Spend five minutes scrolling through social media comments and suddenly the truth becomes hazy. Jesus calls us as Christ followers to speak truth to everyone around us. So what is the truth? How do we find it? And how do we tell it in a Christ-like way? Alex Seeley Overcoming Strongholds (YW) STUDENT TRACK Andrea Hopgood + Daughters Brea & Aniya Ann C. Sullivan April Bricco Hope Street Ministry Adulting is Hard, Parenting Shouldn't Be! I can t wait until my kids turn 18, then I m done. FALSE! They may be adults, but they still need you, just in a different way. This workshop will allow you to peek inside life with the Hopgoods and hear how decisions we made throughout the years have developed into the mother/adult daughters relationship we re living now. We ll look at verses in Deuteronomy and Titus as a foundation on why we do what we do. Unsatisfied: Finding Contentment in a Discontented World Ann takes an unflinching look at our lack of fulfillment and sorts through the reasons for our unhappiness. She helps us discover what genuine contentment looks like and dares us to believe that even in the midst of our frustrations, God is closer than we think. Evangelism As a Process, How to Reach the Unchurched In America today, we are seeing a cultural shifting away from Christianity. So what does it look like to help your friends explore Christianity in this new environment? We will discuss a 5-step process that many unbelievers follow as they explore Jesus. You will learn how to identify where they are at, what questions are helpful during each stage of exploration, and how to gently help your friends move closer to Jesus. Interactive Greenhouse: Cultivate Hope Cultivation is a preparation for growth. When we grow as people it is because we have a predisposition in our nature. Sometimes, though, how we see ourselves does not match up. We see the bad we ve done, or the good we ve failed to do and we start to believe the lie that who I am is the same as what I ve done. When all you ve known is ugly it is hard to find hope. But the truth starts with this:...in the image of God He created them The truth of who we are cultivates hope. Walk through Hope Street s Interactive Greenhouse to explore how we protect from the outside toxic environment, build community and cultivate hope.

2 Brian & Melissa Hofmeister Intimacy in Marriage It's not always candles and chocolates, right? Sex is a need in marriage. So is affection. God's heart for marriage is to bring both together in a meaninful and intimate way. But how? Laugh with Brian and Melissa as they journey with you toward His plan for intimacy in marriage. Ellisa Lettner Leslie J. (Reinicke) Prusik + Chris Eisner Discipleship Jesus invited 12 men to accompany him on a three-year journey. During that time they became his disciples and their lives were changed and they learned what it meant to follow the Lord and pass it along to others to expand the Kingdom of God. In this day and age discipleship can't replicate exactly what Jesus did, but we can learn to come alongside other women for their (and our) spiritual maturity. We don't have to be perfect, only willing to be used by God to see lives changed by the power of God's Word and practical application. Seeing the Promise in the Midst of Trial Come and hear two stories of women who have overcome trials, including cancer, through the love and grace of God. Learn how to see God s promises even in the midst of suffering as you take a short journey to explore what challenges you may be facing today. You will leave with an understanding and the knowledge of God s promises for you and feel renewed and covered in God s grace. Erica Lopez Faith of A Child The Bible tells us that we should have faith like a child, but how you do foster that faith in your child? From a very young age children are beginning to form beliefs that they will carry with them for years to come. With a world full of contradictory messages, investing in the spiritual foundation and development of your children has never been more vital. We will explore together how to create a Biblical foundation, the essential role that parents play, and how to help your child to be a key part of the church today, not just tomorrow.

Worship Center Workshop - 1:15PM Jill Rennick Transformation in the Bones One of the greatest tragedies in our world and church today is that men and women who profess to have Christ in their hearts never let Christ into their bones.the place where unresolved wounds, shame and self-protection stay active and reap sad, angering and discouraging consequences. This was never meant to be the case and many systemic spiritual and cultural dysfunctions have truncated our understanding of transformation and thus its ability to reach the core of our beings. This seminar will: identify the systemic dysfunctions that have truncated transformation; recover spiritual and psychological processes that have consistently made transformation accessible to humanity; restore hope that Ezekiel 37 hints at.dry bones can come alive! Loving LGBTQ+ People Our mission as believers is to reflect the love we ve experienced from Christ to those whose deepest need is to discover His love for them. Ever since the AIDS crisis in the 80 s, the Christian church has been known more for it s posture of us versus they when in comes to LGBTQ+ people than living out the mission we ve been given. In this workshop, you ll be given a vision for what loving this unique group of people can look like and offered a unique perspective into how to love others. Kara Keepers + Arianna Sweere The Ultimate Promise: Finding Hope in the Cross How do you cope when your life becomes something you never imagined it would be? Is Jesus death for you enough to transform how you navigate through life s devastations? The world offers many promises that, even if attained, can be stripped away or leave us unfulfilled. As mother and daughter, our deepest desire rested in the promise of a loving, faithful, and secure family life. With our most precious promise broken, we were faced with separate, but equally difficult, choices and challenges. Join us as we share our story as mother and daughter who journeyed through divorce, disappointment, self-harm, and salvation. Laura Sandretti Worship Center Workshop - 10AM Tired? Are you worn-out from worrying what others think of you? Is it hard for you to receive criticism and/or compliments? Are you exhausted from trying to be prettier, smarter and more successful than you believe you are? Join Laura as she shares her slow and unpleasant journey learning what it means to abide in Christ and how doing so leads to more confidence, freedom, and purposeful living.

4 Leeana Liska - The Women's Center Human Trafficking in our Community Contrary to popular belief, human trafficking is a prevalent issue in our community and has been reported in every county in Wisconsin. During this seminar, participants will learn about the different forms of trafficking as well as common warning signs. Participants will also learn how it effects the community we live in, myths and stereotypes associated with trafficking, as well as how to report it. Digital Safety -This presentation will discuss basics of digital safety and how it can impact relationships. We will discuss the importance of setting digital boundaries, identifying warning signs of digital abuse and cyber bullying, and how to support your child or someone else you know online. Liz Carver Desire, Discontentment and Disappointment: Finding Freedom in the Promises of God Our longings and desires reflect the deepest aspects of who we are and connect us to our Creator. Sometimes as believers, we mistakenly think that God wants us to suppress our desires, that our longings are a part of our flesh, but this sort of modern-day gnosticism will eventually turn our desires and longings into a barrier between us and God. Rather than suppress our desires, we need to allow them to teach us. When we honestly come before God with all that we are, we can turn our suppressed desires into surrendered desire, our faux contentment into holy discontentment and our disappointments into doorways of freedom. Understanding God s original design for sex a way to worship and glorify Him and understanding who Jesus truly is in light of the sexual sin that may have a stranglehold over your story, is imperative to walking in Truth and freedom. Join for candid, honest and open conversations about how to navigate our sexuality in a over-stimulating world.

As women, we often let our identity and choices be driven by the needs of others around us, without us uttering another word. Wouldn t those roles feel so much different if we experienced the inner security and freedom of using God s vision for us to guide our choices and actions? Join us for this session as we share samples of God s vision for Biblical characters and look at how we can apply those concepts to ourselves. This interactive session will benefit women of all ages, yet will include a sneak peek at a new class being piloted here at Elmbrook this spring. The class, 50+ What s Next? is filled with practical and Biblical tools to help folks lay the groundwork to make their years after 50 meaningful and impactful. They will showcase a song they have written together and possibly answer a few questions from you! Scripture for Families in Crisis As life throws us all kinds of curve balls, we learn that the place to turn for hope, peace and support is the Bible. We will look into our present-day struggles and learn that what we encounter is no surprise to God.
