JUNE BULLETIN Tuesday, June 21, 2016 Title: Saving Teeth with Little or No Clinical Crowns Speaker: Edward Feinberg, D.M.D Course Intro: Teeth that have periodontal bone loss or decay down to the gingiva are quick to be condemned as unsalvageable and extracted. Many of these teeth are easily salvageable with techniques that come from the roots of Dentistry. Too often these teeth are extracted in favor of implant placement. However, patients may be better off when their own teeth can be salvaged. The ability to save teeth allows the practitioner to provide more options for patients. This course will demonstrate how teeth with little or no clinical crowns can be saved without posts or buildups. Clinical examples from a library of more than 100,000 slides and digital pictures taken since 1950. Emphasis will be placed on how to achieve retention on teeth with little or no clinical crowns.
