I am Ji-Gong Living Buddha, with the order of Heavenly Mother, I have arrived at this secular world and already bowed to Heavenly Mother. Now I am asking my disciples: Are you peaceful? Next time when you come to this Temple, do invite your friends and relatives to learn and understand the preciousness of Tao. If you really have faith in Tao, it s always advisable to share this wonderful message with everyone you know. It takes affinity for a person to meet up with another person. Similarly it takes deeper affinity for a person to encounter Buddhas. Now this Temple is established here. Carefully ponder upon this; it doesn t come easily. Make sure you cherish and take good care of it. All the humans have been suffering lives after lives without even realising that they are trapped in the cycle. That is why Buddhas are always trying different ways to teach and enlighten the sentient beings in order to save their spiritual lives/souls. What if one day they (the people from Taiwan) do not come again, what do you think? The sentient beings over here would be most pitiful. Now you see Buddhas/ Deities using this holy medium to give a lecture, and yet you do not understand Tao, so doubt and suspicion will arise in your mind. However, remember all the Buddhas/Deities are equally merciful; they are only using the most convenient way to teach and enlighten people. So when you go back home, remember to share the message of Tao with your relatives and friends. By doing so you re helping and saving them. Sakyamuni Buddha is said to have devoted his lifetime giving lectures preaching the heavenly gospel in order to help and save people. That happened thousands of years ago. Now it s time this country should be revived with his teachings, because these teachings represent the supreme dharma that can help and save all sentient beings here in India. Unfortunately people are obsessed with money, desire and power. Hence, they are losing their true nature! At the sight of this, I m full of sadness and worry, so I can understand perfectly well the frustrations and obstacles these people from afar (Taiwanese) face and tackle in the journey of propagating Tao here. Here in this world the rich enjoy all the luxuries while the poors desires and lusts are even more than others. Maybe these are things you need to personally experience; otherwise, no matter what people say, you still won t understand. That s why you have got to walk through this journey yourself. You come all the way from afar, good for you! Each time you come, I hope you come with a stronger 1

driving force as well as a strengthened faith in God. Your Holy Teacher said he felt so bad when he heard your desperate outcries. In fact he never wants to see you grieve or suffer. Now he wants to pass a message to you: No matter how painful, tiring and distressing the task may seem, give your Holy Teacher one more year, work even harder to help and save the people here. During this coming year, adjust and take good care of yourself. Pull yourself together and cheer up. God will arrange good affinities for you. The fact that you are able to receive Tao shows your deep affinity with Buddhas, so when you are free, come back often to this Temple. Maybe you just come to say hello to the Buddhas or the people here, that s fine too. Maybe you can help with some Temple works too. Buddhas are always helping and saving people. It is their hope that everyone can live a better life, not merely by having good physical health, but more importantly, by transcending the cycle of reincarnation. Now you are here, I hope you appreciate this Temple and like it; what you are doing here is to help people of this country to cease their pains and sufferings, stop them from going through the cycle of reincarnation forever. We do have a very deep affinity, and I hope to continue this affinity forever, for it s the affinity that makes us work together in helping and saving people over here. Will you work with me? (Yes!) There are so many things that I need you to help. As you are new in this country, you are unfamiliar with the culture here. However, your small contribution can make a tremendous difference, because you can make them understand how precious Tao is. Now I am here and witness a world drastically different from what it used to be. I am wondering if you still remember me. I also wonder how many pains and hardships you still need to suffer. That is why I am here today - to remind you to seize this golden opportunity and don t let it go. When you see the water rippling, it s because your heart is rippling, so you think the water is rippling. Hence your heart determines all thoughts and existence. That is why we hope you will often come back to this Temple, to learn to cultivate a pure and calm heart. This holy water is blessed and given by Buddhas. It can give you peace and wisdom. This is wonderful, so you have to gratefully come back to this Temple as often as you can. And you can extend Buddhas mercy and compassion to even more people, let them know about Buddhas great love for all sentient beings. Buddhas/Deities are aware that you are doing very well in every aspect, and your Holy Teacher should have a greater expectation of you. People over here need you to tell them how precious Tao is, so you must often come back to help them gain a deeper understanding of Tao. 2

