Jesus and eternal perspective 25 What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, and yet lose or forfeit their very self? Luke 9:23
The thoughts of Paul If only for this life we have hope in Christ, we are of all people most to be pitied. 1Cor 15:19

Donald Clinton Maharty May 23, 1967-? Your life Matters.. ife to New Life to The Next
The New Life 17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! 5:17 2 Corinthian
This Old Life.. 23 Jesus replied, The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified. 24 Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds. 25 Anyone who loves their life will lose it, while anyone who hates their life in this world will keep it for eternal life. John 12:23-25
This Life.. Hate this Life 25 Anyone who loves their life will lose it, while anyone who hates their life in this world will keep it for eternal life. 12:25 John
This Worldly Life.. 15 Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them. 16 For everything in the world the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life comes not from the Father but from the world. 17 The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever. 1 John 2:15-17
This Worldly Life.. You adulterous people, don t you know that friendship with the world means enmity against God? Therefore, anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God. 5 Or do you think Scripture says without reason that he jealously longs for the spirit he has caused to dwell in us? 6 But he gives us more grace. James 4:3-6
This Worldly Life.. 4 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Philip 4:4
Why Rejoice?
Generations-
The Next Life.. Gen Next HEAVEN However, as it is written: No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has conceived the things God has prepared for those who love him 1 Cor 2:9
The Next Life.. Heaven Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. This inheritance is kept in heaven for you, 5 who through faith are shielded by God s power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time. 6 In all this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. 7 These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed. 8 Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and
The Next Life.. Gen Next HEAVEN He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away. Rev 21:4
How do I get the New Life.. 18 A certain ruler asked him, Good teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life? Luke 18:18

27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this (to face) judgment.. Hebrews 9:27 (KJV)
The Cross and The Resurrected Life 27 Just as people are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment, 28 so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him. Hebrews 9:27-28
