1 ! 1 A Look Ahead at God s Grand Plan! SYLLABUS Even a brief look at the news these days can prompt all kinds of worries and questions. Will there ever be peace on earth? How long will the world live under the threat of terrorism? Is a one-world ruler on the horizon? God has already provided answers to these questions in the book of Daniel, which sets forth His blueprints for the future. In fact, every other prophecy in the Bible fits somewhere into the plan revealed by Daniel. This easy-to-use study will guide you through a sneak preview of the end of days, replacing your questions with trust in the One who holds the future in His hands. Richard@inworship.org! 2 GOAL: Our primary goal each week is to understand God and His message through His word. Another goal is to learn how to study the scriptures for ourselves. Another goal is to learn how to teach others what we have learned. Special sessions will be held to help beginners understand the inductive method of studying. Thirdly, our goal is to encounter the Lord. We want His words to fill our heart and change our lives. Fourth, we are always looking forward to meeting new friends and having great fellowship. Our primary system of communication will be . is not as popular as texting. Therefore, we will also use REMIND texting to send updates. REMIND TEXTING Everyone needs to be on the class text. See ya! At WIW we are learning how to make our comments really matter. We discuss the scriptures and we do not waste time sharing stories that are not relevant to the discussion. For the most part, we just study the scriptures and talk about what they say, what they mean, how they can be applied to our lives, and how they are transforming our lives. If you have not completed your homework, you still need to come to class, but please refrain from commenting in class. You will be helped greatly if you listen and do the work as we discuss it.
