The Lesson Ezekiel 33:7-11 Lector A Reading from Book of prophet Ezekiel. You, mortal, I have made a sentinel for house of Israel; whenever you hear a word from my mouth, you shall give m warning from me. If I say to wicked, O wicked ones, you shall surely die, and you do not speak to warn wicked to turn from ir ways, wicked shall die in ir iniquity, but ir blood I will require at your hand. But if you warn wicked to turn from ir ways, and y do not turn from ir ways, wicked shall die in ir iniquity, but you will have saved your life. Now you, mortal, say to house of Israel, Thus you have said: Our transgressions and our sins weigh upon us, and we waste away because of m; how n can we live? Say to m, As I live, says Lord God, I have no pleasure in death of wicked, but that wicked turn from ir ways and live; turn back, turn back from your evil ways; for why will you die, O house of Israel? Lector People The Word of Lord. Thanks be to God. The Gradual: Psalm 119:33-40 Legem pone The psalm is read responsively, with congregation saying lines marked in bold. Teach me, O Lord, way of your statutes, and I shall keep it to end. Give me understanding, and I shall keep your law; I shall keep it with all my heart. Make me go in path of your commandments, for that is my desire. Incline my heart to your decrees and not to unust gain. Turn my eyes from watching what is worthless; give me life in your ways. Fulfill your promise to your servant, which you make to those who fear you. Turn away reproach which I dread, because your udgments are good. Behold, I long for your commandments; in your righteousness preserve my life. 5

The Epistle Romans 13:8-14 Lector A Reading from Paul s Letter to Church in Rome. Owe no one anything, except to love one anor; for one who loves anor has fulfilled law. The commandments, You shall not commit adultery; You shall not murder; You shall not steal; You shall not covet; and any or commandment, are summed up in this word, Love your neighbor as yourself. Love does no wrong to a neighbor; refore, love is fulfilling of law. Besides this, you know what time it is, how it is now moment for you to wake from sleep. For salvation is nearer to us now than when we became believers; night is far gone, day is near. Let us n lay aside works of darkness and put on armor of light; let us live honorably as in day, not in reveling and drunkenness, not in debauchery and licentiousness, not in quarreling and ealousy. Instead, put on Lord esus Christ, and make no provision for flesh, to gratify its desires. Lector People The Word of Lord. Thanks be to God. The people stand. 7 The Gospel Matw 18:15-20 Celebrant The Holy Gospel of our Lord esus Christ according to Matw. People Glory to you, Lord Christ. esus said, If anor member of church sins against you, go and point out fault when two of you are alone. If member listens to you, you have regained that one. But if you are not listened to, take one or two ors along with you, so that every word may be confirmed by evidence of two or three witnesses. If member refuses to listen to m, tell it to church; and if offender refuses to listen even to church, let such a one be to you as a Gentile and a tax collector. Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. Again, truly I tell you, if two of you agree on earth about anything you ask, it will be done for you by my Far in heaven. For where two or three are gared in my name, I am re among m. Celebrant The Gospel of Lord. People Praise to you, Lord Christ. The Sermon The Reverend Canon Dr. William. Danaher, r. All stand. 7

The Nicene Creed We believe in one God, Far, Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is, seen and unseen. We believe in one Lord, esus Christ, only Son of God, eternally begotten of Far, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, of one Being with Far. Through him all things were made. For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven: by power of Holy Spirit he became incarnate from Virgin Mary, and was made man. For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate; he suffered death and was buried. On third day he rose again in accordance with Scriptures; he ascended into heaven and is seated at right hand of Far. He will come again in glory to udge living and dead, and his kingdom will have no end. We believe in Holy Spirit, Lord, giver of life, who proceeds from Far and Son. With Far and Son he is worshiped and glorified. He has spoken through Prophets. We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church. We acknowledge one baptism for forgiveness of sins. We look for resurrection of dead, and life of world to come. Amen. 8

The Prayers of People The Leader and People pray responsively Far, we pray for your holy Catholic Church; That we all may be one. Grant that every member of Church may truly and humbly serve you; That your Name may be glorified by all people. We pray for ustin, Archbishop of Canterbury; Michael, our Presiding Bishop: Wendell, our own Bishop; for all bishops, priests, and deacons; for all or ministers, especially people and clergy of St. Paul s, Brighton; St. Matw s, alonaga, Dominican Republic; and St. Mary, Full of Grace, Mao, Dominican Republic; That y may be faithful ministers of your Word and Sacraments. We pray for those in positions of authority, especially Donald, our president; Richard, our governor; Michael, mayor of Detroit; Deirdre, mayor of Pontiac; That re may be ustice and peace on earth. Give us grace to do your will in all that we undertake; That our works may find favor in your sight. We pray for all who are sick. Have compassion on those who suffer from any grief or trouble; That y may be delivered from ir distress. We pray for all who have died. Give to departed eternal rest. Let light perpetual shine upon m. We praise you for your saints who have entered into oy; May we also come to share in your heavenly kingdom. Let us pray for our own needs and those of ors. Silence Then Celebrant says Let us pray for those who have been affected by Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma. Heavenly Far, in your Word you have given us a vision of that holy City where earth will be filled with knowledge of glory of LORD as waters cover sea: Behold and visit, we pray, cities of earth devastated by Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma. Sustain those displaced by storm with food, drink, and all or bodily necessities of life. We especially remember before you all poor and neglected persons it would be easy for us to forget: homeless and destitute, elderly and sick, and all who have none to care for m; that, among all changes and chances of this mortal life, y may ever be defended by your gracious and ready help; through esus Christ our Lord. Amen. 9

