13 Exterior persecution from non-believers is very scary. It should cause us to be stronger, but that depends on the 'strength' of our sonship and of our relationship with our Beloved.

21 Interior persecution i.e. from fellow believers is the most destructive kind. It causes us to lose faith in what we've been shown by the Spirit so we end up introverted, gloomy and we may even give up.

22 Persecution from fellow believers will be strongest from bible-believing Christians, not Roman Catholics or Anglicans.

23 These are the same ones who vehemently opposed the Charismatic Renewal claiming that it was a sign of the Great Falling Away.

24 As we move further ahead in what our King is teaching us, we will increasingly leave behind the safety of religious knowledge and practice. This will increase the call on us being a cult and cause ever more persecution.

25 However, our agapē, spiritual productivity and our testimony will win many over to the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth
