1 Eucharistic Prayer Group for Peace and Unity Opening Remarks November 12, 2017 Are We Ready for the Illumination? (Compiled by Michael T. Sullivan, MD) (Opening Remarks at Prayer Group excerpted from this compilation) (Shaded areas were spoken during the Opening Remarks) Part 1: When were we told? For it is time for the judgment to begin with the household of God. If it begins with us, how will it end for those who fail to obey the gospel of God?... (1 Pet 4:17) As I look out over this small group of the faithful the faithful remnant, I would guess that almost all of you would have some sense of what I mean by the words of the prophesied Illumination of the Conscience/Soul or the Warning. However, I would also guess that only a very small percentage of those attending today s Sunday services in Catholic and all Christian Churches throughout the world would know what these terms mean. And probably almost none of the 70% of self-proclaimed Catholics in the US who do not even attend Sunday Mass would be familiar with these terms. And most likely none of the non-christians throughout the world would be aware of this most important gift of God s Mercy to humanity since the Birth, Passion, Death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ. WHY NOT? 1

2 Although these events were most explicitly brought to the attention of the Marian world and the Catholic Church through the alleged apparitions of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in Garabandal, Spain, from (2000 apparitions), this worldwide illumination of consciences was actually foretold long before then and in most all of the alleged Catholic private revelation all over the world since then. So, the framework has been laid and the precedent set even as far back as in Old Testament times. OT The Lord God through the Ezekiel to the Israelites in captivity: Then you will remember your evil ways and wicked deeds, and you will loathe yourselves for your sins and detestable practices.be ashamed and disgrace for your conduct, O house of Israel! (Ezek 36:31-32) NT Our Lord to His Apostles: But because I have spoken these things to you, sorrow hath filled your heart. But I tell you the truth: it is expedient to you that I go: for if I go not, the Paraclete will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you. And when he is come, he will convict the world of sin, and of justice, and of judgment. Of sin: because they believed not in me. And of justice: because I go to the Father; and you shall see me no longer. (Jn 16: 6-10) St. Paul The Warning is like the conversion of St. Paul who was penetrated by the Light that we will endure during the Illumination of each of our souls: 2

3 3 On his journey, as he (Paul) was nearing Damascus, a light from the sky suddenly flashed around him. 4 He fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to him, Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me? 5 He said, Who are you, sir? The reply came, I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. 6 Now get up and go into the city and you will be told what you must do. (Acts 9:3-6) The grace once granted to an individual has finally penetrated every heart in a single, sudden burst of Divine Light. Bible The Book of Revelation: The Sixth Seal Behold, He is coming amid the clouds, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him. All the peoples of the earth will lament Him. (Rev 1:7) 12 [k] Then I watched while he broke open the sixth seal, and there was a great earthquake; the sun turned as black as dark sackcloth [l] and the whole moon became like blood. 13 The stars in the sky fell to the earth like unripe figs [m] shaken loose from the tree in a strong wind. 14 Then the sky was divided [n] like a torn scroll curling up, and every mountain and island was moved from its place. 15 The kings of the earth, the nobles, [o] the military officers, the rich, the powerful, and every slave and free person hid themselves in caves and among mountain crags. 16 They cried out to the mountains and the rocks, Fall on us and hide us from the face of the one who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb, 17 because the great day of their [p] wrath has come and who can withstand it? (Rev 6:12-17) St. Edmond Campion ( ) (during Protestant Reformation) 3

4 Called by some as the first martyr of the Warning, St. Edmund Campion was a 16 th century Jesuit priest and Martyr from England who was tried and convicted for treason by performing Roman Catholic Masses under the rule of Queen Elizabeth in England where only Anglican mass was allowed At his trial Edmond Campion stated: I pronounced a great day, not wherein any temporal potentate should muster, but wherein the terrible Judge should reveal all men s consciences, and try every man of each kind of religion. This is the day of change, this is the Great Day which I threatened, comfortable to the well being and terrible to all heretics. (1581+) Blessed Anna Maria Taigi ( ) "Blessed Anna Maria Taigi was a married Italian Catholic professed member from the Secular Trinitarians. From the time she was 20 years old, until she died at the age of 63, she was accompanied by a mysterious light in which she saw past, present and future events...some relating to struggles among nations; some relating to individual souls. Blessed Anna Maria gazed into that light only when she felt an interior impulse...a sort of direction from Our Lord and the Holy Spirit...to do so. And usually when she looked into that light she was asked to offer some special suffering for a special need in the Church or in an individual. In that light Anna Maria saw a great chastisement coming upon the world in the future...but at the same time a great blessing: 'The Warning' which would be an illumination of the consciences of men, just as though suddenly every man was given the same kind of light that accompanied her...in which they would see themselves as God sees them. She indicated that this illumination of conscience would result in the saving of many souls because many would repent as a result of this 'Warning'...this miracle of 'self-illumination.' 4

