one-on-one encounters with several people during the time He walked the face of the earth and functioned as Apostle. We will examine at length the methods and ways Jesus used in His Apostolic anointing and we will learn how to appropriate them for ourselves so that we too can be equipped to function as Jesus functioned. The apostolic is not just in words and revelation knowledge, but it is also in demonstration and power. And no one demonstrated and walked in both dimensions as The Apostle and High Priest of our Profession the Lord Jesus Christ! 4. Pastor John Kaptien and The King s Way Church community is asking for prayer as they were asked to pay an increase of $600 for their ministry meeting place. He revealed: that as of right now we cannot afford that. So we may propose continuing at our present rental rate and seek to give them a tax credit of $600 per month.
