York Rd, Dillsburg. Registration at the church begins at 10:00 a.m. The noon meal and program by the Williamsons Gospel Quartet" from Oklahoma will be included. The charge for the event is $15.00. Preregistration, along with the money, is required no later than Sunday, April 3rd. Please sign up on the sheet on the Jolly Old Timers bulletin board and pay Glenn Crum in order to guarantee your registration. Membership to Senior Life Fellowship is free this year. So, see Glenn Crum for your membership card, if you desire to be a part of the Eastern Regional Conference Fellowship. Again, DEADLINE is TODAY. April 16 April 19-5:00 p.m.--spring Fellowship Covered Dish Dinner so save the date! The CGWM will provide the meat and each family will be asked to bring a covered dish. Watch for further details in future bulletins. - 5:30 p.m.--tickets are on sale now for the Carlisle C.A.R.E.S. banquet (to help provide for the homeless). The event is at the St. Patrick Church Activity Center. You may purchase tickets by calling 249-1009 or going to www.carlislecares.org. The cost is $30 per seat or you may pay $210 for a table of 8. April 21 - The Jolly Olde Timers plan to go to the Rainbow Comedy Playhouse for the "Lighten-up Luncheon" and play Catch Me If You Can. The cost is $35 per person (includes meal, play and transportation). Deadline to sign-up and pay is April 3. Make checks payable to Glenn Crum. April 24 - The annual Cumberland Valley Missions Rally is at the Chambersburg First Church of God. At 5 p.m. is a light meal with the celebration service following. Carlisle First has set a goal of raising $8,000 for missions this year. April 30 May 1 May 21-9:00 a.m.--shot at Life --see info on bulletin board. - 10:00 a.m.--mrs. Judith McNamara will be offering a Chinese cooking class at the church. If you are interested in learning more about this hands-on method of preparing food, please sign up on the bulletin board. - 9:30 a.m.--thank OFFERING SUNDAY: Remember to bring your thank offering barrels to church as the CGWM observes Thank Offering Sunday. This year, the funds collected in these barrels are used to support ministries within the Churches of God General Conference with the greatest amounts going to Cross-Cultural Ministries, Winebrenner Theological Seminary and Transformational Ministries. -LADIES DAY OUT--You didn t miss it! Our Ladies Day Out has previously been held in March, but the CGWM has moved the date to May 21 this year. Mark your calendar now to join us as we spend a day learning how to Bloom for God.

July 10-14 - VBS 2016--You may be thinking about those summer plans to bring some warmth for your winter days. As you plan for your family vacations, please reserve on your calendar the dates of July 10-14 for Vacation Bible School. You may not be making a trip to Brazil for the 2016 Summer Olympics, but you can be part of God s Olympics! right here at Carlisle First Church of God. Children from the age of three through fifth grade are invited to participate. Don t forget to tell your family, neighbors and friends. MISSION MOMENT--Remember the Hato Mayor Church in the Dominican Republic as they use their internet café to evangelize and raise support. PRAYER REQUESTS To have a prayer request put on the telephone prayer chain, you should call Shirley McConnell (249-4095) and Sariann Worley (243-3611). To have a prayer request placed on the email prayer chain, you may email Pastor Mike and he will include the request on Hey! It s Tuesday! These are not mutually exclusive prayer opportunities you are welcome to avail yourself of any or all. IF YOU THINK you would might be interested in helping with VBS this year and you are over the age of 18, you will need to have the required state clearances completed before that time. Please plan ahead so you have time to get them done. If you need help with that procedure, please contact Rebecca Sober or Janet Kunkel. If you are looking for a Sunday School class, you are welcome to join them.
