1 TRANSCRIPT (19-08) FRANCE IS BETRAYING AMERICA AND FULFILLING BIBLE PROPHECY PART 3 NOVEMBER 29, 2018 VOICEOVER: The Key of David with Gerald Flurry. GERALD FLURRY: Greetings, everyone. Last week I showed you how biblical Reuben IS the father of modern-day France, and Reuben betrayed his brother, Joseph, ANCIENTLY. And of course, Joseph had two sons Ephraim and Manasseh, which are Britain and America today, that is modernday Joseph. So if we look at the END time, we can see that Reuben, or France, is going to betray America and Britain AGAIN in this end time. They re going to betray Joseph s two sons, Ephraim and Manasseh. President Macron has made some pretty shocking statements to the world in the last few weeks, and he just last week made another stunning statement before the world when he was in Berlin addressing the Germans, and he made the statement in his speech, If you do not understand the words from France, REMEMBER that France LOVES Germany. France loves Germany! Now, what kind of a statement IS that? He never has said anything like that to his two brothers, and France and Joseph are sons of Israel, and there are other ones, but there s a lot of focus on especially Joseph in this end time. So here, he s saying that France LOVES Germany, and Germany was taken out of captivity to Germany in World War I and World War II by Britain and America, and he s just turning his back on them, AS he was prophesied to do in this end time. 1

2 So let me read you something here, a quote that I gave you last week. This quote says, The United States helped France MIGHTILY in that war. American troops gave their lives to protect and support the French army and people. In both World Wars I and II, British and American forces delivered France from captivity. All totaled, almost two million, TWO MILLION, British and American soldiers gave their lives to defend France and other European nations. TWO MILLION British and American soldiers! So they invested a lot of their manhood, young men, and certainly in delivering Europe, but more specifically, France. Now, last week I gave you a quote where Macron said that they wanted a TRUE European army, a TRUE European army, and he said, That is a dramatic statement, we wrote, in its own right. But he added, We have to protect ourselves with respect to China, Russia, and even the United States. How about that? Now he LOVES Germany! And he says, France LOVES Germany! and he is speaking for them I think in many respects. But I think that s a most PATHETIC statement and I think it s almost like saying, Well, they just don t have the WILL to ever stand up against Germany again. So they re just going to join in with them and France will betray his brother, Joseph, which is Britain and America. So what does God want us to understand in all of this prophecy? See, I want to focus more today and I did not get into this too much last week but I wanted to focus on this true European army. What is he talking about? Is it something they re just THINKING about, or is it something almost well, we could say, ALREADY looking like a superpower? There s a lot going on in Europe with their military, but most people know very little, if anything, about. Germany has quite a history, as you know, because they started World War I and World War II. But here is Macron saying now, that really, indirectly and he s implying, that Europe doesn t need NATO anymore, So we don t need NATO. We need a TRUE European army. It s not enough that they ve been protected by America and Britain in many ways. Now, they have their own power going today, but they had a lot of power in World War 2

3 II, but it still took the Nazis and the Germans only about six weeks to conquer them. So they NEED certainly help many times, but they just decided to, well, just join in with Germany. That s going to be the greatest SHAME they ve ever, ever experienced when they betray their own brothers. And God has a lot to SAY about that, and they should be just grossly ASHAMED of what they have done. But anyhow, it s a critical warning to all of us. He IS talking about a real army that is being built in Europe. Now, Britain is already getting out of Europe, and they wanted to get out because it was a combine there that was absolutely DOMINEERED by Germany, and they had had enough of those two world wars, so they re stepping out. That s the main reason the people wanted out, because they didn t have the FREEDOM they should have. They had to submit to what Germany wanted, mostly, and so they got out. And so this statement by Macron is also a betrayal of Britain, which is one of the sons of Joseph. Now, I pointed out last week about Genesis 37 where it documents that Reuben betrayed his brother. I want to read you just a couple of scriptures that I used, to remind you of this history. But notice it says in Genesis 48, verses 15 and 16. Verse 15, And he [Jacob, renamed Israel] blessed Joseph, and said, God, before whom my fathers Abraham and Isaac did walk (16) bless the lads; and let my name [Israel] be named on them and let them grow into a multitude in the midst of the earth. And you can see they did that in Genesis 35, and verses 11. One became the greatest nation ever, another became the greatest commonwealth ever, commonwealth of nations. The birthright promises were received by those two brothers Britain and America. And then in verse 1 of Genesis 49, I read this to you last week, it s really an ASTOUNDING chapter here in the first book of the Bible. Verse 1 says, And Jacob called unto his sons, and said, Gather yourselves together, that I may tell you that which shall befall you in the last days. The days we re living in right now. You can EASILY prove that; it doesn t take much effort at all. But then in verse 4 it says that Reuben is, Unstable as water, thou shalt not excel; because thou wentest up to thy father's bed; then defiledst thou it: he went up to my couch. And so France still has this libertine approach to sex, even today you can see that. But God says 3

