1 18TH AUGUST 2013 THIRD WEEK SUNDAY MORNING DEVOTIONAL SERVICE, 2013 CAMP MEETING, NIGERIA TOPIC: A CHOSEN VESSEL PREACHER: REV. EMMANUEL ADEBAYO ADENIRAN (DS-WECA) There was a mystery which God did in the life of a young man, his name was Saul and his life became a miracle to others. Those who knew him to be a wicked soul and a persecutor saw the change in his life later when he had an encounter with the almighty God. ( Acts 9:15-18 ). Ananias argued with God because he knew and has heard about Saul and God told him that Saul has become a chosen vessel in his vineyard to preach the gospel to the Gentiles. God wants to change your life and make you a chosen vessel in His vineyard, your home, father's house, family, community district, country and Africa. May God help you to step and receive the power to be a preacher of righteousness in your generation. Saul the wicked and greater persecutor met with God on his way to Damascus to persecuting the Christians and the children of God. His meeting with God was not by accident, and your coming to this year 2013 camp meeting was not by accident. God has a purpose in your life ( Acts3-5 ). Saul surrendered to God's will and he had a contrite spirit ( Isaiah57:15-16 ). Saul humbled his heart and confessed his sins during the three days when he was blinded and he was saved. No wonder when Ananias prayed for him, he received the Holy Ghost. You need to do the same thing today if you want to be fit as a chosen vessel in the vineyard of the Almighty God. We learnt Ananias took very good care of Saul. You should care for new coverts, God's servants and support the service of GOD. If you can do it, He will do unusual surprise in your life. It does not matter who you are before coming here, you may be a witch, a sorcerer or anything. God will change you and make you a chosen vessel in His vineyard. All you need to do is to humble yourself, confess your sins and surrender them to Jesus Christ. He will save you from your life of sin, sanctify you and baptize you with the Holy Ghost and fire and you will be set free and be very fit for use. You will become another man with power to go out and win souls for Almighty God. When God calls you, submit to His will. Do not be like Jonah who learnt his lesson in a hard way. I had the same experience. When God called me at first, I did not heed the call to pursue my career. I faced seven years of hardship and dryness until I surrendered to God. All the things which God has given to you: education, talents, power, wealth, etc. He wants you to use them to glorify Him. God wants soldiers who will go and declare Jesus as the Lamb of God. God has made you to save your generation. You are to declare and live righteously. Your generation is looking up to you. May God help you to make good impact to show forth the fruit of righteousness. We have people both in the old and new testament who served their generation; viz Joseph, Moses, David, Stephen and Paul; and in our days, Mother Crawford, Bro. Timothy Oshokoya, etc. What will you be remembered for in your generation? Some parents are here without their children. Do you want them to go to hell while you go to heaven? You are a debtor to them. God want you to pay the debts you owe your family. In Gen. 4:4-5, Joseph told his brothers that it was God who brought him to Egypt to save lives. Start from your family, homes and to the Church at large. May God help you as you go home after this camp meeting to get power to serve your generation. Page 1 of 12

If only you can look up to Calvary, you will be saved, sanctified and you will have the mighty baptism of the Holy Ghost, your sickness and problem will fly away ( John3:14-17 ). My heart is heavy and bleeding because of the people that has not received anything from God since they came. The great and compassionate God will have mercy tonight. Have you come here without your salvation, sanctification and baptism of the Holy Ghost or are you here with sickness, problems, pain in your hearts and lots more? Jesus Christ has settled it all for you on the cross of Calvary. '' When Jesus Christ therefore received the vinegar, He said, " it is finished " and He bowed His head and Gave up the ghost " ( John19:30 ). What else do you want God to do for you that He has not done? He came that if you can believe, you will not perish. On Calvary, Jesus prayed for your forgiveness ( Luke23:34 ). If anybody still carries sins on his or her head it is because he or she has not come in contact with Calvary. If you will humble yourself enough and confess your sins, He His faithful and just to forgive you all your sins and to cleanse you from all unrighteousness. 