1 Focus Your Attention on the Middle East! By Dave Watchman Each contributor to The Beast From The East web site does such an excellent job at providing Scriptural evidence proving the Antichrist and his political kingdom will rise out of the Middle East rather than Europe, as traditionally taught. Unfortunately the popular view most widely held today teaches just the opposite! And generally speaking, what is most popular in Christendom is generally not true! Scot Dryer so appropriately said we have inherited lies from our forefathers, as he was referring to Jeremiah 16:19; and frankly I can t think of a better example than this! The problem is that we have been fed this lie for decades, and for most I believe this teaching almost has become a strong delusion in the minds of many Christians today. And because of the stronghold this traditional teaching has on many Christians, I believe the Holy Spirit is going to have to do a special work to renew their minds completely from its grip. For those who are still having trouble breaking this traditional teaching from there mind, I believe the Lord has provided a visual second witness to confirm our Biblical focus should be on the Middle East rather than on Europe! We all know God loves Israel, and called Jacob the apple of his eye (Deut.32:10). Jerusalem of course is God s Holy City, and has been referred to as the navel of the earth. Deuteronomy 32:8 even declares When the Most High divided to the nations their inheritance, when he separated the sons of Adam, he set the bounds of the people according to the number of the children of Israel.

2 If we carefully examine and focus our attention on the modern Middle East Map (since 1917), through the lens of Scripture, we will find the Lord has embedded a beast like figure within the political borders of ALL Middle East Maps! This composite beast from the Middle East is composed of parts of a leopard, a bear, and a lion! Read how John the Revelator painted a word picture for us of this coming beast kingdom in the Middle East. Revelation 13:1-3 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy (Allah). 2.) And the beast (future Islamic Caliphate controlled by the Mahdi) which I saw was like unto a leopard (Syria, Iraq, and Iran in the shape of a leopard s torso), and his feet were as the feet of a bear (Yemen and the top of Libya & Egypt), and his mouth as the mouth of a lion (Turkey): and the dragon (Satan=Allah) gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. 3.) And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death (Turkey/Ottoman Empire died in 1924); and his deadly wound was healed (revived Islamic Caliphate in shape of a beast covering Middle East after 2008): and all the world wondered after the beast. I believe the Lord Jesus gave this vision of the coming revived Islamic Caliphate to John the Revelator, as a visual second witness that the Biblical focus in Scripture is in fact on the Middle East rather than Europe! The Lord knew the last generation would potentially be deceived by this false E.U./Antichrist teaching that is so prevalent today; that is one reason why I believe he went through all this trouble to hide the coming Antichrist kingdom in the map. He also knew we would be bombarded with this image of the beast in our day to day lives. I guarantee you every person reading this article has a picture of this beast kingdom somewhere in his or her possession; or at least has recently seen it on a nightly TV news cast, or the Internet. If you have a globe, Middle East Map, world atlas, school

3 geography textbook, news magazine, newspaper, computer, Internet, television, prophecy book, etc., then please take the time to see it in YOUR MAP! Once you see it hidden in those Middle East political borders, you will be shocked at how many times each week this image of the beast crosses your eyes. I m going to give you two quick examples of what I m talking about. About half way down Rodrigo Silva s excellent article: THE 10 KINGS OF THE BEAST: THEY COME FROM THE EAST, you will find a modern Middle East map that Rodrigo uses to show his 10 individual kingdoms the article is written about. If you will look carefully, you can clearly see the composite leopard, bear, and lion beast image hidden within the political borders of this Middle East Map. Now you who have in your possession Walid Shoebat s great new book: GODS WAR ON TERROR: Islam, Prophecy, and the BIBLE, please turn to page # 308. You will

4 see Walid has placed a black and white map of the Middle East, similar to the one above on the left, which represents the 7 th beast kingdom in Revelation 17:8-14, that was wounded to death in 1924 at the fall of the Ottoman Empire in Turkey! In the three previous pages , Walid provides maps that showcase each one of the 6 previous beast kingdoms (heads) that persecuted Israel. The paragraph just below the Middle East Map reads: We see that, with each succeeding empire, the areas controlled grew larger. Eventually, the Islamic Empire came to control the entire region pictured in the map. This is a somewhat accurate portrayal of the eighth and final Antichrist Empire. The literal and allegorical all fit together-like a hand and glove. Shall I say more? The Lord has hid this image of the beast in ALL modern Middle East Maps to give you Walid, Rodrigo, Joel and ALL who contribute to this excellent web site, a visual second witness to the fact the Bible does indeed focus on the Middle East and NOT Europe as the origin of the coming Antichrist.