4 He wouldn t give him the birthright. He was the firstborn and should have received the birthright and ALL those blessings that were given to Britain and America. And yet, God took it away because of his sin, and God DOES do things like that. But here s what the French President said, that is also interesting. He said, We will not protect Europeans unless we decide to have a true European army. The Times called it the strongest language yet for a military union. Europe is striving for a united military. See, they don t WANT NATO anymore; they don t NEED NATO, if you want to know the truth, because they have a military ALREADY that could defend themselves probably much better than even America could, with all of the political ramifications of a relationship like that. Here is a quote, The idea of a European army is now on everyone s lips, wrote the EU Observer, November 14, That s very recent. But he says, The idea of a European army is on the lips of EVERYBODY! What is happening in Europe? What does that mean for you? Because it s going to touch the lives of every person in America and Britain, let me tell you. Bible prophecy makes that very clear. You can read yourself about the scriptures in Daniel, chapter 2 and chapter 7; Revelation 13 and Revelation 17. Mr. Armstrong used to talk about those scriptures time and time again, and we explain those in the booklet, Daniel Unlocks the book of Revelation, and of course, all of our literature is free. But anyhow, here is what Mr. Armstrong said, Herbert Armstrong said this, May 1953 that s 65 years ago! May Ten powerful European nations will combine their forces! Just like they re doing right now, combining. There are 27 nations now, but there s going to be a lot more of them that exit, until they pare it down to ten nations, or ten kings, that is going to absolutely DOMINATE Europe and challenge the whole world militarily. Remember, Germany STARTED both world wars. You need to realize that when they get power, they are prone to go to war! They ve done it THROUGHOUT THEIR HISTORY! And yet, people know almost NOTHING about their history. Our universities, in many cases, don t even teach history anymore, to our own chagrin before this is all over. 4

5 Let me just read one more quote here. October 2018, the Trumpet cover article. I ll just read you what it read there. The Holy Roman Empire Goes Public Big Time! Now, that s an article I wrote, and we ll send you a reprint to explain that to you. It certainly is an article that this world needs to understand! I m telling you, these are not ordinary times! People sometimes think they are, but look at what s happening in Europe and Russia and China and in America and Britain! TERRIBLE things are happening! These are not ordinary times, and our number one problem is that of human SURVIVAL because of all these nuclear powers, and ALL the hostility and the hatred in this world. But here French Finance Minister Bruno Lamaire took things even further. He said, The European Union must become a form of EMPIRE, like China and the U.S. I use the term empire to sharpen awareness that we are going into a world where power MATTERS. Europe should no longer shrink from deploying its power, he said. And they have a lot of power that this world is almost unaware of. It s amazing! So if you look back in the history of Adolf Hitler and Napoleon and Charlemagne and all of those rulers of the sixth Holy Roman Empires we ve already seen, I mean they were all BLOODY, BLOODY times in Europe because of the TYRANNY of the Holy Roman Empire. You ought to know the history about that because it s going to repeat itself one last time, and then Jesus Christ is going to FIGHT that very army that I m talking to you about today! And He s going to destroy it forever! Certainly that European army, it s going to be destroyed. Now, you d think, well, here after all we ve done by France, you d think, well, they d have a lot of gratitude for that, but do you ever hear a WORD of gratitude about what we did for them in World War II? Well, I haven t seen much of that at all, if anything. I can t recall anything. But beware of leaders who don t have any GRATITUDE when you ve done UNPARALLED deeds that helped SAVE them. Beware of those leaders! We also brought Germany back from a pile of rubble after World War II, and spent billions of dollars through the Marshall Plan to build up that nation again. And do you hear anybody expressing gratitude for that? I don t. 5