How are you? (We are fine!) Are you fine coming to this Temple? (Yes!) Which Buddhas do you worship here? (Sakyamuni Buddha, Ji-Gong Living Buddha, Indian gods, and...) There is no differentiation between this Buddha and that Buddha, right? (Right!) Similarly, all Buddhas treat sentient beings with no difference, because they are equally merciful and compassionate towards them. All Buddhas are kind and merciful; I hope you can sincerely emulate the spirits of Buddhas. When I reach out my hand to save you, I hope you can also reach out yours to the sentient beings and save them. Now you are here in this Temple, why don t you settle your heart in here? You may not understand well, but if you can calm down your heart, listen attentively with your heart, I am sure you can learn many wonderful truths. Will you extend your helping hand to people just like what I am doing now to you? The purpose of receiving Tao is to learn the loving kindness and compassion from the Buddhas. It is easy hence you should be able to do it. Buddhas never discriminate against the poor or the ugly. As long as you are willing, you can all be kind and merciful, just like Buddhas. No one can choose their family, but they can choose how to live their lives. From the moment that you receive Tao, no matter where you are, you can choose to lead a better life. This is because you have a Buddha within your heart, and you have let Tao entered your daily life. Look at all these people from Taiwan. Although they don t understand your language, yet they are willing to tell you how precious Tao is. Don t you think you should say thank-you to them? (Thank you!) What if somebody hits you, would you be angry? (Yes.) What if Holy Teacher takes your belongings, will you be angry? (No!) Why, what is the difference? You don t feel angry because you know it is Holy Teacher who takes your belongings, right? (Yes.) Actually, we have to use an impartial heart to treat and face all matters in life. You come back to this Temple to learn Tao, do remember to bow to the Buddhas and follow their merciful and compassionate acts. If a person is always filled with vexations and is angry most of the time, would he look good? (No.) So you must always maintain a happy temperament. You are still new in here, so you don t understand the Temple very well. Just like the song on the whiteboard, it is a Chinese song hence you don t know how to sing. But if you sing it repetitively, you will be able to learn it by heart. Do say kind words to people often, just like the way Buddhas take care of you and shower love to sentient beings. You are taking me for a Chinese Buddha, now this Chinese buddha has come to India and turned into an Indian Buddha to love and save you. So from now on, I want you to pay full attention: First, know me, Ji-Gong Living Buddha. Second, learn from me. Third, love me. And fourth, help me. How can you help me? Listen carefully to the Tao lectures and share what you learn with your relatives and friends. Invite them to receive Tao. 3

You should also know him, Tao Transmitting Master Tsen. He has some great virtues that others lack; for example, he loves the people here and cares about you too much. He is often worried about your not boarding this dharma boat. So you should get to understand him. When you reach home, tell your relatives and friends how people here in this Temple are loving and caring about you. Invite them to board this dharma boat by receiving Tao. Don t you think the Tao lectures are wonderful? (Yes!) All in all, Tao is teaching you how to spread your love and how to follow Buddhas loving and compassionate way. All humans come in different skin colors: white, yellow, and some with a darker skin tone. Holy Teacher asks: What skin color do we have? Whatever your skin color is, in this Temple you all look equally beautiful. As you can see in the Temple, what skin colors do Buddhas have? Some are white, some black, and some yellow, but all are beautiful. So regardless of skin color, as long as you understand Tao, you ll be like Buddhas, who see and love all mankind in an equal way. Over here in this Temple you ll see that Tao transcends any differences and has no discrimination. Only Tao can treat everyone in an equal way, and only Tao can cease your birth-and-death reincarnation. In Holy Teacher s heart, you all look good and beautiful to me because you are my disciples. As you have a good appearance, you should maintain an ordinary attitude toward life, make your life be filled with meanings and directions. You often judge people by appearance. For example, this one is tall and that one is short. But when these two persons fight, who will win? (The stronger one.) Hence appearance can be deceiving. Analogically, any judgment that is based merely on appearance is hazardous because it s incomplete. It can be very far from the truth. Come back often to this Temple, so that you can get to know me and understand me, Ji-Gong Living Buddha. In addition, you have to understand the Truth, then will you know what Tao is. Devote all your efforts to the sentient beings, but leave the result to God, be it success or failure. By doing so, you can walk far ahead and your footsteps will be firmer. 4

