3 And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by men. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full. MATTHEW 6:5

4 But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. MATTHEW 6:6

5 And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. MATTHEW 6:7

6 Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask Him. MATTHEW 6:8

7 This, then, is how you should pray: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name, MATTHEW 6:9

8 Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. MATTHEW 6:10

9 Give us today our daily bread. MATTHEW 6:11

10 Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. MATTHEW 6:12

11 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. MATTHEW 6:13

12 For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. MATTHEW 6:14

13 But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins. MATTHEW 6:15

14 Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. MATTHEW 5:17

15 For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the Law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven. MATTHEW 5:20

16 Be careful not to do your acts of righteousness before men, to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven. MATTHEW 6:1

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the Gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints. Pray also for me, that whenever I open my mouth, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the Gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should.
