Deck the Halls Deck the Halls Celebration Sunday, November 27 from 4:30pm to 6:00pm Join us as we kick off the Advent season with a festive family celebration including an advent wreath workshop, cookie decorating, hot chocolate, and a Hanging of the Greens service filled with holiday music and interactive fun. Best Ever Parent Training EVER Wednesday, November 30 from 6:30pm to 8pm This parenting event, featuring one of the leading voices in youth ministry, will provide practical insights into how teenagers are wired and how we as parents can help guide them. Our special guest speaker, Mark Oestreicher is the author of many books including: "A Parent's Guide to Understanding Teenage Brains" and "Understanding Your Young Teen: Practical Wisdom for Parents." Women's Ministry Christmas Dinner Friday, December 2 at 6:00 p.m. in the Worship Center Join us for our annual Women's Christmas Dinner. Simply RSVP by Nov. 27, and be our guest for this year's program entitled "Christmas from the Heart." The Worship Center doors will open at 6pm. Upon arrival, we will check in your party, then you will enjoy a few hors d'oeuvres while we prepare your table for an evening filled with joy, laughter and a heartfelt holiday celebration. Kids CrosSing Choirs Christmas Musical Kids CrosSing Choirs Christmas Musical Sunday, December 4 at 6pm in the New Worship Center Make plans now to come and see the Kids CrosSing Choirs in "Told For the Very First Time." We are excited that this year's Christmas musical will be held in our New Worship Center. The drama, written by our own Donna Locke, plays off the idea that though the story of Jesus' birth is thousands of years old, that in our brand new Worship Center, these children are telling the old, old story within the walls of our new Worship Center for the very first time. Both CrossWalk (3 year olds through 1st grade) and CrossWay (2nd through 6th grade) will be singing and/or performing in the musical. Then immediately following the program, join us in the Rooftop for "The Plum Pudding Party," a festive time of fellowship for all that will certainly kick off your holiday season with joy! 5. Men's Meeting

United Methodist Men's Meeting Monday, November 21 at 7:00pm in "The Rooftop" All men are invited to come hang out with a great group of guys this Monday. We will enjoy a relevant message and FREE food. We hope to see you there! 6. Planning Class Planning for your Legacy Wednesday, November 30 at 6:30pm Join us for a presentation and conversation about the legacy you want to leave and how the church can be a part of it. We'll focus on wills, estate planning, end of year, and end of life giving. 7. Christmas at HMUMC Mark Your Calendars! Christmas Cantata Sunday, December 18 at 9:15am & 11:00am Come enjoy the wondrous story of the Savior's birth as told through Christmas Choruses from Handel's "Messiah." This live worship experience

presented by our Cantata Choir, Orchestra and our Pastors, brings to life the greatest story ever told. For those who prefer our early service, a festive Christmas Word & Table service will be held in the Rooftop at 8:00am. Christmas Eve Saturday, December 24 We are looking forward to spending Christmas Eve with you and ALL of your friends in our new Worship Center! Available at Wednesday Night Supper TONIGHT. Due December 4. The Christmas Angel Tree program provides gifts for children and economically disadvantaged senior adults who would otherwise not have gifts to open during the holidays. Simply pick up a bag at Wednesday Night Supper TONIGHT. A tag with the instructions for the angel will be in each bag. Please return the tag and unwrapped gifts to the front office by December 4th.