Now you have initiated the affinity and this represents hope for the people here. Work with an aim and persist for one more year. After one year, if you want to leave, I will not force you to stay. You can decide whether to stay or leave. But be sure to figure out your aim and make a good plan for this coming year. What is your aim then? (Proceed with faith.) How to manage things well is most important. Just try your best; the result (success or failure) is not important. Any place, any country, once you have been there, you ll miss it after leaving it, just like you often miss everything here when you go back to Taiwan. Now I m here supporting you with your Tao works, but give me time first. So far, they haven t attained the state of making initial pledge, so they don t know how to help you. But wait until they are awakened to the great Truth, they will voluntarily come to your aid. By then, Holy Teacher will provide help in whatever you need. Open up people s tightly closed hearts. When you succeed in doing so, you ll see how much they are touched and how grateful they feel. Those who sow in tears will reap with songs of joy. So proceed with faith. Allow them one more year to comprehend what you are going through (the sufferings). Everyone has different karma/affinities, which vary from place to place. You have to understand that their sufferings and bitterness are so much more, hence you should learn from them as well. You have got to learn to plant trees, because only by planting trees will you be able to establish deep roots. What you can see now is only one aspect and not the whole picture. You have your personalities and they have their thoughts; you need to find a balance and learn the culture here. Tao cultivation is done via step by step learning. Every step you take, you learn and adjust yourself. When you are ready and steady, you ll feel exhilarated and uplifted. Then all your efforts will pay off. This is going to be a rough and bumpy ride. And simply because it is rough and bumpy, we need to proceed with even more courage. Simply because it is rough and bumpy, we want to take this challenge and conquer it. I m saying this in order to arouse you inner strength to fight. You all have confidence, so we have every reason to try harder. Everyone has different karma/affinities, which lead to different choices. Keep in mind that we are achieving something very, very unusual. Coming here we meet again. Don t underestimate yourself. I understand your grieves and pains very well, and I care about you always, which is no less than how much your family cares for you. So don t worry and take good care of yourself. Step by step, get closer to Tao and fulfill your initial pledge to save people, which is what you should do to in order not to disappoint God s grace and Holy Teacher s expectation. 5

When you cultivate Tao, you got to strive for merits and wisdom. Merits and virtues need to be accumulated. So when you invite people to receive Tao, or when you are carrying out the Temple duties, all Buddhas/Deities will help you even more. Enrich yourself with the knowledge of Tao. Invite more people to receive Tao. Come with me, help and save the sentient beings over here, will you? (Yes!) Cultivation of Tao shouldn t go slowly, because the karma/affinity has been initiated and once it starts up, you have to accelerate your pace. Grasp every moment to cultivate and propagate Tao. Those who have received the candies should come back often. Don t complain by saying it s too tiring and troublesome, just come to the Temple and learn as much as you can. Here you listen to the Tao lectures, feel the mercy of Holy Teacher, also you can learn from them (the Taiwanese), so you must pay attention. What is your aim for the future? Do you want to go back to Heaven? (Yes.) Do you want to learn how to help and save people? (Yes.) This is exactly what our aim is. Every time I come, I would like to see that you have improved and acquired a better understanding of Tao. By lecturing to the audience you also elevate yourself; you become wiser and are more harmonious in helping them grow spiritually. This is known as Tao cultivation. In the process of cultivation you taste various flavors, which make your life more extraordinary and valuable. Normally Buddhas are merciful, but if they are too merciful to a person, the latter would never become a strong and true cultivator in the mission of Tao propagation. So should Buddhas not be merciful to him? (Right.) Is Buddhas mercifulness necessarily good for him? In fact, Buddhas by being not merciful will actually help him to experience and learn even more. So it is generally believed that Holy Teacher is not merciful. Do you want me to be merciful or not merciful? You should say, Teacher, don t be too merciful. Ever since the beginning, Holy Teacher has been hoping you to elevate and improve yourself; Holy Teacher feels heartache whenever any one of you suffers. Today I come here very willingly! Everyone is equally important and should play their roles properly. Don t shrink from whatever difficulties you encounter. No matter what issues/problems you face, be willing and bear no grudge. I come here willingly; I even relieve your mind by telling you when I will be coming, because I don t want you to get worry. So you should also be willing to speak on behalf of Heaven, preaching the message of Tao. Play your roles well, do it willingly and cheerfully, work concertedly in writing a new page in history. Let s make this White Sun Era a period of glory and triumph. This is all dependent on you! 6

