Have mercy on me, O Lord, for I cry to you all day long. O Lord, you are good and forgiving, full of mercy to all who call to you. THE LAST 7:00PM MASS WAS CELBRATED LAST WEEKEND. THE FALL MASS SCHEDULE BEGINS NEXT WEEKEND, SEPTEMBER 8TH & 9TH. Saturday @ 4:00pm Sunday @ 8:00 & 10:30am The parish office will be closed on Monday September, 3rd, in observance of Labor Day A note from the Choir Director Choir will be starting soon and new members are needed this year more than ever. This year, more than ever we need to replace members that have moved away or retired for health reasons. Music ministry provides beauty, joy, comfort, inspiration and musical prayer for our communal liturgies and various parish celebrations. This is possible due to the generous sharing of time and talent of diverse and committed members. If you can carry a tune and want to learn, come sing with us. This past May I spoke to the congregation about our need and three people came forward to join this September. To those who did, please see me after Mass to sign up and get your folders. We have over 1200 families in our parish and we have the potential for a much larger choir, one that reflects our commitment to continuing this important ministry. We rehearse on Wednesday 7-9pm and sing Sunday at 10:30 Mass and occasional Saturday Masses as well. 8-19-18 Budget Weekly Offering $ 5690 Online 3188 Loose Envelopes POSITIONS AVAILABLE 1. The true intent is that the godparent or sponsor be an active, practicing Catholic, who treasures the Catholic faith, provides good example and would joyfully and eagerly be a partner with the parents in raising the child in the faith. The godparent s faith need not be perfect or mature, but it must be valid and active. He/she is fully initiated, attends Mass regularly, and if married, is validly married in the church.
