CDM Regulations 205 Having discussed with the Archdeacons, DAC Chairman, Chancellor and Deputy Diocesan Registrar the Senior Church Building Officer proposes inclusion of a proviso on the NOA of all projects including construction works intended to draw the attention of PCCs to their responsibilities under the Construction Design Management Regulations 205. The PCC should be aware that it may have responsibilities for health and safety during these works under the Construction Design Management Regulations 205. 2 The DAC resolved to support this proposal. Bishop s directions for memorials inside the church Highmoor Cross St Paul This church is closed and prior to completion of the sale the DAC is consulted regarding the proposed disposal method of memorials within the church. It is suggested that the war memorial is relocated to the Highmoor Memorial Hall in the village, and the two other memorials (one to a previous churchwarden and the other to a previous vicar) are to remain in situ and to be included in the sale (following due attempts to contact the heirs at law) so as to minimise damage to the fabric. There is currently no mechanism for the DAC to be consulted regarding the disposal of the contents of the church although the SCBO proposes this becomes local working practice in the future. The disposal of contents is subject to Listed Building Consent and the amenity societies are consulted during the publication of the draft pastoral scheme for disposal. The DAC resolved to support the proposals set out within the Bishops Directions.
