Or are you assuming a little here? Moses: Uhmm, Let me just check to make sure.

3 Moses: Oh dear I see this is not going well. A small group of people possesses everything while the majority of man is starving. Everywhere I see tense people who are lost. I see wars and conflicts wherever I look! God: Still?! How often must I explain things to them? Indeed they are stubborn!

5 God: Go ahead Moses, give it try. Tsippora: You men think you can change people by imposing rules from above. But rational approaches and solutions do not lead to permanent change. Real change should come from the inside. Moses: I m sorry God, my wife always thinks she knows better. God: Ah, well your method has not produced much yet Moses, she might be right. Moses: Well Tsippora, if you know better, how would you proceed? Tsippora: I would let people change from the inside. Once people are interconnected again, change will follow on its own accord. So I would let them flirt! Moses & God: Flirt?! Tsippora: Yes, I will go to earth and bring the people the Ten Flirting Commandments!

6 Dear Reader, First of all allow me to introduce myself. My name is Tsippora, I am the wife of Moses, and it is truly my pleasure to visit you in the 21 st century. Your planet is bursting with intelligence and on the technological and rational levels you have made extraordinary progress. But I could not help but notice that your spiritual development seems to have been pushed aside in favour of many many other things. So I have come to support you in this development process. 8 Well now, the reason for all the misery on our planet is the fact that people have become wrapped up or bound. A child is not yet familiar with this problem. Being wrapped up is something for the grownups. How often can you say you are in a state of liberation or openness? Once a week, a month, a year? Can you unhesitatingly say you are happy every single day?

9 If we grownups could be in a state of openness more often, we would live life effortlessly. We would trust each other completely; our hearts and minds would be interconnected. We would experience submission rather than aggression, open-mindedness instead of judgement. A child is spontaneous and open; a child does not build a wall around himself and is able to connect with others quite easily. A child will address another child and ask him if he would like to play together. The contact is made in no time and they may well spend the entire afternoon having fun.

10 Growing up we tend to slowly but surely build a wall around us; a wall of fear, ego and conditioned behaviour. This wall prevents us from connecting with others.

11 Fear A human being is a creature that knows ego and fear and there is nothing wrong with that. The ego allows us to consider ourselves to be individuals and thanks to fear we are able to survive. If a tiger were to run into your room right now, fear would make you run away and seek protection. This is called functional fear. Leave this fear as it is Other fears, however, present an obstacle. For instance fear of what the future might have in store, fear of how another might feel about you, fear of addressing someone, fear of rejection and the fear of failure. These kinds of fear are not functional and prevent you from functioning in a balanced way and simply being happy. So make sure to abandon this fear as quickly as you can.

12 Ego If the ego is off balance, the ego too will stop you from connecting with others. You will continuously seek prestige and appreciation, the need to receive all credit, the tendency to protect yourself, the urge do everything perfectly, the need to have everything under control and strive for power, status and money. If the ego is trained into thinking that you are not perfect just the way you are, life will start organising itself to justify the lack for self-respect. It will be drawn to experiences that confirm the lack of perfection.

13 Conditioning Conditioning is about many acquired behavioural patterns and convictions. Many of these are quite useful, others however simply frustrate your daily functioning. So on this journey along the Ten Flirting Commandments I would like to invite you to scrutinise your convictions and patterns of behaviour.

14 If the wall of fear, ego and conditioned behaviour is too thick, this means you are a wrapped up person. The trick is to unwrap yourself. This unwrapping process will have a liberating effect; it will make life lighter and will allow you to connect with others more easily.

15 With the Ten Flirting Commandments I offer you a way to unwrap yourself. To step aside from being wrapped up and complicated to being developed and creative. To go from: 1) aggressive to connected 2) ignorant to self-confident 3) judgemental to observant 4) closed attitude to open attitude 5) talking to communicating 6) taking up space to giving space 7) rational to intuitive 8) insecure to self-assured 9) herd instinct to authentic 10) stressful to peaceful

16 (1) Thou shalt connect A human creature is part of a whole, which we refer to as the universe. Because this part is constrained in time and space the human being experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings, as separated from the rest of the universe, an optical rendering of his consciousness. This image is a prison to us, limiting us to our personal longings and affection for those people who are closest to our hearts. It is our task to free ourselves from this prison by expanding the circle of compassion and embracing all living creatures and the entire nature with all its beauty. 17 Tsippora: Quantum physics recently proved what 2800 years of ancient Indian wisdom already made clear - All is interconnected! We are all one!

18 Tsippora: The Beatles musical group did not consist of four men with musical instruments. They were interconnected, and presented one unity! If creativity, inspiration, experience, input, passion and talent come together, people can surpass themselves. This is possible if people connect and inspire each other. The same applies to a football team, a company and humanity as a whole, and also to personal relationships. I explained this to Moses several times, but he just did not seem to be able to understand

19 Tsippora: Instead of connecting, it seems as if society on earth is focused on pushing people away instead of bringing them together. I see this everywhere. Take politics for instance, where the we-they mentality grows inexorably. Look at the Muslims and other immigrant communities; people are even locked out because of their origin! Another example is parochialism within organisations. The head office or that department and employee and employer. I thought all the organisations and all the staffs in them shared the same mission. How much time does it take you to think yes or no? You can talk to someone for an hour, yet in 95% of all cases the decision is taken in the first couple of minutes. Conditioned behaviour: Finish the one-hour interview. New age: Follow your intuition, connect and respectfully ask the other person how he or she feels about this first contact.

22 Bound or connected? How do you stand in life? Are you bound or connected? Being bound means you are stuck to something without necessarily wanting this yourself. It is about dependency and restriction. Being connected means you are connected to something on the basis of your own choices. It is about freedom and possibilities.
