Now I shall attack! these were the famous words of Coloner Fowler in one of the wars in the history. These were the desperate uttering from that great warrior. These words are reminded in the current situation, when everything that was termed as good and divine seems to be crumbling around all of us. The good moral values, the social values, the norms of behaviour everything. The total lies are being passed as the total truth. The wars are immense, the deaths are enormous, the violence beyond imagination, the natural calamities abound This also makes me remind of the words of swargiya Vasantraoji Paranjape, a saint of modern times who came to my life a few years ago, when he had said that a time will come soon when one can not look out of your own windows. There will be death all around. The stench of death will fill the environment. I am seeing the dance of death close to our Reiki families. In the past 10 days, the death has struck on mothers of three of our sadhaks.. Mr Amit & Kavita Shah, Mr Nandadeep Patil (both from Borivali Mumbai) and Mr Amit Sane, our trustee in Devrukh. All of them have lost their beloved mothers in a gap of just 10 days. The Reiki parivar has lost some excellent patrons to their activities and mission. Condolences from all of us to the bereaved sadhaks and their families. We are all sending them Reiki for the peace and completion of the departed souls. Amit & Kavita Shah s mother Anjana was a noble soul and had learnt Reiki herself and had a strong faith in Reiki. She fought valiantly with her cancer before giving up. Salute to her struggle. Nandadeep Patil s mother had a noble death where she just passed away without anyone even noticing that she is gone, while talking to her son on phone. What a noble death. Nandadeep is a staunch Swami devotee and does a great service to Swami. It has all reflected in his mother s death. Amit Sane s mother Shubhada was herself was a staunch reiki channel and a Swami devotee. In the last few years of her life she had a difficulty in coming to ashram on her own but still managed on every Thursday without missing on even one. She was a great fan of my Digambara, Digambara and once told me that when she hears that at her home, she drops every other work and just plunges in the ocean of devotion and get submerged. She had tears rolling down her eyes when she said that. And thereafter every time I sung that at the end of aarti I was singing only for her. For whom do I sing that now? But I know heart in my heart that my Digambara will reach her no matter where she goes in this vast universe. My deepest feelings go to the sadhaks and their families at this moment with an assurance that they are not alone in this hour of crisis, we are all together and HE is with us.

2 PAGE 2 Reiki as a healing practice in Hospitals Dear Guru Ji, Jai Gurudev. How are you? I am about to share a very exciting NEWS with you. I remember you always said that its your dream to see western hospitals understanding Reiki, adopting Reiki and apply Reiki on their patients. You wanted to see them holding Reiki sessions at hospitals, senior citizens' nursing homes, etc. Well, guess what, your dream has come true. Click on the link I have attached here and you will see that Illinois' two major hospitals Alexian Brothers Medical Center and St. Alexius Medical Center are holding regular Reiki Sessions on every Monday for 45 mins. I don't have details regarding these sessions like if the reiki is for free and if its given by volunteers, who is giving reiki, etc. But I read these details at the gym I go to and I was extremely excited to share the same. I am very happy and proud of these two hospitals to step up and participate to address their patients to Reiki. Hope rest is well with you. 3 V O L U M E 3 I S S U E 6 P A G E 3 Experiences of Reiki Students The 2nd degree seminar at Nashik on 8th & 9th June this year proved to be a different experience as almost all the sadhaks who had done their 1st degree earlier had come totally prepared for 2nd degree with a lot of experiences. All of them had written their experiences in their own hand writing and presented to me. This was unique as it had never happened before. Here are some of them for the benefits of the readers of this newsletter: I will now tell you my first Degree experience: (1) I had a terrific problem of acidity for last many years. But since I have done Reiki 2 months ago, I haven t consumed a single tablet as I never had the problem at all. (2) I usec to get very tired, stressful and very restless after doing some work. Today even if I work for 24 hours aday, I do not feel any of these discomforts. I am always fresh. This is the live example of what Reiki sadhana can do. I have total faith in Reiki. - Shweta Mehta, (Sangamner) (1) The skin disease that I had for the past many years had reached the level of steroid treatment. After doing the first degree and practicing this problem is now totally resolved. (2) For the past many years my migraine