HYMN COME, THOU FOUNT OF EVERY BLESSING Come, thou fount of every blessing, tune my heart to sing thy grace! Streams of mercy, never ceasing, call for songs of loudest praise. Teach me some melodious sonnet, sung by flaming tongues above. Praise the mount! Oh, fix me on it, mount of God s unchanging love. MORNING DEVOTIONS
HYMN COME, THOU FOUNT OF EVERY BLESSING Here I find my greatest treasure; hither by thy help I ve come; and I hope, by thy good pleasure, safely to arrive at home. Jesus sought me when a stranger, wandering from the fold of God; he, to rescue me from danger, interposed his precious blood. MORNING DEVOTIONS
HYMN COME, THOU FOUNT OF EVERY BLESSING Oh to grace how great a debtor daily I m constrained to be! Let thy goodness, like a fetter, bind my wandering heart to thee: prone to wander, Lord, I feel it, prone to leave the God I love; here s my heart, oh take and seal it, seal it for thy courts above. MORNING DEVOTIONS
PSALM 51 - PRAYED IN UNISON WITH A PAUSE AT THE ASTERISK Open my lips, O Lord, * and my mouth shall proclaim your praise. Create in me a clean heart, O God, * and renew a right spirit within me. Cast me not away from your presence * and take not your holy Spirit from me. MORNING DEVOTIONS
PsALM 51, CONTINUED Give me the joy of your saving help again * and sustain me with your bountiful Spirit. Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit: as it was in the beginning, is now, and will be for ever. Amen. MORNING DEVOTIONS
THE COLLECT Officiant The Lord be with you. People And also with you. Officiant Let us pray. Almighty and everliving God, source of all wisdom and understanding, be present with those who take counsel in the Diocese of Georgia for the renewal and mission of your Church. Teach us in all things to seek first your honor and glory. Guide us to perceive what is right, and grant us both the courage to pursue it and the grace to accomplish it; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. MORNING DEVOTIONS
A READING Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them. When they saw him, they worshipped him; but some doubted. And Jesus came and said to them, All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age. Matthew 28:16-20 MORNING DEVOTIONS
ThE ApostlEs CREEd Officiant and People together, all standing I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth; I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord. He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended to the dead. MORNING DEVOTIONS
On the third day he rose again. He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen. MORNING DEVOTIONS
PRAYERS AND THANKSGIVINGS- may be offered silently or aloud THE LORD S PRAYER - traditional language, said in unison Officiant People Let us bless the Lord. Thanks be to God. MORNING DEVOTIONS

Officiant People O God, make speed to save us. O Lord, make haste to help us. Officiant and People: Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit: as it was in the beginning, is now, and will be for ever. Amen. Alleluia. NOONDAY PRAYER
HYMN IMMORTAL, INVISIBLE Verse 1 Immortal, invisible, God only wise, in light inaccessible, hid from our eyes, most blessed, most glorious, the Ancient of Days, almighty, victorious, thy great Name we praise. NOONDAY PRAYER
HYMN IMMORTAL, INVISIBLE Verse 2 Unresting, unhasting, and silent as light, nor wanting, nor wasting, thou rulest in might; thy justice like mountains high soaring above thy clouds, which are fountains of goodness and love. NOONDAY PRAYER
HYMN IMMORTAL, INVISIBLE Verse 3 To all life thou givest, to both great and small; in all life thou livest, the true life of all; we blossom and flourish, like leaves on the tree, then whither and perish; but nought changeth thee. NOONDAY PRAYER
HYMN IMMORTAL, INVISIBLE Verse 4 Thou reignest in glory, thou rulest in light, thine angels adore thee, all veiling their sight; all laud we would render: O help us to see tis only the splendor of light hideth thee. NOONDAY PRAYER
PSALM Said in unison with a pause at the asterisk When the LORD restored the fortunes of Zion, * then were we like those who dream. Then was our mouth filled with laughter, * and our tongue with shouts of joy. Then they said among the nations, * The LORD has done great things for them. The LORD has done great things for us, * and we are glad indeed. NOONDAY PRAYER
Restore our fortunes, O LORD, * like the watercourses of the Negev. Those who sowed with tears * will reap with songs of joy. Those who go out weeping, carrying the seed, * will come again with joy, shouldering their sheaves. Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit: as it was in the beginning, is now, and will be for ever. Amen. NOONDAY PRAYER
A READING Jesus said, You are the salt of the earth; but if salt has lost its taste, how can its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything, but is thrown out and trampled under foot. You are the light of the world. A city built on a hill cannot be hid. No one after lighting a lamp puts it under the bushel basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven. NOONDAY PRAYER
Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the prophets; I have come not to abolish but to fulfill. For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth pass away, not one letter, not one stroke of a letter, will pass from the law until all is accomplished. Therefore, whoever breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches others to do the same, will be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does them and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. -Matthew 5:13 19 NOONDAY PRAYER
Officiant People Officiant Lord, have mercy. Christ, have mercy. Lord, have mercy. THE LORD S PRAYER - traditional language, said in unison Officiant People Officiant Lord, hear our prayer; And let our cry come to you. Let us pray. NOONDAY PRAYER
O Lord our God, grant that your Church, following the teaching of your servant Leo of Rome, may hold fast the great mystery of our redemption, and adore the one Christ, true God and true Man, neither divided from our human nature nor separate from your divine Being; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen. NOONDAY PRAYER
Almighty and everlasting Father, you have given the Holy Spirit to abide with us for ever: Bless, we pray, with his grace and presence, the bishops and the other clergy and the laity here assembled in your Name, that your Church, being preserved in true faith and godly discipline, may fulfill all the mind of him who loved it and gave himself for it, your Son Jesus Christ our Savior; who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen. Officiant People Let us bless the Lord. Thanks be to God. NOONDAY PRAYER

PROPOSED CANONICAL CHANGES The proposed changes end the use of the term Mission to refer to a congregation of the Diocese. All congregations are either a Parish or an Aided Parish. It eliminates the monthly reports now required of 26 currently designated missions. The proposal necessitates two additional changes: 1. determine delegate representation at Diocesan Convention, and, 2. oversight of investment funds.
