3-4 & 3-5-17 FAMILY FUN DAY Thank you to the Deacons for putting on a great event! It was a fun afternoon and evening of games, fellowship, and food! Everyone had a great time!! COUNCIL Church council meetings have been moved to the first Sunday of the month, following worship. We will be meeting today in the fellowship hall. DEACONS We meet this Thursday at 7:00 p.m. TLC SCHOLARSHIP BRUNCH The next scholarship brunch will be on March 26 th following worship. A free will offering will be taken for the TLC scholarship fund. NOISY OFFERING We collected $124.73 for Lutheran Disaster in February. Our noisy offering will be going to National Coalition Against Domestic Violence. CHRISTIAN MOTORCYCLE ASSOCIATION Thank you to all the students and parents who helped with childcare and the luncheon fundraiser on Friday and Saturday at River Hills Church. LENT Our Lenten theme this year is Prayers of the Passion. All midweek services will be at 7:15 p.m. Instead of a sermon each week, we will be hearing a dialogue between the pastor, a woman, and a different biblical
figure as they sort out what Jesus death and resurrection mean for the world. This coming Wednesday s theme is Why Have You Forsaken M? Treats will be served following the service. Please see the sign-up sheet for weeks that we still needs lectors, hosts, and people to serve treats. Thanks!
