If you would like to donate to the cause, money gifts (of any amount) may be placed in a Feed My Sheep envelope marked CHRISTMAS and dropped into the offering plate. If you wish to purchase a gift card on your own, gift cards may be given to any Pantry team member. We hope to include a small plate of cookies with the gift cards if any bakers would like to contribute before Dec. 14. As always, thank you for your support as we Feed His Sheep. Pantry is open the second Friday of each month 5:30 pm-7:30 pm Theme for Pantry donations in November: Thanksgiving meal items WELCA Meeting Tuesday, November 6 1:00 pm at Forks Church The speaker is Peggy Bianchi, a specialist in women s health. 2

Flowers, Bulletins and Altar Candles Sponsorships: Place check (payable to Forks Church) or cash in an envelope marked FLOWERS, BULLETINS or ALTAR CANDLES and put in the pocket on the church secretary s door or drop in the offering plate. Flowers are $32/week Bulletins are $15/week Altar Candles are $20/month Remember to note your name, envelope # and what week/month of the sponsorship, so proper credit is issued. The new chart for 2019 is on the long table in the narthex. There are some available dates for flower and bulletin sponsorships. Please look over and mark any changes. EVERGREEN HOMES WELCA Ladies plan to fill 50+ gift bags for the residents of Evergreen Homes this Christmas season. The Ladies are requesting monetary donations by November 25 th so they can do the shopping!! It doesn t get any easier than that! There is a bowl of envelopes on the table in the narthex. Please take an envelope (or two) for your donation. The envelopes can then be placed into the gift wrapped box next to the bowl. The Leechburg Ministerial is once again sponsoring a Community Thanksgiving Service. It will take place on Sunday, November 18 th, 2:30 pm at Cross Roads Church in Leechburg. An offering will be collected for P.A.T.H. Also, a Thanksgiving Meal will be offered on November 22, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Cross Roads Community Presbyterian Church 271 Main Street, Leechburg. A delicious meal, good conversation, and it is FREE! (Take-outs available starting at 12:30 pm) Please make a reservation by November 16! Forks Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church WELCA Funeral Dinner Policy September 4, 2018 Due to a lack of help, WELCA will no longer prepare funeral dinners for families of the deceased. However, WELCA will set up, serve and clean up for dinners that are catered by an outside service. WELCA will prepare coffee, tea, cold drinks, and provide paper products. Families are responsible for the cost of the catered dinner. WELCA would appreciate a donation to help defray their cost for the drinks and paper products. A representative from WELCA will contact a family member to discuss details of the dinner, if applicable and explain which catering services are preferred by WELCA and catering menu options.