has been a major problem for me, however, since the initiation of the first level of reiki, I have not taken a single tablet, my headache has totally gone and I am sleeping peacefully without any disturbances. (3) My blood pressure has been absolutely normal without any medication. I am very happy doing Reiki Sadhana. - Rekha Mehta, (Sangamner) 1) I had multiple problems like spinal disorders, the knee pain, the irritation and stress for quite some time. I can see a tremendous difference in that since I have been doing Reiki Sadhana. Now I am cheerful and happy all the time. 2) I could hardly attend to my work at home due to my spinal problems. Now I remain fresh inspite of doing a lot of work at home. 3) I could not sit down cross legged even for some time due to my knee pain. Now I can sit for long time without any discomfort. 4) I was practically suffering from insomnia for quite some time that resulted in irritation throughout the day. Now after Reiki, I sleep so well that the irritation has just gone away. 5) My son who is intelligent but had attitudinal problems. I have been giving him Reiki since I learnt mainly on his third eye chakra and to his writing material. Now he is stable and scored excellent marks in his recent exams. I have developed a total faith in Reiki since I have experienced this total transformation in my life. - Reena Shah (Nashik) After undergoing the first degree Reiki seminar, I have felt good changes in my health. I have been giving Reiki to my medicines which I give to my patients and have seen positive effects on my patient s health too. 4 Experiences of Reiki sadhaks (contd) I want to share one more Reiki experience here. A girl name Sanidhi, 17 years old who had been on fasting for two months. As a result she got a reaction which manifested into the osteoarthritis. She could not even walk sit and doing any physical activity was a painful exercise for her. Doctors as usual were not able to diagnose exact reasons for such ailments. She had undergone medical and microscopic check-ups but to no avail. She is in 12 th std and she wanted to give exams. I started giving her Reiki giving group reiki with my colleagues Sweety, Jyotiben, Poonam, Foram. We also prescribed her to start Agnihotra, the use of Salt water. Within a week she started walking and also gave her 12th exams She also did her Reiki seminars and is now empowered to send distant reiki after her 2nd degree initiation last week end. - Seemaben Trivedi (Reiki Master) After 1st degree of Reiki Seminar, I have felt good changes in my life. My anxieties have reduced, now I can maintain my cool and calm throughout the day. I have been seeing extremely positive effect on many of my patients, especially in psychological cases. I am sure Reiki will help me to heal my patients in a better way. - Dr. Kavit Kolambe (Nashik) The biggest experience of Reiki for me is that: Now I am free from all worries and am confident that with the help of Reiki I can counter any situation in my life. The first opportunity to use Reiki came to me immediately after my learning the 1st degree and that also on my most loving mother. My mother was serious and I got my sister s call informing me about that. I rushed to my native place, Akot (Vidarbha) and thought that I should give touch Reiki to my mother. Thereafter, I gave her full body Reiki everyday as long as I was there. I feel so excited to tell you even now that my mother who could hardly open her eyes and could not sit in her bed, started moving all around the house. Her weakness had vanished. Unfortunately she passed away after about a month, but I am so happy that could offer some service to her and made her happy to know that her daughter can create some kind of miracle. I can never forget the love and appreciation in her eyes whenever she used to take Reiki from me. That was amazing and something to cherish in my life. I thank Reiki for providing me that empowerment which could help my mother in her last days of her life. In the temple of this body, On the seat of my heart, I worship my mother Reiki. - Mrs. Chhaya Ghamandi I learnt my Reiki on 27th and 28th March, that was during the onset of the summer. About days thereafter, the atmosphere started getting hotter. My husband said we will buy the cooler now. We even went together to the showroom to have look at the cooler models. The very next day my son reminded that we have to pay the fees for his classes and college which amounted to Rs myself and my husband realized that we need to change our priorities as the education of the child is more important than buying a cooler. I casually said that this time, the rains would be earlier atleast by 15 days and the temperature will come down. We dropped the subject there itself and I kept on taking reiki to make myself comfortable. To my great surprise, I found the rains arriving precisely on 1st June, exactly 15 days before the scheduled date. I realized how Reiki can help in day-to-day life. - Rajashree Bhavsar.