Before you re ready to proceed with the task, you should set a consistent direction. Are you ready now? (Yes.) How much confidence do you have? Work with faith and don t lag behind. You will know what to do. Are you regretting now? Do you want to shrink from fear? (No.) Take a step back and you will feel relieved. There have been times that I let you reconsider whether you are to stay or to leave. So you want to give up now? (No.) You may be wondering why things have turned out completely different from what they seemed. But that is the way life has to be. Without experiencing tests and trials, you would never grow. So what is your next step? Are you going to step forward, backward or simply allow fate/destiny to decide for you? Let me use an example to make things clearer to you. For instance, will a fisherman consider the place where most fishes can be found and then head for the place? Or once he has caught his fishes, he will keep the bigger fishes and release the smaller ones back to the water? Usually the fisherman will go to any place where there are fishes, just like you have to go to any place to cross and save sentient beings. All sentient beings have Buddha nature; the only issue is whether you are willing to show your compassion to which of them. So did I not show my compassion for you? I can see you still confused about mercy and non-mercy. My showing non-mercy for you means I am merciful to you. Since you are so knowledgeable, are you clear about this logic? To tell you the truth, however, this is something you can t find in books. What is your goal now? Set your goal and just do your best. Do you like it here? If you like it, this means that you have improved yourself. If you don t like it, this means that you have been stepping on the same spot (have not moved forward and show improvement), understand? If you can understand me, you ll do it more willingly and cheerfully. But if not, you will have to adjust yourself. When the opportunity comes to you, seize it and do the best you can. But before that, you need to know what you are doing. Once you are clear about what you are going to do and the purpose behind it, you will feel much joy and happiness. When you give, it is you that grow and benefit the most, though you have to put off your job and leave behind your family. This is a precious affinity that enables all of us to work together for such a great cause. Tiring and exhausting it may be, you still like this place. This is something very unusual! As I can see, your conversation and behavior all reveal your great fondness of this place. Humans always think and worry a lot! In fact, even if you think/worry much, you won t necessarily do better. Affinities are arranged by God; you can t really change anything. So all you can do now is to improve yourself and one day, when you prove yourself to be reliable, they will 7

be able to accept and understand what you are doing. What is your aim? (Keep moving forward.) Actually, God has already paved a way that is becoming clearer, can you see it? (Yes.) You should be able to see it, because every year you can see some difference being made. The future path, the future prospect, gets even clearer now. So you set a definite goal for yourself, calm down and give me some time, also give yourself some time; let s work together to help and save even more sentient beings over here. Buddhas cannot force sentient beings to do anything. Rather, Buddhas guide them to the right direction, educating them about the importance of making and fulfilling their holy vows. All of my disciples are equally talented, no matter what roles you play in your lives. Why do you have to come to this Temple? To find your Buddha heart and recover your true self. How tall is Buddha? How far away is Buddha? In fact, Buddhas are neither tall nor far away from you. Do you understand Buddhas, or Buddhas understand you? If you get close to Buddhas, Buddhas will then understand you. But you get further apart from Buddhas, Buddhas will not be able to understand you. Which is most important, the thumb or the other four fingers? (They are all important.) Similarly, you are all important in the eyes of Buddhas. It does not matter if you re born here or there, tall or short, black or white. Everyone is equally important. Think about this: When a flower is in full blossom, do you like it? (Yes.) But after it has blossomed, it s also time to wither, isn t it? (Yes.) This is also true of the existence in the world. Now the sun is rising, but it will set. What you can hold onto is the present. Cherish what you have now. Cherish the Tao you ve received and seize every moment to cultivate it. This is a golden opportunity for you to help and save people s spiritual lives. Never ever forget this! People tend to think of affinity as something that is very simple. It is like a thread. Your thought arises which splits it into two. Last night you were unable to sleep (due to too much worry) and one more thread is added. At the end, your ever-rising thoughts become more complex, resulting in more threads (and entanglements). The whole thing becomes a complicated knot. In fact, the thread is controlled by God. What you should do is hold on to one end and let God manage the other end. If things get too complicated, you ll likely get trapped in a web of thoughts, which will make you unable to help and save the people here. Ever since it got started, the affinity has experienced a constant process of accumulations and changes. In the process you ll see different kinds of people: some people just come and go, some are prejudiced, and some set their eyes solely on money. Despite all these differences, the path for 8

humans to reach Heaven still exists. It never gets entangled or twisted. So now, it s time for you to calm your heart down and make a good plan for the future. God naturally helps you in whatever you do. Can t you see it s getting better now? (Yes.) So how do you manage this thread? Remember, you can only handle one end; the other end has to be controlled by God. Hence, God is deeply affected whenever you try hard in making the best of every affinity. This is that simple! Stay calm and settle your heart down. Do not move. When you move but yet I am motionless, this means that you are losing your patience. Think about this: It s also not right if you re not moving while I feel like moving away. Since you re doing God s works, you should follow God s footsteps. Right now God is arranging the affinities for you, do you have faith? (Yes.) So when you knock on people s doors inviting them to the Temple, knock with courage and knock out loud. What if people still don t open their doors? Knock today, knock tomorrow, knock on continually. Your sincerity and honesty will eventually touch them and make them willingly open their doors. So you must persist and not give up! You must always tell yourself, Aside from me, who else could do the job? So take on this great mission and proceed with this long journey. God is always making the best arrangement, which is reflective of your presence here. Cherish this affinity. It is something very unusual and doesn t come easily. Buddha means mercy, compassion, and wisdom, which are given to all the sentient beings, the general public. So when you learn Tao, you re learning to acquire mercy and wisdom, learning how to help and save people, learning how to love yourself. Being your Holy Teacher, I m always residing in your heart. Hope you have faith in me. As long as you help me (no matter how much the effort is), I will help you with the rest making everything go smoothly and every task achieved harmoniously. Tao is great; it is meant to help and save all the sentient beings here. Letting those who are willing to accept Tao truly attain eternal happiness and find their true self. Not only should you inscribe buddha in your heart, but I also hope you can further extend your hands to bring more sentient beings to board this dharma boat. Coming to this Temple, you re becoming wiser and more intelligent, because you are learning to carry out Buddha s works, learning to contribute. When we are helping others, it is of utmost importance to tell them how precious it is to receive Tao and how urgent it is for them to grasp this opportunity to receive Tao. How do you feel about this Temple? (Very good.) How good is it? (Very good, I like it very much.) 9

