1 Page 1 : Apostolic Churches Alliance A V I S I O N F O R T H E F U T U R E 2019 A D, N E W Y E A R E D I T I O N E - B U L L E T I N Happy New Year! 2019 Theme: Togetherness In a divided world and a divided country, togetherness is our theme this year which will be a focus for prayer, fellowship and our work. 1 At the end of March Britain is due to exit the EU hence the word brexit. For the past three years Britain has been rudderless, directionless and leaderless. The Cabinet is divided, the Government is divided, Parliament is divided and so is the country. The 2016 referendum provided a small majority of 4% in favour of Britain leaving the EU after more than 45 years membership. Yet the damage being done through this division is more damaging to the country than the small majority would suggest. This is the problem with division, its effect is disproportionate and if not checked can be fatal. Disunity in an operation room could lead to death of the patient. Disunity in the cockpit of an aircraft could lead to a crash. Togetherness on the other hand brings peace, harmony and success. Jesus prayed for unity and thank God his prayer prevailed in the establishment of the church, and has kept the church despite terrible persecution and still is keeping the church today. Without unity the church would have disintegrated long ago even though it may appear the church is divided. Denominations divide, organisations divide and sadly local churches also divide but the church of Christ must not divide. Perhaps the most mature and successful church amongst the early churches is Ephesus. It started with 12 loyal followers of the prophet John the Baptist whom Apostle Paul met during one of his missions. Apostle Paul after finding out that these loyal followers of John had not received the Holy Spirit he persuaded them concerning the name of Jesus Christ after which he re-baptized them in the name of Jesus Christ, laid hands upon them and they received the Holy Spirit.

2 This small group went on to become the very large and successful Ephesus church because Paul did not discount their experience as followers of John and neither did he discredit John the Baptist. Page 2 Too often our misguided zeal makes us discount any experience that is different from our own and worse, we sow schism from the outset by discrediting their leader or minister. John the Baptist and Jesus were not divided yet John s ministry would give way to the greater one of Jesus. Apostle Paul led these twelve men from one level of experience and truth to a higher and greater one in Christ Jesus. 2 In the rest of this e bulletin you will find information on services being organised and supported by the ACA as well as ACA church members special services in 2019; together let us support each other for in so doing we are working together for the good of the Kingdom of God. 3 Page 3 AN OVERVIEW OFTHE APOSTOLIC CHURCHES ALLIANCE Holy greetings in Jesus' name and I pray that this New Year will fulfil your heart s desires. May I take this opportunity to provide you with an overview on the activities of the Apostolic Churches Alliance (ACA) over recent years. During this time we have had a number of social gatherings, along with sumptuous refreshments. These presented opportunities to fellowship, share thoughts or ideas on developing and enhancing not only the work of the ACA further, but individuals also. 3 It is necessary to state that the ACA is not a financial institution; however, when we come together things can be done for the benefit of others. In 2013 a Bank was late with a loan for a particular Pastor. This would have resulted in a major loss. Thankfully, three members of the ACA were able to provide assistance. Additionally, in 2017 another Pastor needed a financial loan and the ACA was able to help out on this occasion also. We continue to donate computers, stationery, food, clothes, trainers, bicycles and money to meet basic school needs in Jamaica. Also, goods were sent for hurricane relief in the Eastern Caribbean. We have had a number of successful seminars on various subjects such as marriage and also on prayer. Furthermore, 2018 saw the inception of the Preachers Master class. This is a programme written and delivered by Bishop Wayne Malcolm with the aim of developing leaders. We had three classes with a total of sixty five individuals in attendance, consisting of Apostles, Bishops, Pastors, a Bible School Dean and potential leaders. With the help of God, it is our hope that these sessions, which attendees have found beneficial, will resume sometime during the year. Please look out for information on this and other events by the ACA. To conclude, it is important to point out that there is an ACA Conference Prayer Line at 6.00 am every day (365) days per year, with forty eight praying individuals on line each day. We have had many great testimonies resulting from these prayers. There is also a Children's Prayer Line on Saturdays at 7:30am. Here the children enthusiastically pray, exhort and sing to the glory of God. We continue to give God all the praise for the mighty way in which He has blessed us and other Prayer Lines. Harlesden, Apostle Denny, RRF Luton is hosting a re-dedication service on 30 th Venue: Fellowship House, 90 Dunstable Road, Luton, LU1 1EH Pastor Marvin Sanguinetti, New Life Apostolic Church Ministries International will be celebrating 18 years of ministry on 27 th & 28 th April. Venue: Heartbeat International Christian Centre, Camberwell, London SE5 7NL Bethel Apostolic Ark celebrates its silver jubilee this year. The celebration will also include the consecration of Pastor Raymond Williams into the office of Bishop. The service commences at 12 noon at: Bethel Convention Centre, Kelvin Way, West Bromwich, B70 7JW.

5 Bishop Leroy Francis, UPC GB & I are celebrating their golden jubilee year in The main event will be a general conference in Llandudno, Wales on 6 th to 9 th August.