Fatima, Portugal July 13, 2017 The second part The warning of the chastisement and how to avoid it: The children then looked up at Our Lady, who said to them so kindly and so sadly: You have seen hell where the souls of poor sinners go. To save them, God wishes to establish in the world devotion to my Immaculate Heart. If what I say to you is done, many souls will be saved and there will be peace. The war is going to end: but if people do not cease offending God, a worse one will break out during the Pontificate of Pius XI. When you see a night illumined by an unknown light, know that this is the great sign given you by God that He is about to punish the world for its crimes, by means of war, famine, and persecutions of the Church and of the Holy Father. To prevent this, I shall come to ask for the consecration of Russia to my Immaculate Heart, and the Communion of reparation on the First Saturdays. If my requests are heeded, Russia will be converted, and there will be peace; if not, she will spread her errors throughout the world, causing wars and persecutions of the Church. The good will be martyred; the Holy Father will have much to suffer; various nations will be annihilated. Finally, my Immaculate Heart will triumph. The Holy Father will consecrate Russia to me, and she shall be converted, and a period of peace will be granted to the world. In Portugal, the dogma of the faith will always be preserved, etc.... St. Faustina Kowalska God s Apostle of Divine Mercy St. Faustina, a Polish nun, ( ) who proclaimed to the world that we are living in a prolonged time of mercy based on revelations given to her directly by Jesus, may have witnessed in a vision the actual event: Before I come as the just Judge, I am coming first as the King of Mercy. Before the day of justice arrives, there will be given to people a sign in the heavens of this sort: All light in the heavens will be extinguished, and there will be great darkness over the whole earth. Then the sign of the cross will be seen in the sky, and from the openings where the hands and the feet of the Savior were nailed will come forth great lights which will light 5

6 up the earth for a period of time. This will take place shortly before the last day. On a later occasion Our Lady appeared to St Faustina and said the following words: I gave the Saviour to the world. As for you, you have to speak to the world about His great mercy and prepare the world for the Second Coming of Him who will come, not as a merciful saviour, but as a just Judge. O how terrible is that day! Determined is the day of justice, the day of divine wrath. The angels tremble before it. Speak to souls about this great mercy while it is still time for mercy. If you keep silent now, you will be answering for a great number of souls on that terrible day. Garabandal, Spain, ( ) Situated in the Cantabrian Mountains of northwest Spain lies San Sebastian de Garabandal, a tiny village of about 300 people. For centuries the people of this humble and remote village have gathered together daily for the recitation of the rosary and litanies of the Blessed Virgin Mary. It was here that on the evening of June 18, 1961, the Archangel Michael appeared to four young girls: Conchita Gonzalez (age twelve), Jacinta Gonzalez (age twelve), Mari Cruz Gonzalez (age eleven), none of whom are closely related, and Mari Loli Mazon (age twelve). He made eight silent appearances during the following twelve days. Then, on July 1, the angel finally spoke to announce that on the following day the Blessed Virgin Mary would appear to them as Our Lady of Mount Carmel. The Warning Conchita wrote: "The warning comes directly from God and will be visible to the whole world and from any place where anyone many happen to be. It will be like the revelation of our sins and it will be seen and felt by everyone, believer and unbeliever alike irrespective of whatever religion he may belong to. It will be seen and felt in all parts of the world and by every person." 6

7 It will happen in the sky, no one can prevent it from happening. We will even prefer to be dead rather than to pass through this Warning It will not kill us. It will be a "correction" of our conscience. It will cause great fear and will make us reflect within ourselves on the consequences of our own personal sins. It will be like a warning of the punishment to come. In this way the world will be offered a means of purification to prepare itself for the extraordinary grace of the Great Miracle. Jacinta was told by Our Blessed Mother "that the warning would come when conditions were at their worst." The date was not revealed to the visionaries, however Mari-Loli does know the year; and she said that The Miracle will happen within one year after The Warning. Mari-Loli died in Servant of God, Maria Esperanza ( ) Maria Esperanza was a Venezuelan mystic with many alleged visitations and messages of reconciliation and love from Our Lady of Betania (Venezuela). Many have been approved by the Church and her case for beatification/canonization was opened in She also had referred to the Warning numerous times: The consciences of this beloved people must be violently shaken so that they may put their house in order A great moment is approaching, a great day of light it is the hour of decision for mankind. (Maria Esperanza) To the Priests, Our Beloved Sons Our Lady to Father Stefano Gobbi, #383, Pentecost Sunday, 1988 The Holy Spirit will come to establish the glorious reign of Christ, and it will be a reign of grace, of holiness, of love of justice and of peace. With His Divine Love, He will open the doors of hearts and 7