Then Celebrant says concluding Collect O Lord our God, accept fervent prayers of your people; in multitude of your mercies, look with compassion upon us and all who turn to you for help; for you are gracious, O lover of souls, and to you we give glory, Far, Son, and Holy Spirit, now and for ever. Amen. Confession of Sin Celebrant People Celebrant Let us confess our sins against God and our neighbor. Most merciful God, we confess that we have sinned against you in thought, word, and deed, by what we have done, and by what we have left undone. We have not loved you with our whole heart; we have not loved our neighbors as ourselves. We are truly sorry and we humbly repent. For sake of your Son esus Christ, have mercy on us and forgive us; that we may delight in your will, and walk in your ways, to glory of your Name. Amen. Almighty God have mercy on you, forgive you all your sins through our Lord esus Christ, strengn you in all goodness, and by power of Holy Spirit keep you in eternal life. Amen. The Peace Celebrant People The peace of Lord be always with you. And also with you. Welcome and Announcements The Holy Communion Musical Offering Ave Maria Franz Schubert ( ) arr. Steven Rosenhaus The people stand. The Great Thanksgiving Celebrant The Lord be with you. People And also with you. Celebrant Lift up your hearts. People We lift m to Lord. Celebrant Let us give thanks to Lord our God. People It is right to give our thanks and praise. 10

The Celebrant proceeds It is truly right, and good and oyful, to give you thanks, all-holy God, source of life and fountain of mercy, through esus Christ our Lord. For you are source of light and life, you made us in your image, and called us to new life in esus Christ our Lord. Therefore we praise you, oining our voices with Angels and Archangels and with all company of heaven, who for ever sing this hymn to proclaim glory of your Name: Sanctus and Benedictus setting: ohn Karl Hirten (b. 1956) Manual I.. Ó in Ho - You gave world into our care that we might be your faithful stewards and show forth your bountiful grace. But we failed to honor your image in one anor and in ourselves; we would not see your goodness in world around us; and so we violated your creation, abused one anor, and reected your love. Yet you never ceased to care for us, and prepared way of salvation for all people. 11. b. ho - ly,.... san - na b comes in name of in high - est. b high -. est.. ho - ly Heav-en and. in.... 12 Through Abraham and Sarah you called us into covenant with you. You delivered us from slavery, sustained us in wilderness, and raised up prophets to renew your promise of salvation. Then, in fullness of time, you sent your eternal Word, made mortal flesh in esus. Born into human family, and dwelling among us, he revealed your glory. Giving himself freely to death on cross, he triumphed over evil, opening way of freedom and life. On night before he died for us, Our Savior esus Christ took bread, and when he had given thanks to you, he broke it, and gave it to his friends, and said: Take, eat: This is my Body which is given for you. Do this for remembrance of me. As supper was ending, esus took cup of wine, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to m, and said: Drink this, all of you: This is my Blood of new Covenant, which is poured out for you and for all for forgiveness of sins. Whenever you drink it, do this for remembrance of me. Therefore we proclaim mystery of faith: Christ has died. Christ is risen. Christ will come again. Remembering his death and resurrection, we now present to you from your creation this bread and this wine. By your Holy Spirit may y be for us Body and Blood of our Savior esus Christ. Grant that we who share se gifts may be filled with Holy Spirit and live as Christ s Body in world. Bring us into everlasting heritage of your daughters and sons, that with all your saints, past, present, and yet to come, we may praise your Name for ever. Through Christ and with Christ and in Christ, in unity of Holy Spirit, to you be honor, glory, and praise, for ever and ever. AMEN. 12

And now as our Savior Christ has taught us, we are bold to say, Celebrant and People Our Far, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is kingdom, and power, and glory, for ever and ever. Amen. The Breaking of Bread The Celebrant breaks consecrated Bread. A period of silence is kept. Fraction Anm setting: ack Warren Burnam (b.1946) verse: The bread which we break, Alleluia, is communion of Body of Christ Antiphon verse: One body are we, Alleluia, for though many we share one bread. Antiphon The Celebrant says following Invitation The Gifts of God for People of God. 13

The Ministration of Communion and Healing This is Christ s table, and Christ is our host at this feast. All baptized Christians, including children of any age, and people of any denomination, are welcome to receive communion. If you are unable to come forward, but desire Communion, please notify an usher. If, for whatever reason, you do not wish to receive, you are invited to come forward for a blessing by crossing your arms. Gluten-free hosts available upon request. If you are unable to come forward, but desire Healing, please notify an usher and a healing minister will come to you following service. Communion Music Alleluia from Exsultate ubilate Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart ( ) arr. Steven L. Rosenhaus The Postcommunion Prayer The Celebrant says Let us pray. Celebrant and People God of abundance, you have fed us with bread of life and cup of salvation; you have united us with Christ and one anor; and you have made us one with all your people in heaven and on earth. Now send us forth in power of your Spirit, that we may proclaim your redeeming love to world and continue for ever in risen life of Christ our Savior. Amen. The Blessing The Celebrant says May Spirit of truth lead you into all truth, giving you grace to confess that esus Christ is Lord, and to proclaim wonderful works of God; and blessing of God Almighty, Far, Son, and Holy Spirit, be among you, and remain with you always. Amen. 14