3 20 TH AUGUST 2013 THIRD WEEK, TUESDAY CAMP MEETING BIBLE TEACHING; 2013 CAMP MEETING NIGERIA TOPIC: WHY STAND YE IDLE TEACHER: REV. SAMUEL INYANG (UYO DISTRICT OVERSEER) The parable in Matthew20:6, 7 teaches about salvation and the grace of God upon our lives. Before you work, there is labor. You are to be called for the work and your own is to follow (Matthew4:19) The work we are called to is preaching the gospel into the world. Your calling is not by accident, God has invested us so much and we need to go out to tell others. In this camp meeting, God has poured His numerous blessings upon us. He expects us to go to your homes, offices, families, and other places and bear fruit of righteousness by telling them about the power of Jesus to save souls from sins. This call is for whosoever will (2 nd Kings7:9). The lepers were able to carry good tidings to the king s house. They were not selfish; we must come out to spread the message of salvation. God is looking for men as He did in the time of Ezekiel. May He find you? There are qualifications we need to possess before we can go out for God s work.the disciples were called and chosen, they were sanctified as we found it in Jesus prayer in John17. They were to receive the power of the Holy Ghost (John15:16, Luke24:47-49). We need to be saved, sanctified and baptized with the Holy Ghost and fire before we can go out to preach the gospel. We would then have the power of God in our lives (Matthew28:18-20). After these foundational experiences, we need the presence of God in our life (Exodus 33:14 1). The presence of God on Moses helped him to face all the challenges that arose as he was leading Israel out of Egypt. It is the presence of God in our lives that will help us to face any persecution. We need daily consecration. This will help us to live a life above sins (Psalm 73; 28; I John 3:9). We must also study the word of God in connection with consecration. We must display the spirit of humility. Jesus our prime example was humble even unto death. As we prepare to go out and win souls for God, we must expect persecution and suffering. Jesus was persecuted and His disciples too. The same thing will happen to anybody who wants to preach true righteousness of Jesus (John 16:32, 33). Should we go back when this happens? No, Paul had the same experience (Act 21:13, 14) Paul took it with joy knowing the rewards awaiting him. Whether the persecution comes from outside or within, we are encouraged to take it with patience (James 5:7-10) we should not forget to use the weapon of prayer. (I Thessalonians 5:17). Let us do the work of God with love in our hearts and without tribalism (Acts 24:16). Our founding fathers have spent their time and energy to see the gospel get to all parts of Africa. What have you contributed? Why not ask the Lord to help you do that part He has assigned for you. Page 3 of 12

JAMES NWEGEMI (CAMEROON ASSISTANT OVERSEER). Jesus is the helper of the helpless. He is the only one you can tell all your problems and He will solve them for you. He has visited us since the beginning of this year s Camp Meeting with the blessings of Salvation, Sanctification, Baptism of the Holy Ghost, healing and other blessings. But it is very sad to say that some people have been here since the beginning of Camp Meeting and they have not received any blessing from God but tonight Jesus has given you another chance. May you make good use of it. (Matthew 11:28). The Nazarene demoniac was in a helpless situation and his folks have tried all they could but no solution. Do you have problem that you have taken to many places and there is no solution? Is the load of sin weighing you down that there is no hope for you? Jesus the helper of the helpless will save you tonight. The situation of this Nazarene demoniac was beyond human power. No charm could bind him. He dwelled among tombs but there is no situation that is beyond Jesus. When he met Jesus, he cried aloud and Jesus casted out the evil spirits from him. If you can cry out to Jesus tonight and confess your sins He will hear and wipe it out with His precious blood. He will solve all your problems. 