8 illuminate all consciences. Every person will see himself in the burning fire of Divine Truth. It will be like a judgment in miniature. And then Jesus Christ will bring His glorious reign in the world. (383) (Eucharist Reign of the Child Jesus through the Era of Peace.) Jesus of Mercy, USA, Here in the United States both Our Lord and Our Lady provided Lessons and Messages, respectively, that dealt with the Warning, the Illumination of the Soul through an American seer: The time will come when I, the Lord of all lords and Master of all masters, shall come to examine the consciences of mankind; to bring to Light the hidden darkness and to silence all arguments. I tell you that those who love Me entirely will learn the Divine Truth. For you, a certain person of My Divine Mercy, have learned Divine things and speak wonders because you love Me entirely. (JOM, 13, 1990) I tell you to be devoted to Me and seek My acceptance, not the acceptance created by the standards of mankind. I tell you this because the day is coming when the Son of Man will give you a warning of the bitterness of chastisement, where each man and woman across the world will see the judgment of themselves. The day is coming, and it is coming soon, when the chastisement set forth from My Father cannot be escaped, but can be mitigated through prayer and devotion to Me. Begin now. Love yourself now. Be free now. Do not wait or it will be too late. (JOM, Nov. 24, 1991) The Son of Man is coming to verify the past truths and to collect His chosen ones. The time will come when all will experience the state of their soul. All will have to look within. It cannot be escaped. There, where the Peace of salvation exists, will freedom and protection lie. (JOM, June 27, 1992) My servants may suffer, but their suffering is united to Mine and is redemptive. In time every man, woman and child shall know the Truth of My Love. They will see the truth of the world as it is and 8

9 what they have missed from postponing prayer and service through love. By seeking self-gain in the world, they will see what they have depleted from their souls through the loss of treasures in Heaven. (JOM, Nov, 2,1995)_ Our Lady in the USA, 1992 & 1996 My Son is tired, very tired. The faith in God is forgotten. The time is coming when every man and woman on this earth will know that God exists. All will have a glimpse of the state of their souls. Those seconds will seem like eternity. Your love of gold and silver is about to become glittering dust and be swept away. (Our Lady, Aug 27, 1992) Do not wait until God's "warning" strikes the souls of every person in this world for it will be very difficult to respond and change. Please respond now to God's call. There will not be much time after God's "warning" for the fire of purification to befall you. Some events are inevitable. Pray with all your hearts that you will be able to persevere in your faith and not turn from God. Receive the sacraments while they are available. (Our Lady, May ) Yes, and in so many alleged messengers and seers from all over the world over the last 20 years, is this private revelation being delivered, ignored, diluted and dismissed. Yes, as we are often told from the pulpit: We need to be prepared at all times to see God face to face, for we know not the day nor the hour. But if that canned homily was effective and enough, then why would have God the Father, Jesus Christ, Our Lady, and so many of the angels and saints worked so hard over the last 200 years, the Age of Mary, to get this message out? Maybe the good-willed clergy needed help from heaven, help to which they seem to have turned a deaf ear! Then whose job is it to continue to share this message of the Warning, to pray for and to help prepare all of humanity for what may be soon 9

10 approaching us? Certainly the institutional Church has not taken this responsibility! Then maybe it is up to the remnant Church maybe you and me and the remnant faithful throughout the world! Thank you for listening! Let us pray for those who may be totally unaware or misinformed of such an event and so unprepared for it: Crusade Prayer (43) Save Souls during The Warning O God the Almighty Father, on behalf of Your beloved Son, Jesus Christ, and in commemoration of His death on the Cross to save us from our sins, I beg You to save souls who cannot save themselves and who may die in mortal sin during The Warning. In atonement for the sufferings of Your beloved Son, I urge You to forgive those who are unable to seek Redemption because they will not live long enough to ask Jesus, Your Son, for Mercy to free them from sin. Amen. Crusade Prayer (55) To Prepare for The Warning O my Dear Jesus, please open the hearts of all God's children to the Gift of Your Great Mercy. Help them to accept Your Divine Mercy with love and gratitude. Enable them to become humble before You and beg for the forgiveness of their sins, so that they can become part of Your Glorious Kingdom. Amen. Crusade Prayer (60) Prayer for conversion during The Warning O dear Sweet Jesus, I beg for Mercy for the souls of my family (name them here). I offer you my sufferings, my trials and my prayers to save their souls from the spirit of darkness. Let not one of these, Your children, denounce You, or reject Your Hand of Mercy. Open their hearts to entwine with Your Sacred Heart, so that they can seek the forgiveness necessary to save them from the fires of Hell. 10

11 Give them the chance to make amends, so that they can be converted with the Rays of Your Divine Mercy. Amen. Crusade Prayer (65) For those in mortal sin at the Warning Oh Dear Jesus, Savior of mankind, through Your Divine Mercy I plead for clemency for all those poor souls in sin who may be taken from this earth during The Warning. Forgive them their sins and in memory of your Passion, I beg you to grant me this special favor in atonement for their sins. I offer myself to you in mind, body and soul as a penance to salvage their souls, and to bring them eternal life. Amen. Crusade Prayer (88) For Souls after the Warning O Sacred Heart of Jesus, show Mercy to all of us poor sinners. Enlighten those hearts of stone, so desperate in their quest for guidance. Forgive them their iniquities. Help them, through Your Love and Mercy, to find it in their hearts to grasp Your great Gift of Redemption. I implore You to forgive all souls who reject the Truth of God. Cover them with Your Light, Dear Jesus so that it will blind them to the wickedness and snares of the devil who will try to cut them off from You for eternity. I beg You to give all God's children the strength to be thankful for Your Great Mercy. I ask that You open the door to Your Kingdom to all lost souls who wander the earth in a state of helplessness and hopelessness. Amen.
