Follow on Facebook Follow on Twitter Forward to a Friend From the Pastor Near the end of his letter to the Philippians, Paul writes: Calendar And my God will meet all your needs according to his Wednesday Schedules: 7:00-8:00 Prayer/Bible Study Thursday Schedule: glorious riches in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4: 19, NIV) He has just finished thanking them for their support, and told them that because of their generosity, that He is

7:30-8:30 Praise Team Sunday Schedule: 9:00 am Worship Team Practice 9:30 am Sunday School 10:30 am Worship amply supplied. He wanted them to know that he was grateful for their prayers and financial support while he was in chains waiting for his trial. And Paul assures them that God will meet their needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus. The Philippian church was not wealthy, but they had eagerly sent a volunteer offering to Paul to help him out. Perhaps they worried a little, since money was tight. Perhaps they could have come up with others reasons to keep them from giving. Greeters Nancy Petry & Linda McNeal Media Kim Davis Sound Harold McAllister Ushers Tim Contrada Logan Lockridge Maybe we should spend this money on things we need around here, because the future doesn t look good? It has been a while since we have seen Paul. Maybe we should no longer support his work, since he has not been around Paul is in prison, what good would our offering do now? Ron Fahrney Cliff Hoover Nursery- Sunday School Carol McAllister And perhaps many other things could have stopped them from giving. But they gave. And they gave generously. If they were worried about themselves, they probably would not have given so well. It took faith in God, and being sure

Nursery- Worship Linda McNeal Children's Church Ellen/Kylee that God would take care of them. So they were free to give. They knew that they were in good hands the Lord s hands. I hope that you also know that you are in the Lord s hands, and that He will supply your needs according to His riches. You will never be able to out give God! Please either email pfahrney@gmail.com or text to Pat Fahrney at 540-292- 2321 with your name and number attending by June 20. Vacation Bible School is Coming! June 22-24 Fri, Sat @ 6-8:30pm Sun VBS Special Program during Worship with Lunch following the service. Get ready kids and adults for a Campout VBS Weekend on June 22-24. The fun event will be held from 6-8:30 Friday and Sat. nights and a special program with a campers lunch after church on Sunday. There will be music, Bible stories, skits, special projects, snacks and games. Come enjoy a fun filled weekend and learn how to get S More of Jesus! If you would like to help, please see Lisa or

Joy. Pre-registration table will be set up on Sunday prior to the VBS. Campout VBS will be making felt teddy bears for area foster children. They are in need of some personal item as well, so the church and VBS children will be collecting the following items. Please help us to give these children a few things to call their own: Toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, brush, soap, washcloth or scrubbie, notepad, small Bible, coloring book, crayons, small shampoo. Anything else you think a child may like. Also most of the children have nothing to put their belongings in, so a book bag or small shoulder bag would be great too. There will be a basket by the mailboxes. ***VBS Campout is in need of silk tall house plants or short or medium size old Christmas trees we could use for the VBS stage. We just need to borrow these for the weekend of June 22-24. If you have any, please let them in the nursery area by the water fountain. Thank you Lisa, Tammy & Joy
