Because you are faithful, we come to you now to make our petitions known to you. We pray for the church and its leaders, especially Michael, our Presiding Bishop; Holly and Jay, our bishops; Anne and Lorna, our priests; Kathy, our deacon; and Carol, John, and Travis, our associate clergy. We pray for your guidance in our discernment process. May we continue to be living witnesses for you. We pray for the global community and for all of the world s leaders, especially Donald, our President, and Terry, our Governor. Enable us to serve those in need and to work for peace. We pray for all those who are cheated and abused. Help us be advocates for the powerless, that we might enact godly justice. We pray for your creation. Hilton Area Churches Blood Drive The Hilton Area Churches Blood Drive will be this Thursday, November 15 at Hilton Presbyterian Church from 1:30 to 6:00 p.m. Fellowship This Week The Fellowship Luncheon will be Wednesday, November 14 at noon in the Parish Hall. The purpose of this session is to present the results of the Bishop Survey and to facilitate a conversation with those present. For anyone interested in the Mission Share Resolution to be presented at Council in 2019, you are invited to join the Mission Share Task Force

Service Dogs Welcome at St. Andrew s Animals are one of God s great gifts to us. The loyalty and affection of our pets and service animals can be for us a reminder of the way God loves us completely and abundantly. What a blessing that some animals are able to serve as helpers and companions to humans who need a little extra help! Service dogs are always welcome at St. Andrew s. Today s Offertory Anthem Today s Offertory anthem was originally written in 1994 for the BBC TV comedy series, The Vicar of Dibley. It is a setting of The Lord Is My Shepherd (Psalm 23) written by Howard Goodall. Due to the popularity of the TV series, it the only version of the Psalm that many under the age of 30 in the United Kingdom and Australia know. Anne and John Away Anne and John will be in Colorado November for Continuing Education, attending the annual conference of the Society of Biblical Literature.
