Be Prepared for Things to Change for the Better! 1. Expect the LORD to do great things in your life: Life may seem hard at times, but in the midst of the hard times, GOD makes HIMSELF available to come to your aid. HE takes no joy in your suffering and HIS attention is 100% set toward you at all times. HE does not miss a thing and HIS Hand is ready to come to your rescue. True love calls us to expect the best and if we truly love the LORD, our expectation is that HE will meet our needs and work all things in our favour every time (Romans 28:8) Behold the Eye of the LORD is on those who fear HIM, on those who hope in HIS steadfast love, that HE may deliver their soul from death and keep them alive... Psalms 33:18,19 The righteous man may have many troubles, but the LORD delivers him from them all. Psalms 34:19 Prayer example: LORD, I see in Psalms 33:18,19 it is written YOUR Eye is on me because I reverentially fear you. I am now placing my hope in YOUR steadfast love. Please deliver me from (add in what you are currently facing). In JESUS Name Amen Or LORD, according to YOUR WORD, the Blood of JESUS CHRIST makes me righteous. I ask you now to deliver me from my trouble as YOU promise to do in Psalm 34:19 In JESUS Name Amen
With GOD on your side, you cannot go wrong you have the GOD - advantage. What then shall we say to these things? If GOD is for us, who can be against us? Romans 8:31 GOD always keeps HIS WORD. Find Scripture relevant to your request and stand on HIS promises (see prayer examples). If you would only rely on HIM HE will show you the way out of any situation, HE will show you secret things that will enable you to prosper in the midst of the attack. For no temptation (no trial regarded as enticing to sin, no matter how it comes or where it leads) has overtaken you and laid hold on you that is not common to man [that is, no temptation or trial has come to you that is beyond human resistance and that is not adjusted and adapted and belonging to human experience, and such as man can bear]. But GOD is faithful [ to HIS WORD and to HIS compassionate nature], and HE [can be trusted] not to let you be tempted and tried and assayed beyond your ability and strength of resistance and power to endure, but with the temptation HE will [always] also provide the way out (the means to escape to a landing place), that you may be capable and strong and powerful to bear up under it patiently. 1 Corinthians 10:13 Prayer example: LORD, YOUR WORD says YOU will never allow me to be tempted beyond what I can resist. Since I am facing this test now and according to this Scripture I now resist and trust that YOU have already prepared the way out for me. If you find yourself experiencing a great time of hurt, disappointment or adversity, remind yourself the GOD is on your side. Seek good and not evil, that you may live; and so the LORD, the GOD of hosts will be with you,... Amos 5:14 If you have entrusted your life to GOD, HE will not allow you to make a mistake. HE will direct your every move and prevent you from walking into a trap. And your ears will hear a word behind you, saying, This is the way; walk in it, when you turn to the right hand and when you turn to the left Isaiah 30:21...an angel of the LORD appeared to Joseph in a dream and said, Get up! [Tenderly} take unto you the young CHILD and HIS mother and flee... Matthew 2:13 We serve a prayer-answering GOD, and we know HE will do over and above whatever we can imagine! HE gave HIS SON that we may live, HE is not about to let you go! Now to HIM WHO, by (in consequence of) the *action of HIS] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out HIS purpose and] do SUPERabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams]. 2. GOD wants to do great things in your life. GOD desires to use you to make an impact in this world. You are the salt of the earth: but if the salt has lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? It is therefore good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. Matthew 5:13 If you question your significance your focus shifts away from GOD S plan and onto yourself you become self-obsessed and fruitless. Wherefore GOD also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of GOD into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the CREATOR, WHO is blessed forever. Amen. Romans 1:24,25 GOD thinks highly of you. You are important to HIM. GOD spoke these words to HIS children when (like us) they were in bondage and in need of deliverance. For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the LORD, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome. Jeremiah 29:11 Prayer example: LORD, YOUR WORD says in Jeremiah 29:11 that YOU have specific plans of peace and hope set up for me. FATHER, I pray that my future starting right now be filled with that peace and hope. In JESUS Name Amen 3. What is your situation? Is there current bondage in your life? Bondage can be in your life due to sin in the bloodline or sin of omission or commission of your own.
And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of Jehovah shall be delivered;... Joel 2:32 Bondage may refer to financial situations, sickness, addictions, wrong thinking (thinking that does not line up with the WORD of GOD). Regardless of the kind of bondage, GOD has a plan for you to experience freedom in all areas of your life: - Body: Brain, Rest of Physical Body, Sexuality - Soul: Conscious, Subconscious, Unconscious, Will, Emotions, Intellect - Spirit: Conscience, Intuition, Worship - Relationships: With GOD, with Spouse, with other Loved-ones, with Others - Finances - Ministry - Career - Business The key to walking in true liberation (freedom) begins with your willingness to make a quality decision, reflecting in your future actions, to do whatever it takes to change your life. Create in me a clean heart, O God; And renew a right spirit within me. Psalms 51:10 You will see circumstances change for the better as you do whatever it takes to cause change. - Change is not change until you ve changed! And be not fashioned according to this world: but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of GOD. Romans 12:2 4. Change is not comfortable. Change implies leaving a comfort zone.
Greek saying: If you are ripe you rot, but if you are green you grow remain keen to with humble zeal be green and keep on growing! When change takes place, it can become an issue and can even be stressful. Are you going to be a pessimist or will you see the opportunity the change brings? E.g. when change takes place in your work environment, will you say: Things weren t like this with the previous boss. We will just have to wait and see what happens with these new rules. The old way of doing things was better. 5. Achieving the GOD-kind or success and true prosperity (in body, soul, spirit, relationships, finances, ministry, career and business) you have to be willing to change. Reach the point where you set aside your plans and follow GOD S plan.... that ye no longer should live the rest of your time in flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of GOD. 1 Peter 4:2 Examine your life and get rid of anything that is not pleasing in HIS sight (does not line up with HIS WORD). Pray like David: Search me, O GOD, and know my heart: Try me, and know my thoughts; And see if there be any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting. Psalms 139:23,24 How would you use this Scripture in prayer? 6. Change is not a bad word. In truth, change paves the way for spiritual development. Spiritual development positions you to achieve great results. It takes a mature Christian to admit his or her shortcomings, and make the necessary adjustments to get in line with GOD S will. Never fear what man may think or say, fear what GOD will think or say. It is your reputation with GOD that matters.
Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 18:4 7. GOD wants you to succeed in life. It is possible to prosper in every area of your life body, soul, spirit, relationships, finances, ministry, career and business. It is possible to have completely Shalom (nothing missing, nothing broken, nothing wrong) in every area of your life and interests. Refusing to humble yourself and change is what can and will keep you from living this GOD-reality. Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty Hand of GOD so that at the proper time HE may exalt you, 1 Peter 5:6 A person who refuses to humble him/herself and change his/her ways to line up with the WORD, does not fear or revere GOD. GOD will hear and humble them, even HE WHO abides of old Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]! because in them there has been no change [of heart], and they do not fear, revere, and worship GOD. Psalm 55:19AMP 8. Think for a moment. A seed must undergo a process of change in order to grow into the tree that it was created (called) to be. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit. John 12:24 A caterpillar cannot reach its fullest potential until it transforms into the butterfly it was created (called) to be. What were you created (called / predestined) to become and accomplish?
