Households living on the edge financially dread this straw that breaks the camel s back. --loss of job, reduced hours --downsizing at work, income loss --eviction and moving to a new address --major illness, hospitalization --a sick child and mom/dad call off work --a contributing adult leaves the household --separation, child custody, incarceration --car breakdowns/no transportation --homelessness becomes a reality and the bills stack up, water is shut off, the lights go out and eviction looms. Continue FISH-ing with us anytime. Come on board and offer assistance to those in need with a donation to the FISH pond. Myrna Yoder, Director of FISH Inc. of Troy ROCK MENU Ham slices Scalloped potatoes Green beans California blend vegetables Dinner rolls Tossed salad and salad bar Dessert table and ice cream There will be no stewardship report this week, there will be two next week. Reminder: All Saints Sunday is next Sunday, Nov. 4 th, if I don t have pictures of your loved ones you still can email at sbrumfield@troyfumc.org
Come Flood This Heart of Mine Lyrics by Herb Frombach Music by DAVID LANTZ III Come flood this heart of mine With Your great love divine. Come, Spirit, make Your home, My heart is Yours alone. Come flood this heart of mine With Your great love divine. Come flood this heart of mine With Your pure joy divine. My every sin forgive As one with You I live, Come fill my heart, I am longing for your power. Your presence and peace will be mine this very hour. Come fill my heart with Your Spirit in this place. Let my heart overflow with the fullness of Your grace. Make of this heart of mine a vessel wholly Thine. Drive dark and doubt away, O fill me Lord I pray. Come flood this heart of mine With Your great love divine.

Trunk or Treat Please join us for one of the biggest community events the church sponsors every year, Trunk or Treat, on October 28th from 5:30-7:00 in the church parking lots. Trunk and Treat is a fun event for all ages. Hot dogs, chips, and drinks will be served and all kids participating in the event will go home with some candy. To make it a great event we want to have as many cars as possible. Decorating your car is encouraged but not required, and we will have a best decorated car competition. Please plan to have your car in place by 5:30. Bringing your own candy on the 28th is appreciated, but we will also be distributing donated candy for you to pass out as well. Candy donations prior to the event can be dropped off at the church office or feel free to bring them to church on Sunday. We are also requesting donations of new socks for the event. Hope to see you on the 28th for a fun evening of outreach! SAVE THE DATE! Please join us on Wednesday, Nov. 14 th, from 5-7:30pm for the Annual First Kids Christian Preschool Spaghetti Supper/Silent Auction Fundraiser. The spaghetti supper gives the preschool an opportunity to raise funds for new/updated classroom equipment and technology AND gives the entire church family a chance to share a meal and enjoy some fellowship together. This year s supper will also feature the ever popular basket silent auction. In years past, over 60 items and baskets have been available for bid. This year should be no different. The spaghetti supper is free (freewill donations accepted) and open to everyone in our church and preschool families! Basket Donations are Needed: If you would like to donate a gift basket to the silent auction, the preschool welcomes your support. Please contact Bridget Haines at 937-335-2826 for details. Donations in the past have included Movie Night, Family Game Night, Relaxation and Coffee Lovers Paradise baskets. Thank you for your support!
