There are many who have never had an opportunity to hear the special truths for this time. The obligation of the fourth commandment has never been set before them in its true light. He who reads every heart and tries every motive will leave none who desire a knowledge of the truth, to be deceived as to the issues of the controversy. The decree is not to be urged upon the people blindly. Everyone is to have sufficient light to make his decision intelligently. [Dear Jesus loves every one of the dear people so much that He died for them. He wants them to be happy in heaven forever.] When the final test shall be brought to bear upon men, then the line of distinction will be drawn between those who serve God and those who serve Him not... While one class receive the mark of the beast, the other, choosing the token of allegiance to divine authority, receive the seal of God. GC 604,605.

5 5 Faith: Rev. 13:15-17 reveals that after the devil s Sunday law, and later, after probation has closed, the plagues will fall, and they will seek to put God s dear people to death. What will make them powerless to do it? Pastor Jan: Watch closely - As Jesus spoke in the temple court, the people were held spellbound. The very men who were the most violent against Him felt themselves powerless to do Him harm. Day after day He taught the people, until the last, that great day of the feast. The morning of this day found the people wearied from the long season of festivity. Suddenly Jesus lifted up His voice, in tones that rang through the courts of the temple: If any man thirst, let him come unto Me, and drink. He Hope thou in God, for on Calvary's cross a complete sacrifice was offered for you... Eternal joy a life of undimmed happiness awaits the one who surrenders all to Christ. HP 262. When at the foot of the cross the sinner looks up to the One who died to save him, he may rejoice with fulness of joy; for his sins are pardoned. SD 222. Praise God friend! Praise God! that believeth on Me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. The condition of the people made this appeal very forcible. They had been engaged in a continued scene of pomp and festivity, their eyes had been dazzled with light and color, and their ears regaled with the richest music; but there had been nothing in all this round of ceremonies to meet the wants of the spirit, nothing to satisfy the thirst of the soul... Jesus invited them to come and drink of the fountain of life, of that which would be in them a well of water, springing up unto everlasting life. The priest had that morning performed the ceremony which commemorated the smiting of the rock in the wilderness. That rock Just looking at them makes you relax. How can I have this perfect peace? Faith: Here it is - Whoever consents to 1) renounce sin and 2) open his heart to the love of Christ, becomes a partaker of this heavenly peace. [Praise God!] There is no other ground of peace than this. The grace of Christ received into the heart, subdues enmity... and fills the soul with love. He who is at peace with God and his fellow men cannot be made miserable. Envy will not be in his heart; evil surmisings will find no room there; hatred cannot exist. The heart that is in harmony with God is a partaker of the peace of heaven, and will diffuse its blessed influence on all around. Thoughts From the Mount of Blessing, pp. 27,28. Praise God! was a symbol of Him who by His death would cause living streams of salvation to flow to all who are athirst. Christ s words were the water of life. There in the presence of the assembled multitude He set Himself apart to be smitten, that the water of life might flow to the world.
