Under the mantle of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we grow as a people of God following Jesus, celebrating the Eucharist, living apostolic service, continuing faith formation and Marian devotions. We strive to bring the joy of the gospel and imitate Jesus through compassion, mercy and love, especially for the poor and marginalized. We seek to be faithful stewards providing a heart and home for all.

This summer, Our Lady of the Rosary Stewardship Commi ee, along with the help of our Parishioners, have an opportunity to help homeless children and families through Father Joe s Village Therapeu c Childcare Program. This program provides services to children and families who are currently experiencing homelessness in addi on to children in the community. They offer a unique opportunity for children of various backgrounds to interact and learn from each other. Children are provided with appropriate challenges to build on all areas of development and to learn self regula on techniques in an environment where they feel safe to test and stretch those boundaries. Parents are provided with experiences that enhance and develop their rela onships with their children in an environment where it is safe to learn and where they feel supported as they prac ce these skills. Without reliable childcare, parents o en have to quit their jobs or get fired, which just adds to our homelessness situa on. HERE S HOW YOU CAN HELP At the back of church you will find the Shower The Children with Love display. Please choose one or more raindrops which lists on the back the item that is needed. Return the item, with the raindrop a ached. We will collect the items, and deliver them to Fr. Joe s. We will be collec ng the items from July 23rd un l August 27th. Our Lady of the Rosary has been very successful on helping homeless families in our com-munity. We can con nue this very necessary work with your help. May God Bless you, The Stewardship Commi ee

(619) 234-0162 ~ shop@olrsd.org Please, Come to Church Dressed Appropriately! To be modestly and tastefully dressed is a sign of respect for God, for our selves, and for others. It s a false assumption that God does not care how we dress. Jesus told us, Whatever you do to the least of my brothers, you do it to me. If our attire is indecently provocative (short shorts, strapless, backless, spaghetti strap dresses/tops, or displaying cleavage), displaying unwholesome graphics (skulls, advertisements, scantly clad people) or tattered, it becomes offensive to our brothers and sisters who are worshipping the Lord and therefore offensive to God s Majesty. Ask this question: Would you dress this way before God? You are! He sees everything and you are in His house.