5 21 ST AUGUST 2013 THIRD WEEK WEDNEDAY EVENING REVIVAL AND EVANGELISTIC SERVICE,2013 CAMPMEETING NIGERIA TOPIC: A NIGHT OF MEMORIAL PREACHER: REV. TUNJI ASAYA (DIRECTOR RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT DIRECTORATE). It is a night of signs and wonders, a night for a memorial. It is a night you will forever remember and be grateful unto God. The God we serve is a God that has answers to all our requests, He has visited us mightily since the beginning of this year s camp meeting as we heard this morning that over fourteen thousand people has been blessed. What we need to do is to consider His words and let our faith cling to His words. As soon as God through Moses led the children of Israel out of Egypt, they were faced with a problem. Moses cried unto God and He told him to step forward by faith (Exodus14:15). He solved the problem for them with GOD. If you can step out in faith tonight, God who specializes in man s impossibility will solve all your problems tonight. By the authority in the word of God, there will be salvation, sanctification, baptism of the Holy Ghost, healing, re-anointing and solutions to other problems in Jesus name. Mountains in your life will become plain. Why, because it is a day of memorial (Exodus12:14). All prayers that have not been answered since the beginning of camp meeting will be answered tonight (Isaiah61:7). God will turn your shame into joy and give you an everlasting joy. The first thing you should do at the altar of prayer is to confess your sins and acknowledge them and be saved and God will add other everlasting and wonderful blessings to you. Page 5 of 12

7 22 ND AUGUST, 2013 THIRD WEEK THURSDAY BIBLE TEACHING, 2013 CAMP MEETING, Nigeria TOPIC: SPIRITUAL GROWTH TEACHER: REV. DWIGHT BALTZEL (International H/Q, Portland, USA) As everyone is born into this world a baby, so are we also born a brand new baby into the family of God (John 3:3). Just as family and well wishers rejoice over a new baby so does heaven rejoice over a sinner that is born into the Kingdom of God. When children are born, the parents expect them to grow and mature physically, similarly God expects the children born into His Kingdom to grow and mature spiritually. God is interested in our well-being (Ephesians 5:1). As soon as we are born into the family of God, there is a bond which knits us together which is the blood of Jesus Christ. This is what gives us the right to title of a brother or sister. This was seen as soon as Saul of Tarsus was converted. As God directed Ananias to go and pray for him, he called him Brother Saul. In our organization, we are not interested in titles because we are not carnally minded but spiritually minded (Romans 8:6-8, 14; 15). Being a graduate of a theology does not make one a true Christian nor grow as a Christian. An example is late brother Charles Rodman who wrote our Bible studies on the Book of Hebrews had his PhD in theology, became a pastor of a church yet he had condemnation in his heart until he met with God at the Apostolic Faith in Portland during a Camp Meeting. There he prayed through to Salvation and all his sins were forgiven. Condemnation rolled away and joy came into his heart. He was later sanctified and baptized with the Holy Ghost. He a resigned his pastoral commission and later became a vibrant minister in the gospel. This was made possible through obedience, humility and total surrender to God. He grew in the service of the Lord and labored tirelessly till death. As children desire milk and balance diet to grow, we need the word of God and prayer to grow spiritually. (I Peter 2:2; II Peter 3: 18; Ephesians 4:4, 15). A child cannot grow on his own neither does he know that he is growing except those seeing him. Spiritually we need the grace and help of God to grow and mature and when we are growing, it is the people around us that will notice it. God is always happy when He sees His Children grow. He is not happy when we are static. (Hebrews 5: 12 14). Growth and Maturity is not how long you have been in the gospel. A young covert can grow spiritually than you do. Jesus and Samuel were examples (Luke 2:40; I Samuel 1: 24-28). Samuel grew spiritually as a young Child and God could talk to him. He abided in the words of God and he became a great prophet of God. God is concerned about our spiritual as well as physical well-being but He said we should seek first the Kingdom of God and all other things will be added unto us. We are admonished that God will chasten us as we grow in grace (I Peter 1: 14; Hebrews 12: 5-7). He is kind and faithful He will show us the way. If we want to grow and mature spiritually, we must submit totally to the will of God and ask Him to show us the way. Solomon told God he was a little child who does not know how to go out or come in. God gave him wisdom. The same God is here today to save and give you the grace to grow in Him. Page 7 of 12

