What did she tell him she had? (Ask one part at a time) Elijah asked the widow to bring for him a little water in a cup that I may drink and a piece of bread that I may eat. She told him that she does not have bread. She only had a handful of flour in a bin. Elijah asked the widow for water and bread. Aquila and Priscilla They were surprised to see that Apollos did not talk about our Lord Jesus Christ. They were surprised to see that Apollos did not talk about our Lord Jesus Christ. He did not talk about His birth from St. Mary the Virgin, His death on the Cross to save us and about His resurrection. They realized that all his teachings were only from the Old Testament. (pg 24) 2. What was Apollos talented in explaining? OR What was Apollos talent? Apollos was very talented in explaining the Old Testament.