5 V O L U M E 3 I S S U E 6 The Amazing experience in healing a pet Dog Siddhi Joglekar & Riddhi Patel P A G E 5 A Reiki Healing - In Reiki 1 st and 2 nd degree seminars, we had been tought to have gratitude towards animals. Since learning 2 nd degree in 2005, the divine experience of Reiki Healing on animals is being experienced few days back. A Dog name Bholu was suffering from a severe attack of Parvo virus, which is highly contagious. Generally it has been said that if a dog becomes infected with parvo virus then within 24 hrs of detection, the diseases may leads to death of a dog. Symptoms:- Dogs that develop the disease show symptoms of the illness within 5 to 10 days. The symptoms include lethargy, vomiting, fever, and diarrhea (usually bloody). Diarrhea and vomiting result in dehydration and secondary infections can set in. Due to dehydration, the dog's electrolyte balance can become critically affected. Because the normal intestinal lining is also compromised, blood and protein leak into the intestines leading to anemia and loss of protein, and endotoxins escaping into the bloodstream, causing endotoxemia. Dogs have a distinctive odor in the later stages of the infection. The white blood cell level falls, further weakening the dog. Any or all of these factors can lead to shock and death.[20] The first sign of CPV is lethargy. Usually the second symptoms would be loss of appetite or diarrhea followed by vomiting. This dog is being treated in the office premises only by the Owner of that Dog (MD-GGRC), who has taken utmost care rather than admitting the dog to some veterinary hospital. He himself used to give all kind of medication & injections under the guidance of doctor. Some of our reiki sadhaks including me and Riddhi (Bhavna Chauhan, Nimisha Thoriya, Pragna Sayania & Pradip Bhatt) working in my office (GGRC, Vadodara) use to give him touch reiki twice a day. Now Bholu, dog is totally on recovery phase after 20 days of its fight against The Parvo. Still he is under weakness and little bit lethargy. But it can also be healed by time. Thanks Guruji for teaching such a wonderful technique. Thanks for giving us a platform to experience the magic of Reiki.

Around three years back, in an informal sadhaks meeting Guruji had asked sadhaks to experiment AGNI- HOTRA along with use of Reiki s three symbols. This according to him would have given a better result for distant healing I picked that, and started experimenting AGNIHOTRA with different ways for one year complete, and have found astonishing and instant results Then I have started sharing with other sadhaks. They also had fast healing results. I take the opportunity to expatiate that while preparing for AGNIHOTRA in usual manner, pieces of Cowdung, Cow's ghee and Rice as usual, here make a little change, draw our three symbols on Rice with an your SANKALP before giving 'aahuti' and give ' aahuti with that intention.. Give 'aahuti ' in this manner for 21 days. I have being trying different ' aahuti's for different people in one AGNIHOTRA. 7 Guruji s forthcoming visit to USA You may be pleased to learn that Guruji Ajit Telang has been invited as a Guest Speaker in a convention organized by Brihan Maharashtra Mandal (BMM) the apex body of 52 Maharashtra Mandals in USA. BMM has convention every 2 years in different locations in USA. This year, a convention will be held in Chicago between 22nd and 24th July More than 4000 participants are expected to participate in this event. Guruji will be speaking on various dimensions of Reiki and how the power of Reiki can manifest in various facets of life. Guruji will thereafter be in Chicago for the next 8 days and conduct 3 Reiki seminars. Besides there will be a One day Intensive for our sadhaks in Chicago on 1st August. Only Mother Earth and the Ancient Maya know what s going to happen From Serpent of light One of my colleagues in Reiki teaching team made some strong statement about working ladies stating that ladies should never work outside and look into the domestic matters more as they are driven more by the Swadhisthan chakra than Mooladhar chakra. That did hurt a lot of ladies in the group, as they were working ladies and they thought that it was an attack on that. It is a fact that the chakra structure of women and men are different and demand a different understanding. The chakras actually create a trait, the basic Swabhav or the nature of a human being. If one acts as per the trait one does not experience the stress. Swadharmat Mryuate Mrutyu, that is what Lord Krishna tells Arjun in Geeta. Be with your natural trait. Be stressless. During my 15 years of teaching Reiki, I have realized that a truth may have to be dispensed in a particular way. One has to understand that by touching ego, one can never teach. One has to bypass the ego. You can not ram into that. You can not activate their ego. You should understand exactly what ego is and where it is. The ladies as mentioned earlier are more driven by Swadhisthan chakra while the gents are driven by Mooladhar. The most interesting fact is that the ego in females is always associated with issues related to Swadhisthan. while the location of ego in case of males is connected to Mooladhar related matters. So one has to be careful while talking to females about their personality traits while one can take liberties with their activities when you talk to them. On the other side one needs to be careful while talking about the issues of activities to males so that they may not tread on their shoes. One can however be easy while you talk about their personality traits. He will just laugh it off. Ladies wont. Ladies ego is about what she is while males ego is about what he does. One has to understand the basic traits that emanate from their chakra structure. Then one can teach the truth.