8 22 ND, AUGUST 2013 THIRD WEEK THURSDAY EVENING REVIVAL SERVICE; 2013 CAMP MEETING, NIGERIA TOPIC: ACCEPTABLE TIME PREACHER: BRO KAYODE AJIBOYE God has given us a proclamation of coming judgment in which we will be rewarded according to our work or way of life. It will be wise of us if we can send our sins forth before judgment (Revelation22:11, 12). No one should leave this holy assembly without experiencing the mighty touch of the Almighty God. Even if you have not been blessed since you came to this year s camp meeting, God will open the windows of heaven and pour you out His blessings. God is the one who saves through the precious blood if His Son, Jesus Christ and it is for whosoever will. Remember that you do not have camp meeting every time, everywhere and every day, this is the reason why you should make use of this golden opportunity to seek God. Esau had a great time but he misused the opportunity, though he later sought for it but it was too late (Hebrews12:16, 17). If anybody is negligent and is not saved, such person may seek for it with tears like Esau did and may not find it. God is still pouring out His blessings of salvation, sanctification, baptism of the Holy Ghost and fire, healing and lots more upon who will ask in faith. May you be that blessed person tonight? 23 RD, AUGUST 2013, THIRD WEEK FRIDAY YOUTH SERVICE; 2013 CAMP MEETING, NIGERIA TOPIC: WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? PREACHER: BRO. TOPE MAKUN (DEPUTY YOUTH LEADER, WECA) Today is a special day because Jesus Christ is here to pour more of His blessings upon youths. For three weeks now God has been here. The significance is that our seventeen thousand blessings have been received. God is asking you a question this afternoon What are you waiting for? You need to escape from your life of sin because of the forth coming destruction (Genesis19:17). Are you lingering in your sinful life? Do you know when the owner of your soul will call for it? It is time to decide what and where you want your life to be. Death knows no age. If you watch or listen to news broadcast, you will see that the rate at which death takes out both young and old people is alarming. Scientists are saying that the world is not sustainable any more. What do you want in life? All you need is in the glorious and wonderful gospel. Success is here, peace of mind is here. The devil has no good thing to give you except for shame and disgrace. He gives leaking pockets and sin brings disgrace and death (1 Peter3:10). God told Noah to escape for his life because of the calamity that was approaching Sodom and Gomorrah. What are you waiting for my dear friend? You can prepare this afternoon to escape the forth coming tribulations and judgment coming upon this earth. If you do, God will give you perfect peace (Isaiah26:3). God bless you as you yield completely to his will. Page 8 of 12

9 23 RD AUGUST, 2013 THIRD WEEK FRIDAY EVENING REVIVAL SERVICE; 2013 CAMP MEETING, NIGERIA TOPIC: THE UNCHANGING GOD PREACHER: BRO GEORGE COLE God the omnipotent God is an unchanging God. He is the Greater than the greatest; the Stronger than the strongest, the I am that I am, the Better than the best and even more. He is the God that says something and it comes to pass (Malachi3:6). He will fulfill His promises in your life and He has promised to bless us in this gathering today. All you need do is just to ask for the forgiveness of your sins and make sure you are connected with Him; that is the only way you can receive from Him before you can bear the fruit of righteousness. The opportunity is still open to all sinners who have not been saved tonight because He cannot lie (Numbers23:19, 20). God wants you to be fruitful, replenish the earth, subdue it, dominate and multiply in your life this year. Satan may try to obstruct you but the unchanging God will help you. There is no power anywhere except in God. If He saves you, He will guide, He will guard and will keep you from all evil known and unknown to you because He is an unchanging and loving God. If you want to get the blessings of God, you must be determined. Elisha determined to follow his master Elijah and he got the power. Jacob determined that he will not leave the angel and he was blessed. God wants us to be fruitful; what kinds of fruits are found in you? You can meet with God tonight and He will change your life. He is calling you this night and as you answer His call may your life be changed for good forever. Page 9 of 12

10 25 TH AUGUST, 2013 LAST SUNDAY DEVOTIONAL SERVICE CAMP MEETING DEVOTIONAL SERVICE TOPIC: THE VOICE OF GOD PREACHER: REV. DWIGHT BALTZEL In the very beginning of the world when men thought they were wise in the city of Babel; God disorganized their plan and scattered their language (Genesis11:1-9). God has a message for all the people of the earth to carry out. Even though He scattered their language, He still speaks to everyone in a voice and language and they all understand. I thank God for the opportunity He has given me to travel round the world with the message of the gospel. I feel excited when I am in the midst of Africans with over three thousand (3,000) languages. God in His wonderful mercy and love has united us together. The men we read about in Genesis were proud, self