6 God says your lovers are going to turn on you. You d better realize that; that s what your Bible says. And God says there is a way we can deal with it, but it s only through HIM that we ll be able to, through repentance. I think President Macron is just GROVELING before Germany and saying, Well, we ll be your servant. We ll do whatever we have to do, just to be a part of your great power. They just don t seem to have the WILL to FIGHT like Winston Churchill did in World War II. I have a quote from him a little later that I ll read to you, which I think is quite powerful, if I have time to get to that. I mean you re talking about terrible times that are coming upon this world, and can you really trust nations? Can you trust individuals? God says, Cursed be the man that trusts in man (Jeremiah 17 and verse 5). The lesson in that IS that we ought to be trusting God, and we re not doing that, and that s our only hope, the whole WORLD S only hope! But certainly America s and Britain s, as well, and you can put a lot of emphasis on THAT because Bible prophecy does. It really does! Here a little information about that army I m talking about. Did you know the European Union joint military budget is already three times higher than Russia s budget? And approximately half of the United States. This is their military budget! And Macron said he didn t want to see Europe looking to America, because he said, We want to become a sovereign POWER. He wants to become an EMPIRE, like Charlemagne had, and Adolf Hitler had. That s what they want. Now, they re talking about a new tank that they have. Did you know that they have a new tank, which is already predicted to become the world s most powerful tank? And even the United States may buy tanks from Germany? Did you know that? Buy the best tank in the world. GERMANY has the best tank in the world? Well, I thought we weren t going to let them REARM after World War II because they d started so many wars in their history! That includes World War I, World War II, 1870, and anciently they were a terror to the world militarily. Germany s ancient name was Assyria. And God says He s 6

7 going to use them in this end time to achieve HIS purpose, and we need to know what that is. Well, let me give you another quote here. Did you know also that the German-French helicopter is the most powerful attack helicopter in the world? Did you know that? Well, you see, their thinking is their OWN power. They don t want any PART of NATO anymore. That s why they won t even pay their share of what they should be paying, and we ve let them get away with it. We ve let them get away with so many things. And notice this shocking quote. We say to our defense ministers, our political leaders, we are ready, this is a person from Airbus Armaments, by the name of Troppier, I guess it is, but he says, We say to our defense ministers, our political leaders, we are ready. If the cooperation succeeds, the future jet, this is a jet fighter, is predicted to out-perform the U.S. s F-35 fighter jet. What do you think about that? What POWER they already have! They have this powerful military and this powerful empire economically. And all they need now is a STRONGMAN to come on the scene and replace Angela Merkel, as we show in our Trumpet. The beginning of the end, and she s about to go, and probably that strongman is going to come on the scene and he has this empire there and their new Charlemagne is coming on the scene and it s going to change the course of this world. We have been prophesying that for over 70 years! Now, that very ARMY that they re forming, as I said, is going to FIGHT Jesus Christ at His return. The very same army I m talking to you about right now! That s how close it is to the Coming of Jesus Christ. He s going to FIGHT those ten kings and destroy them. You can read it in Daniel 2, Daniel 7. He s going to destroy them TOTALLY! They ll never rise again. And this world will be filled with prosperity and joy and happiness for all time, forever! How many people believe that? And yet, your Bible has a MULTITUDE of prophecies telling you that, but yet many people say, well, they don t believe it. You can read Revelation 9, verses 7 through 9 where it talks about the locusts and all of those, really, helicopters, and that type of fighter, it would seem, and many others. But it s talking about airplanes and jet fighters and helicopters that just can go all directions and really be 7

8 very destructive. It s talking about some of these military instruments we re talking about right now. Christ is going to destroy them. He s going to HAVE to or there would be no flesh saved alive (Matthew 24, verses 21 and 22). Christ prophesied that when He was on this Earth! And yet people just IGNORE it, it seems. Religion ignores it; Christianity ignores it in most cases that I see. Or perhaps I should say, don t see. Well, we wrote this in our Trumpet.com I believe, Macron s bold stance for an independent European army has left him with no choice but to enter a deal with the devil, German industry. And once he gets locked into that, well, he s going to be in lockstep with the Germans if he s going to be a part of the Holy Roman Empire, and that s exactly what he s going to do. Daniel 2 and verse 44, And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: He says that after He has DESTROYED the Holy Roman Empire. Now, that s right there in your Bible. And I ll tell you, in the latest Trumpet you really NEED our magazine but the lead article is Germany, A New King is Imminent! We think we know who that king s going to be, and he s going to rise on the scene, and he s going to bring POWER AND MIGHT to ALL those military instruments, and it s going to shock and stun this world! I m telling you, it s IMMINENT! And that article, we ll send it to you. But we hope you ll just get the magazine ITSELF and it ll tell you about, really, what I talked about last week. It s all fulfilled prophecy about our being betrayed by France. It s right there in your Bible. But this is not, well, it s not BAD news. Certainly there is going to be quite a lot of suffering until we learn a lesson. But Jesus Christ is going to come back and put down the Russian power, the Chinese power, the European power, and ALL those powers of this world. He s going to destroy them FOREVER and bring this poor Earth peace and joy and happiness and godly understanding.
