2 Whatever Happened to REPENTANCE?! Preachers talk about repentance with awkwardness and apology rather than with boldness and urgency! They fear that it will make them appear old-fashioned and judgmental.

3 MARTIN LUTHER S 95 THESES 1. Our Lord and Master Jesus Christ willed that the whole life of believers should be repentance. 2. This word cannot be understood to mean sacramental penance., which is administered by the priests. 3. Yet it means not inward repentance only; nay, there is no inward repentance, which does not outwardly work divers mortifications of the flesh.

15 What Is REPENTANCE? Repentance Is At The Heart Of Kingdom Message Matthew summarizes Jesus preaching ministry with a single line: REPENT, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. The good news of the Kingdom is a message of REPENTANCE.

16 All sin must be given up or else you will never have Christ. All transgression must be renounced or else the gates of heaven must be barred against you TRUE REPENTANCE is the turning of the heart as well as of the life.