sufficient and were working against the mind of God. Thank God in His mercy, He made a way through His son Jesus Christ to bring us together in love and unity. Since God scattered the languages of men, He still speaks to us individually in different languages we will understand and those He will speak to are those who have repented of their sins. When you become a child of God, you can hear His voice whenever He speaks to you even with the language you don t understand. This is the way, walk ye in it. How does God speak to us and how can we know His voice? In this 2013 camp meeting, God has spoken to many people. We have a lot of testimonies of those who have heard from God and their sins were forgiven them, He will call you by name in a voice and languages you will understand. He said if I be lifted up from the earth, I will draw all men unto me (John12:32). God has brought us together at the cross of Calvary and we are made equal. We have the same spirit and we can now hear His voice speak to us but if any one refuses the voice of God on earth, he or she has no part with Him in heaven. Age is not a barrier with God; He does speak to adult as well as children. Page 10 of 12

11 Paul on His way to Damascus to persecute the children of God heard the voice of God, Saul, Saul, why persecutes thou me (Acts9:4). The language was clear to Paul; it was in a Hebrews tongue. God can speak to anyone; He loves the sinners as well as the saints. He speaks to the sinners to convict them of their sins. The adulterous woman who was caught in the act was waiting to hear the voice that she is condemned but instead, what she heard was the voice Go and sin no more. Are you here and you have not heard the voice of the Almighty God? He will speak to you; you only need to listen to Him. He is still calling to bless you, just come to God today and He will save you from your life of sin if you are ready to surrender to Him and remain connected with Him. 25 TH AUGUST, 2013 LAST SUNDAY YOUTH SERVICE; 2013 CAMP MEETING, NIGERIA TOPIC: THE CAPTIVITY WILL BE LED CAPTIVE PREACHER: BRO. NIRAN ADENIGBE God is here to lead captivity captive. Since the start of this year camp meeting, God has led many people out of the captivity of sin. Some have been freed of their sickness while some have been delivered from bareness. Today will not be an exemption (John7:37). Has Satan held you captive with sin, debts, bareness, drunkenness, poverty, curses, sickness and other things? Do you think it is incurable? God will deliver you this afternoon. One morning, the servant of Elisha cried unto him, Alas, master we perish, we are surrounded by the army of Syria. Elisha told him not to fear and he prayed and God blinded the eyes of his enemies. He led them into the city and prayed God to open their eyes and they found themselves in the midst of Israel. Imagine what would be their thoughts. Captivity was led captive. God will do the same thing for you today and those problems that have held you captive for years will be led captive in Jesus Name (Isaiah49:25-26). The person who can help you to lead captivity captive is Jesus Christ. He has all power and He has done it for many people in this camp meeting, He will do your own today. Just give Him a chance in your life and He will bless you. Page 11 of 12

12 25TH AUGUST, 2013 LAST SUNDAY EVENING REVIVAL/ FAREWELL SERVICE; 2013 CAMP MEETING, NIGERIA TOPIC: REMEMBER ME PREACHER: BRO. FEMI EWUMI Tonight is a night that you will be remembered by God. Because He who has poured out His blessings since the beginning of this Camp Meeting will remember you (Luke 23:42, 43). The case of the condemned thief on the cross was a hopeless one but Jesus changed it. If you can only believe, you will get instant answer to all your prayers. We are confident that He will do that which He has promised, "whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, believing, ye shall receive". He is a promise keeping God. Do not delay tonight, He says seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all other things will be added unto you. Your salvation is very important. It is the way to getting other blessings, It the way to eternal life (Luke 10:42). He promises to keep you and care for you. No evil thing shall happen to you and His presence shall go with you all the days of your life, He will never forget you if you make Him your personal Lord and saviour.(isaiah 49:15; Genesis 28:15). As you go back home, His presence will go with you and you will not meet all the challenges you left in Jesus Name. Every obstacle in your way will be taken away. You just need to pray like the Psalmist did (Psalm 106: 4) should Jesus tarry, you will come back here with songs of victory. God be with you. Page 12 of 12