Do you like me, Ji-Gong Living Buddha? How much do you like me? (Very, very much.) Since you like me so much, why don t you invite me to your house? If you like me, mere talking is not enough, you have to put it into practice. (I want to invite even more people to receive Tao, introduce everybody to the Holy Teacher, Ji-Gong Living Buddha.) I have been waiting for your help, ever since my first encounter with you. If you really like me, you should make more people get acquainted with me, Ji-Gong Living Buddha. Since you said you like me, Ji-Gong, then I m giving myself (the Ji-Gong Living Buddha statue) to you. Put me at a place which you think is appropriate, all right? (Yes.) I ve never done this (giving of Buddha statue) to anybody before - never ever before - so you have got to cross and save sentient beings, understand? (Yes.) In order to support and encourage you to cultivate Tao, in order to better your family, I sacrifice myself, put myself in any place you like, so you have to be my best disciple. Take me back home and worship. You ll be wiser and more peaceful. If you help me, I ll certainly be helping you. Looking at the statue everyday and you will be very happy. Enrich yourself with the understanding of Tao in the first place. Then you can help support and encourage others to do the same. When you come here, also invite your family. With the passing of time, your family can lead a better and happier life. I hope you can come to this Temple more often, braving all the obstacles and bitterness. For the sake of all the sentient beings over here, you got to put in your best effort in crossing and saving them. ORACLE Sidelights Coming to India for the propagation of Tao is a memorable experience for us. Here in Delhi, walking along the dusty and bumpy roads sandwiched by artistic Hindu temples and beautiful residences, we notice huts and shacks that altogether construct a bizarre landscape. As travelers from afar, we found ourselves placed in the spotlight where the locals keep staring at us with wide-open curious eyes. In such an ancient country which is abound with myths/legends, we can t help but feel a sense of mystic in the air. In the Tao Seminar, Venerable Subuti first arrived by using the Holy Medium s physical body. As he looked at the class, he was full of tears. Now I am here to witness a world drastically different from what it used to be, he said, Only Tao can transcend all differences and discrimination. He sighed over the swift passing of time; he grimaced at seeing the disappearance of the spirit of equality that existed during Buddha s time. The caste system results in the rich enjoying all the luxuries, while the poor s pursuit of insatiable desires only end them up with endless complaints. Only via learning Tao in this Temple, can a person really attain equality. Even so, propagating Tao over here is not an easy task, so our Holy Teacher, Ji-Gong Living Buddha, wanted him to relay a message to us: However painful, tiring and unbearable the situation is, for the sake of the sentient beings, please give me one year of time. 10

And when Ji-Gong Living Buddha came, it was Chinese New Year s time. He brought the whole Temple to the zenith of high spirits of festivity. He composed several holy songs like The Free-From-Sorrow Herb, Be Willing, hoping we can pluck up our courage to brave all obstacles and continue our Tao cultivation. Buddhas mercy, compassion, and wisdom need to be spread around the world, and we all play crucial roles, so we shouldn t be bound by skin colors, but rather hold on to the foresight, cherish this golden opportunity to learn, to cultivate, and to propagate Tao. Those who sow in tears will reap with songs of joy. Holy Teacher wanted us to set an aim and make a good plan, just do our very best. We are making the White Sun Era even more glorious and tremendous. And we have to make it! In order to support and encourage the class members to cultivate Tao, Holy Teacher composed the Holy Revelations with the topic of AIM. It is our concerted hope that the wonderful message of I-Kuan Tao can be propagated all over the world, saving the world by bringing peace and order to it. For this purpose, of course, each and everyone of us should dedicate our efforts to help fulfill our Holy Teacher s vows, making the whole world attain realization and perfection in the near future. 11
