We believe that the scriptures consisting of the Old and New Testament are fully inspired of God, that they are inerrant in the original writing and that they are the supreme authority of faith and practice. (1 Tim. 3:16,17; 2 Pet. 1:20,21). 2. We believe in the One, Holy, Almighty God eternally existent in the three co-equal persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Matt. 28:19,20; Mark 1:9,10) 3. We believe in the deity and personality of the Holy Spirit. (Acts 5:3,4; John16:13,14) 4. We believe that Jesus Christ, as the scriptures affirm, is the eternal Son of God and Son of Man, and was born of a virgin and is Himself God. He is the one person having two distinct natures and shed His blood in substitutionary sacrifice when He died for our sins according to the scriptures. (1 Jn. 1:1,14; Isa. 7:14; 1 Pet. 2:24; 1 Cor. 15:3; 1 Tim. 2:15) 5. We believe in the bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ. (1Cor. 15:4 ; Matt. 28:5,6; 8:5,6) 6. We believe in the personal, visible and pre-millennial return of our Lord Jesus Christ. (1 Jn. 14:3; Acts 1:11) 7. We believe that salvation is only by grace, a free gift of God, through faith in the shed blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. (Eph. 2:8,9; 1 Jn. 1:7) 8. We believe that the whole human race fell into sin in Adam, the head and progenitor of mankind, and that because of sin all men are are totally depraved, at enmity with God and eternally lost. (Rom. 5:12-19; 8:10-23) 9. We believe in the final bodily resurrection of all the dead - those that are saved unto eternal life, and those that are lost unto eternal damnation in the lake of fire. (Dan. 12:2,3; Jn. 5:25,29 ; Rev. 20:5,6) 10. We believe in the reality and personality of Satan, the enemy of God and destroyer of men. (Job 1:2; Isa. 14:12; 1 Pet. 5:8)
Page 6 of 6 11. We believe that those who have never heard the Gospel are lost and that it is our solemn responsibility to preach the gospel to every creature. (Rom. 1:18-23 ; 2 Thess. 1:8,9) 12. We believe that all Christians should walk worthy of Christ in an overcoming victorious life provided for them on the basis of faith in His redemptive work. We believe that Christians should grow daily in grace and in the Holy Spirit who indwells every believer. (Eph.5:18; 4:17-22; Rom. 8:1-4; 1 Pet. 3:18; Col. 3:17) 13. We believe in the church universal, consisting only of those who are born again, the Body and Bride of Christ, evidenced today in local congregations, for which He now makes intercession in heaven, and for which He will come again. (1 Cor. 12:13; Eph. 2:19-22; 5:27)
