1 BRIGHT STAR COMMUNITY CHURCH In 2019 it s time to take over 1 Samuel 30:8 NIV 8 and David inquired of the LORD, "Shall I pursue this raiding party? Will I overtake them?" "Pursue them," he answered. "You will certainly overtake them and succeed in the rescue."

2 1 Sam 30: David and his men reached Ziklag on the third day. Now the Amalekites had raided the Negev and Ziklag. They had attacked Ziklag and burned it, 2 and had taken captive the women and all who were in it, both young and old. They killed none of them, but carried them off as they went on their way. 3 When David and his men came to Ziklag, they found it destroyed by fire and their wives and sons and daughters taken captive.

3 4 So David and his men wept aloud until they had no strength left to weep. 5 David's two wives had been captured Ahinoam of Jezreel and Abigail, the widow of Nabal of Carmel. 6 David was greatly distressed because the men were talking of stoning him; each one was bitter in spirit because of his sons and daughters. But David found strength in the LORD his God.

4 7 Then David said to Abiathar the priest, the son of Ahimelech, "Bring me the ephod." Abiathar brought it to him, 8 and David inquired of the LORD, "Shall I pursue this raiding party? Will I overtake them?" "Pursue them," he answered. "You will certainly overtake them and succeed in the rescue."

5 9 David and the six hundred men with him came to the Besor Ravine, where some stayed behind, 10 for two hundred men were too exhausted to cross the ravine. But David and four hundred men continued the pursuit. 11 They found an Egyptian in a field and brought him to David. They gave him water to drink and food to eat 15 David asked him, "Can you lead me down to this raiding party?"

6 He answered, "Swear to me before God that you will not kill me or hand me over to my master, and I will take you down to them." 16 He led David down, and there they were, scattered over the countryside, eating, drinking and reveling because of the great amount of plunder they had taken from the land of the Philistines and from Judah. 17 David fought them from dusk until the evening of the next day, and none of them got away, except four hundred young men who rode off on camels and fled.

7 18 David recovered everything the Amalekites had taken, including his two wives. 19 Nothing was missing: young or old, boy or girl, plunder or anything else they had taken. David brought everything back. 20 He took all the flocks and herds, and his men drove them ahead of the other livestock, saying, "This is David's plunder."

9 In 2019 It s Time To Take Over

Will I overtake them?" "Pursue them," he answered. "You will certainly overtake them and succeed in the rescue."

11 Evangelist replied The desire to do something is proved in the pursuit If you really want to play, you d be taking lessons, you d be practicing, you d be doing something about it if you really desired it I can tell you what you want by what you re chasing!

12 Eph 6: Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.

13 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. 18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.

14 I John. 4:4 tells me greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world

15 Bible says: For God hath not given us the spirit of fear but of power and of love and of a sound mind II Tim. 1:7 -fear comes from our flesh -fear to witness comes from the devil -fear to engage in the battle comes from the mind

16 There is a term in the military when you are advancing in enemy territory and you need support from your fellow soldiers. -called you re covered

18 God is ready to take us out of our foxhole that we ve been hiding in because he wants us to get up, pursue, overtake, and take back everything our adversary, the devil has stolen from us.

19 Jesus came to take over the World.. It s Time for Us to Take Over

20 Ain't No Stoppin Us Now! We're on the move! Ain't No Stoppin Us Now! We've got the groove! There's been so many things that's held us down But now it looks like things are finally comin' around I know we've got, a long long way to go And where we'll end up, I don't know

21 I know you know someone that has a negative vibe And if you're trying to make it they only push you aside They really don't have, no where to go Ask them where they're going, they don't know But we won't let nothin' hold us back We're gonna put our selves together We're gonna polish up our act!
