Why God Created The Universe
God Created Everything! Genesis 1:1 In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. Revelation 4: 11 Worthy are you, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they existed and were created.
By His Word of Command Psalm 33:6-9 By the word of the LORD the heavens were made, and by the breath of His mouth all their host. He gathers the waters of the sea as a heap; he puts the deeps in storehouses. Let all the earth fear the LORD; let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him! For He spoke, and it came to be; He commanded, and it stood firm.
For His Son Colossians 1:15-17 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by Him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities all things were created through Him and for Him. 17 And He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.
For An Inheritance Hebrews 1:1-2 Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom He appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world.
For The Co-Heirs Romans 8: For you did not receive a spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry out, Abba, Father! 16 The Spirit Himself testifies together with our spirit that we are God s children, 17 and if children, also heirs heirs of God and coheirs with Christ seeing that we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him.
For Liberation Romans 8:18-22 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is going to be revealed to us. 19 For the creation eagerly waits with anticipation for God s sons to be revealed. 20 For the creation was subjected to futility not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in the hope 21 that the creation itself will also be set free from the bondage of corruption into the glorious freedom of God s children. 22 For we know that the whole creation has been groaning together with labor pains until now.
For Reconciliation Colossians1:18-20 He is also the head of the body, the church; He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He might come to have first place in everything. For God was pleased to have all His fullness dwell in Him, and through Him to reconcile everything to Himself by making peace through the blood of His cross whether things on earth or things in heaven.
To Be Inhabited Isaiah 45: 18 For this is what the LORD says God is the Creator of the heavens. He formed the earth and made it. He established it; He did not create it to be empty, but formed it to be inhabited I am Yahweh, and there is no other.
For The Sons of God Hebrews 2:10-13 For it was fitting that He, for whom and by whom all things exist, in bringing many sons to glory, should make the founder of their salvation perfect through suffering. 11 For He who sanctifies and those who are sanctified all have one source. That is why He is not ashamed to call them brothers, 12 saying, I will tell of your name to my brothers; in the midst of the congregation I will sing your praise. 13 And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold, I and the children God has given me.
For Abraham Romans 4:13 For the promise to Abraham or to his descendants that he would inherit the world was not through the law, but through the righteousness that comes by faith.
For Us Colossians 1:12 giving thanks to the Father, who has enabled you to share in the saints inheritance in the light. Hebrews 1:14 Are they not all ministering spirits sent out to serve those who are going to inherit salvation?
For Us Peter 1:3-5 Praise the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. According to His great mercy, He has given us a new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead 4 and into an inheritance that is imperishable, uncorrupted, and unfading, kept in heaven for you. 5 You are being protected by God s power through faith for a salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time.
For The Overcomers Revelation 21:5-7 Then the One seated on the throne said, Look! I am making everything new. He also said, Write, because these words are faithful and true. And He said to me, It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give water as a gift to the thirsty from the spring of life. The victor will inherit these things, and I will be his God, and he will be My son.
To Give Us All Things 1 Corinthians 3:21-23 So let no one boast in men. For all things are yours, whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas or the world or life or death or the present or the future all are yours, and you are Christ's, and Christ is God's. Romans 8:31,32 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will He not also with Him graciously give us all things?
Flourishing Ecosystems Flourishing communities and ecosystems are the goal of God s Creation from Eden to Israel, to the Church, to the Millennium, and the New Jerusalem. Communities full of life, goodness, Shalom, harmony, love, joy and abundance. Our purpose is to build and maintain flourishing ecosystems throughout the Universe.
According To His Plan Ephesians 1:11-14 In Him we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will, so that we who were the first to hope in Christ might be to the praise of His glory. In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in Him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it, to the praise of His glory.
